Why do people say 'length before girth'?

Why do people say 'length before girth'?

I see people saying this or taking this approach a lot, yet I have so far been unable to locate a thread or post explaining why.

Its an old rule that that doesn’t have much evidence, basically if you do girth first then the scar tissue build up would make it difficult to really stretch your dick thus hindering length gains.

The girthier it is, the more tissue you need to stretch, the more force you have to apply. It is good to use low force and still gain.

I heard that is more easy and safe doing length exercises than girth.

Interesting. Makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

When measuring an object per se in math you measure it’s length by it’s width…just my opinion

I believe in working both together. Which is basically what the Newbie Routine does with stretches and Jelqs.

Considering that you are one of the top gainers but took a simultaneous length and girth approach, surely that debunks the ‘length before girth’ idea.

I am been simultaneously working length and girth but more on the length side.

Starting with the new year, I want to start hanging and focus on length. I will supplement an ADS (vac stretcher or cock coil).

After several months, I will add pumping back in on occasion. I few months later I want to get into regular clamping.

In the late Summer, I will consider ultrasound for more length. It has also been shown to help girth. It seems like a tight septum and keep you CS flat and prevent it from filling up like a thick cylinder.

I’m just a Newbie bit I have put on some very decent length and a bit of girth. It suppose proportional length and girth increases are ideal to the eye….

I don’t have any evidence, but the thought process is essentially that it’s easier to stretch something thin than something thick, of the same materials.

I’ve addressed this subject a number of times, and have wondered how and why the idea of length before girth ever got started. IMO it has no merit for a couple of reasons.
First and foremost you can’t work length without indirectly working girth. As you stretch your penis and increase it’s length you will also be increasing it’s thickness (girth). You can’t work your chest by doing push ups without working your shoulders and triceps too.

I’ve read too many posts on a variety of forums where guys say they gain girth easily, and that’s the reason they want to work length first. I’d love to know exactly how you gain girth easily, and what kind of easy girth gain are you talking about? Give me some numbers… 1/4”? 1/2”? 3/4”? and how long did it take to make any of those girth gains?

I honestly believe length is over rated. Just like a fastball is over rated. Major league hitters feast on fastballs. Good pitchers get outs with junk…. change ups, and breaking balls. Women love GIRTH, it gives them a full feeling, while too much length (7+ inches) often hits the cervix and causes pain. Women don’t like pain, they like orgasms!

So when doing your PE training work on both length and girth. A well balanced routine that incorporates hand stretching / jelqing, weight hanging and pumping is in my opinion the optimal way to reach your full PE potential.
