Yeah, a big part of it is women who’ve got the idea that being sexually liberated involves talking about sex all the time, how much they want it, how much they love big dicks and so on. In Britain this was known as the ‘ladette’, the female equivalent of the ‘lad’ culture of mid-late 90s. In America you’d say ‘fratboy’ or ‘bro’, I guess.
But anyway, I think you have to look at the possibility of selection bias here. Let’s assume, for now, that say 20% of women do really love big dicks and find average-sized ones a bit disappointing. If those women make up 100% of women who love to talk about dicks, then your experience as a man is that when women talk about dicks, 100% of them say they love huge ones. It’s just that the other 80% aren’t going around telling everyone how much the love average-sized dicks.
It’s no different from men who love to brag about their sex lives, really. When was the last time you heard a loud-mouthed guy drunkenly telling anyone who’ll listen about the average-sized tits on this chick he banged the other night? Of course he’s going to say they were huge - whether they were or not - because that’s the kind of thing guys like that say. But a woman with nothing to go on other than what she’d overheard loud drunk guys brag about might think that all guys have a thing for huge tits and find average-sized ones inadequate.
