Really scared all of a sudden

So I started PE a week ago and feel fine and excited by the whole new venture and possibility of gaining a bit of length and girth. Obviously I’ve read the newbie intro stuff and warnings, but for some reason today I has a glance at the injury section and read threads such as ‘PE ruined my life’ and similar threads that have horrible, suicidal stories. It’s really spooked me? I need a few senior members, moderators and experienced PEers to put my mind at ease and let me know I can PE with confidence. I only do the newbie routine, nothing adventurous or over strenuous.

The other thing I notice is the accusations of Trolls in some of these threads whats the motive behind people making stuff up? And just another couple of questions do you think age should be considered with PE and just what kind of percentage of PEers get injuries? If anyone knows

Help, I’m scared, and thought I had solved a depressing part of my life

I WILL Double my Volume! Size Doesn't matter - THIS DOES!

When you go weightlifting, if you’re an idiot you can do too much weight and drop the bar on your neck and kill yourself. When you practice jiujitsu on a friend, you can break his arm without meaning to. It’s a physical activity that carries potential health risks. However, just like bodybuilding and jiujitsu, the ‘sport’ is meant to cultivate good health and increased functionality. So, if you’re safe and incremental with your PE, starting with low-stress pressures and low-risk exercises, and always listen to your body for signals and feedback about how your body is handling the stress. If you don’t already know, there’s an idea about EQ which stands for Erection Quality. As a general rule of thumb, if your penis hangs nice and plump and healthy after a workout, it is probably a good thing. Contrarily, if your dick shrivels up and there’s pain or your erections aren’t very good, you might be doing something wrong. The idea is to treat PE like an experiment and pay attention to the things that are working, and to those that aren’t. Taking diligent notes can help keep record of all of this. Another important part about PE, and probably an important reason to //START WITH THE NEWBIE ROUTINE// is that your penis needs to be conditioned before you begin really serious exercises. If a person were to start hanging right away, for example, they may find that their penis simply cannot handle it.

I hope this is some good information for you. Good luck with it all.

Recognize.

There is nothing to be afraid of if you apply common sense and don’t get crazy.

Just remember there are lots of stupid people in this world that can screw anything up.

People have won millions of dollars in the lottery and later say it ruined their life.

Just take it slow and don’t expect immediate results.

Hey 19052010, I’ve read a few of your posts already, you seem like a reasonable guy, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Here’s some answers to your quesstions :)

1. Reading the injuries sections can be a bad idea, it can be depressing in there, but on the positive side you’ll see what to avoid and also the number of stories of people injuring themselves and recovering far outweigh the true horror stories, which I equate with the likelihood of being eaten by a shake while going to the beach.

2. Ignore the trolls, they’re usually fairly obvious.

3. Age will affect PE but we have members literally of ALL AGES (above 18 of course :P) right up and over their 60s who are still improving themselves and their penises.

4. I think just about everyone gets minor injuries throughout their careers. I’m talking about stuff that ultimately has no long term affects at all. A blister from hanging maybe here, a bruise from overzealous jelqing there, perhaps a donut ring or uncomfortable lymph fluid buildup from clamping or pumping too tightly, hell even a thrombosed vein is not TOTALLY uncommon for people jumping into hanging too quickly - but my point is none of these injuries will do you any harm, so long as you give them a week or so to heal (except thrombosed veins which can take up to a month or two).

So I’ve tried to be honest, injuries are possible. The more serious crippling injuries like nerve or vascular damage are extremely rare, and even those are usually treatable and ultimately resolvable.

Anyway, put this stuff out of your head, don’t let fear stop you from appreaciating something as great and awesome as PE is (as you’ll soon discover). In the meantime, I recommend quicking this out, if you haven’t already:

Before You PE: A Penis Inventory

It’s just the few cases which refer to newbie routines and beginners that experience problems even though they insist they were not over doing it. But I guess theres only a few cases. Just for people viewing this thread theres links to some of the injury threads and the advice given to them.

Injury story

But whats the whole troll thing about?

I WILL Double my Volume! Size Doesn't matter - THIS DOES!

I had the exact same questions as OP

Thanks for all the good info. :)

That link scared the crap out of me though.

Current size: 19.5cm by 12.5 cm

Short term goal: 21cm by 14cm

Long term goal: 23cm by 16 cm

The most important thing, in my opinion, is to stay away from the dorsal vein that runs along the middle of the top of the shaft. If you injure that guy, you’re going to be in really big trouble. I’ve noticed that if it gets rubbed the wrong way, my penis can lose power for weeks. Beyond that, don’t fall into the trap of trying to gain quickly by doing extra intense sessions. For example, don’t assume that it is good for your penis to pump at very high pressure while it makes your penis huge in the short-run. In reality, long-term benefits often come from gentle exercise every single day. The same philosophy works with other types of exercises as well…

Recognize.

The dorsal vein is a thing - and I can’t remember many people reporting injuries to dorsal vein.

The dorsal nerve is another thing, a few guys got injured there and took months to heal. Avoid too long blood flow restriction and grabbing too hard right under the glans.

Don’t confuse the dorsal vein with the dorsal nerve, anyway, or you’ll tend to go mad for fear. :)

It’s possible that some very small percentage of men starting PE experience injuries from what would generally be thought of here as reasonable forces. On the other hand, the newbie exercises here generally involve forces not much different or more intense than what you might exert from vigorous masturbation or energetic sex. What that suggests is that those individuals potentially had a predisposition to injury, for whatever reason. PE just happened to be the proximal cause, but if it hadn’t been PE, it would have been something else at some point (such as vigorous masturbation or energetic sex).

As to trolls - are you asking ‘why are some people trolls?’ or ‘why do we suspect some people of being trolls?’

Trolls are a well known Internet forum phenomenon. http://en.wikip edia.org/wiki/T … _%28Internet%29 Some people just like to get on forums and stir up controversy or cause trouble. As to trolls at Thunder’s specifically, some come with an agenda - they may be against PE in general. They may be against PE as it is practiced here. They may be from another PE forum, or from a commercial forum that wants to discredit the competition. They may want to discredit the PE that is done here because they have something that they want to sell instead.

As to why some people are suspected of being trolls, sometimes it is because of behavior consistent with the objectives that I just outlined. Sometimes it’s because the stories they tell are just don’t have the ring of truth about them.

"OH! I experienced catastrophic damage after eight jelqs - no, six - no, four - no, after I just LOOKED at my penis sideways! "

Sometimes the stories get ‘better’ as they go along, or key facts emerge later in the thread which would have been pertinent earlier. It’s possible to suspect someone of ‘sweetening’ their story a little with such details when it looks like their story as they first told it isn’t holding up.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

And don’t confuse the dorsal vein or the dorsal nerve with Tony Dorsett, or who knows WHAT would happen!

In the words of the great Judge Judy:

“If something doesn’t make sense, it’s usually not true.”

Yeah, dorsal nerve— I’m tripping. Thanks for the correction!
