It’s really spooked me? I need a few senior members, moderators and experienced PEers to put my mind at ease and let me know I can PE with confidence. I only do the newbie routine, nothing adventurous or over strenuous.
The other thing I notice is the accusations of Trolls in some of these threads whats the motive behind people making stuff up? And just another couple of questions do you think age should be considered with PE and just what kind of percentage of PEers get injuries? If anyone knows
Help, I’m scared, and thought I had solved a depressing part of my life
Hey 19052010, I’ve read a few of your posts already, you seem like a reasonable guy, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Here’s some answers to your quesstions :)
1. Reading the injuries sections can be a bad idea, it can be depressing in there, but on the positive side you’ll see what to avoid and also the number of stories of people injuring themselves and recovering far outweigh the true horror stories, which I equate with the likelihood of being eaten by a shake while going to the beach.
2. Ignore the trolls, they’re usually fairly obvious.
3. Age will affect PE but we have members literally of ALL AGES (above 18 of course :P) right up and over their 60s who are still improving themselves and their penises.
4. I think just about everyone gets minor injuries throughout their careers. I’m talking about stuff that ultimately has no long term affects at all. A blister from hanging maybe here, a bruise from overzealous jelqing there, perhaps a donut ring or uncomfortable lymph fluid buildup from clamping or pumping too tightly, hell even a thrombosed vein is not TOTALLY uncommon for people jumping into hanging too quickly - but my point is none of these injuries will do you any harm, so long as you give them a week or so to heal (except thrombosed veins which can take up to a month or two).
So I’ve tried to be honest, injuries are possible. The more serious crippling injuries like nerve or vascular damage are extremely rare, and even those are usually treatable and ultimately resolvable.
Anyway, put this stuff out of your head, don’t let fear stop you from appreaciating something as great and awesome as PE is (as you’ll soon discover). In the meantime, I recommend quicking this out, if you haven’t already:
