Okay so I have a weird thing going on. I usually jelq staying up right. Well today I tried it on the floor standing on my knees kind of like when you perform doggy style on a woman. And when I jelqed in this manner I didn’t necessarily feel better EQ but I felt more blood being pushed up the shaft. I was about 50-60% EQ and I felt a soft engorment like stretch girth wise. I expanded about .25 in girth when jelqing like this. Could it be that my legs were not closed like when I’m standing up? It’s almost as of there was LESS resistance coming from my penis when jelqing.

'Endeavouring to embiggin thine shlong'

Well, I don’t know how much introduction you want, but here goes. I’m 62, have had a small dick my entire life, though in my 20s and 30s it was BPEL 6.5, don’t remember the girth, if I ever knew. Flaccid was around 4.5 length. I had an active sex life with many men and a few women who either didn’t care or didn’t mention any problem with my size. But also had a few demoralizing experiences with people for whom size was all important. “Dude, you don’t have a dick! What do you expect me to do with that?” But there were a couple of relationships that would have been serious if I hadn’t run the other way. So I don’t blame penis size for my life-long bachelorhood.

In my late 40s, my penis started shrinking, and for about 15 years I’ve been essentially celibate. Recently I lost 40 pounds (keto, baby!) and have been hit on by a couple of men and and a woman. It’s flattering, to be sure, but since I was down to 5.5 BPEL, 5.5 EG, and 2.5 FL, 5.2 FG, and because my erections aren’t as firm or as reliable as I would like, I don’t want to respond to these, um, invitations until my penis is back in performance condition.

So I started doing some cardio and yoga, especially something called “the 5 Tibetan rites,” (actually 6) which have boosted my libido and made my erections noticeably harder and more frequent.

Surfing the net for solutions, I came upon the YouTube videos for BathMate, and I bought one. Oh, yeah. I love it, am experiencing a bit of flaccid growth and the shape and overall appearance is way better. It used to be much thicker at the base and tapered toward a rather pointed, small, circumcised glans. Two weeks with the BM and it’s now pretty much even girth on the whole shaft, the glans is bigger and there’s a bit of skin around my foreskin scar that is bunched and wrinkled and looks almost like an uncut penis with the foreskin retracted. It gives me hope to one day try foreskin restoration.

I also started jelqing, and wish I had more hours in the day to devote to it.

Then I discovered this site and am reading everything possible here to start PE over and do it safely. I see that BathMate is not recommended here for newbies, and though I want to do things the right way, the safe way, the way that won’t cause injury or problems that set me back, I really love doing the BM. So I’m doing it without a lot of pressure and never more than 10 minutes, though I’ve seen here that is strongly discouraged. You all certainly know best, but I feel like a teenager who is told not to masturbate; I can’t stop!

At any rate, this place rocks! You are clearly a knowledgeable, experienced, generous group of people, and you provide a welcoming, non-judgmental environment for people who, if they are like me, are often clueless in the beginning.

Also, here’s something (an exercise?) I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere (which tells me it’s probably not effective or it would be listed with all the other exercises. Nevertheless, it seems to address some of my problem. I keep reading about “the inner penis,” the part that’s hidden inside the body. Well, my inner penis seems to be longer than the outer one, so before I jelq or stretch or pump, I spend a little time pushing my fingers down into the base of my penis and finding that ring of bone where the penis root goes through to inside my body, and then I hold everything in that area in place while I separate and massage the root of my penis and try to pull it out more or at least find some separation between the penis and the muscles that hold it in place. That may or may not have an actual benefit, but it seems to make my dick feel longer, even if it’s not visibly bigger yet.

Lastly, in all I do, I’m practically a fanatic about holding the “chicken skin” as close to my body as possible and stretching only the shaft of the penis, hoping to avoid turkey neck. And my balls are sucked up extremely tight to the base of my dick, so I’m trying to stretch them, too, and am thinking of getting a cock ring with an attached ball stretcher. I’ve never even worn a cock ring, never liked being with a man who wore one, and find them to be a turn-off, but it seems like they are useful and I might benefit from using one, if only to pull my balls away from my shaft a bit.

First of all, your penis is not small. Length is fairly average and 5.5” EG is definitely not small!! A lot of us found that the first real successes we had with the Newbie Routine was flaccid gains. Hopefully, it’ll happen for you, too.

Thank you. I was just noticing this morning it actually *hangs* again, instead of sticking straight out from being too short to bend. And thus it also feels good just being in my pants, which rub against the shaft, instead of being so turtled I can’t feel anything except the tip being rubbed by my underwear. I feel like I actually have a dick again, and I’m looking forward to celebrating by using it.

New Guy and Early assessment of group

This is a quick assessment , I hope no one takes offense . First I would like to say I will never give judgement or question anyone statements unless I find them to be untrue , I would never seek to harm anyone’s progress , I will mess with trolls because they deserve it , and I do not tolerate bullying and that includes being there for someone who is in the process of being bullied .
Now that I have that out of the way , I see a lot of members here who are way larger than me , even at their starting point , and it makes me wonder why they are here ( even though it really is none of my business and everyone has their reasons and do not owe me an explanation) . Which brings me to my first question because this is really where my issue begins , what do we do with the psychological side of having what we consider to ourselves a small penis ? I struggle with this on a daily basis and my confidence level is up and down , but still probably the biggest issue I have . How does one continue through the arduous process through those depressive times ? I will list some details about me :

42 Years old male
22 years with 1 woman , 2 grown boys
1-3 inches flaccid , 5 inches Length erect X 5 girth

I’m 29. In summer 2013 I had tried the beginner routine for a week, my main goal was to increase my self-confidence after a break up. I found other ways to deal with my confidence issues (game, positive masculinity) and am currently in a much better mental state. I remember the beginner routine’s improvement on my EQ (waking up with my morning wood puts me right in the mood) and extra inches in length and girth would be the bonus. So here I am with a more direct focus and dedication.
