Looking for a combined routine with Bathmate

Hi,

I’ve just bought a Bathmate Hydromax x30 pump and want to give P.E. A good go to see what results I can get. I tried starting again earlier in the year but found it too hard to fit into my daily routine and keep it on the down low. As I was ordering the Bathmate, I discussed using it with my wife and she’s fine with it so I want to stick to a good routine.

The problem is, there is so much great information on this site that I keep getting myself confused as to what to include.

Looking at the newbie routine and the advice on pumping, I was considering the following:

5 minutes low-mid pressure pumping with Bathmate
5 minutes manual stretching
5 minutes mid-high pressure pumping with Bathmate
10 minutes jelqing
5 minutes high pressure pumping with Bathmate

I’d read somewhere that doing kegels whilst pumping was also a good idea.

So I guess I’ve got these questions:

Does the above routine look ok (order, timings etc)?
Is there anything you would add/remove?
Do I need to adjust these timings as I progress or should I make progress keeping them steady? Should I just increase the duration of one of the sections of the routine?
When should I rest? I was thinking 2 days on, 1 day off.. Would every other day be enough?

Also, I do tend to get red dots after pumping or jelqing sessions. These do go away after a day but I’ve seen mixed opinions on whether they are a good or bad sign, does this just mean I’m using too much pressure?

Sorry for all of the questions. I’ve tried getting everything I need from searching etc but I keep sending myself round in circles.

Any direction anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated :-)

I think the routine looks fine, but keep in mind that you’ll probably end up changing it over time anyway. Even the ‘perfect’ routine gets tweaked here and there as you get more into it and get a fuller sense of what is working and what isn’t. Have fun, stay committed, and good luck.

Cheers guys. Dickerschwanz, what do you mean by trying cold water. Do you mean using the Bathmate with cold water at all times or just using it with cold at the end of the routine?

Both. Have to try it if you want. But an initial warm up makes sense.
High/max pressure with warm hot water almost always ends with spots etc. Cold water at the max. pressure not.

Cool. I’ve got another question actually; would it be worth splitting the jelqing/stretching and pumping and have 2 seasons in the day rather than doing all of the above in one go?


Starting stats (7/7/14) BPEL 6.00" EG 5"

Current stats (3/5/15) BPEL 6.25" EG 5" BPSFL 6.5"

Goal BPEL 7" EG 6"

I think more often is better. So 2 times a day is ok.

But the more often the lesser the intensity

Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

If there’s reasonable privacy, you can also stretch periodically throughout the day. I do it for 2-2.5 minutes most times that I take a pee. I haven’t kept track, but I think those periodic stretches plus my post-shower stretch add up to about 30 minutes per day in total.

I think your routine looks fine to start up with, build up over time and play around with.
It’s quite fun too to have in the manual routine, both as an small pause in BM from the manuals you do and relax for preparation to next set after BM. And it’s great to use as an warmup tool and warm/cooldown tool.. and if you want to get the blood flowing from an intense stretching session for example it’s perfect.

Good luck man and take it easy with the pressure in the beginning as our PE bros said above!

Thanks guys, it all sounds like great advice - good to know I’m going in the right direction. I do need to be careful with the bathmate pressure, I think I overdid it a bit last week.

Rule of thumb is that yo uwant to avoid blood spots and a huge drop in EQ the next day. Tweak it to match this and you cant do much wrong..beeing on the safe side. You wont gain with a dead dick.
