Newbie question on soreness Yes, I have searched.
Hi all; long term lurker, first (or maybe second, I can’t remember haha) time poster.
I’ve been pretty lax in the past with PE, probably actually started this time last year.. So I decided to really get into it starting last week. Been doing a pretty basic newbie routine, but not the newbie routine recommended here exactly:
5 minutes warm-up
15-20 wet jelq
10-25 stretching
Firegoat rolls
My problem is that after just these two weeks (which aren’t even over), I have an alarming soreness. I say “alarming” because 1) like another guy posting recently in this thread, I’m a workout enthusiast and know how soreness works and 2) obviously, it’s my penis and I don’t want to mess it up.
So, my question is: Is soreness normal after this amount of time? I noticed the soreness after 5 days on (last work week) but it was still there after two days off. I did my routine Monday, but haven’t done anything else this week because of the pain. I masturbated today to be sure everything was “working,” and thankfully it is, but this pain is still here.
The pain is kind of like a “I kegeled too much” feeling in the shaft, if that makes sense.
Further info: I generally take it slow and easy on jelq strokes (trying to get 3 seconds or more), and do it with enough pressure to really feel the blood go to the head. I didn’t think it was TOO much pressure, but after the pain on Friday and the weekend, I lightened up a bit on Monday. I do release before the head, and also I’ll add that I don’t think it’s stretching because the pain is in the shaft.
