Benefits of Heat in PE

Interested in this aswell.

Also, halogen heater is the same as infrared heater (spacer heater)?
I’m using an halogen heater with three lamps during my entire routines. Each lamp is 400w (1200w total) but I only use two lamps on, since here is already an tropical type of weather for most part of the year.

Not sure, but when pumping, I have the feel that heat is not enough … looks like the heat is not passing by the cylinder. The tube gets “blurry” inside tho. Is enough?

Heating throughout the workout is essential. It’s what caused my major gains.

My heating pad just showed up today and Im literally in the pump now with the pad wrapped around the tube. You were my inspiration to get some heat on my unit so thank you. Looking forward to see how well it works. It was cheap too, like $15 on amazon with the ability to do dry or moist heat.

I’m sure you’ll be able to tell the difference. Make sure you remove the pad about a minute before you exit the cylinder. It’s much hotter than it feels to your hands.

PE takes time, consistent effort and patience, but heat is very important - read my signature line below. :)

Any preferences on what you currently use or recommend for heat? I’m a frequent flyer for work so It would need to be safe for flying. Although I’ve never taken PE equipment in my carry on luggage, well not yet anyways. Always stored with the main luggage underneath.

I’ve been hunting around but nothing stands out just yet for purchase.

My favourite was a felt InfraRed pad designed primarily for sports injuries and joint issues, which I took apart and used the innards and formed into a tube that I used for a few minutes before exercise.

The initial gains were rewarding and easy, though they slowed after a couple of weeks.

I’ve been living in Thailand for nearly 10 years now (I was in England when I was active on Thunders place), and the idea of a big unit no longer seems important to me (different lifestyle and culture), whereas before in the west it felt like it was a big deal.

If you stop exercises then gradually the gains go away back to your set point (over several years, not immediate), but I believe that if you want to maintain your gains, then it would only take a little exercise to maintain them maybe a few minutes stretching when showering or something similar.

Wishing you well in whatever your goals are,
Paul

Man, do I wish I’d read this before last night. Was in for quite a shock when my glans hit a part of the tube that had gotten way too hot. Thankfully I was able to get it off quickly enough to prevent serious damage.

Starting Stats (7/2015): NBPEL: 7.25 | BPEL: 8.25 | EG: 5.25

Current (9/2015): BPEL 8.25 | EG 5.5

Goal: BPEL: 9.5 | EG 6.5 The Slow Road to Bigger and Better

Yes thank you for the tip, been noticing that as I finish and exit the tube. Was actually shocking how hot it felt even though it was comfortable during the pumping session.

I just purchased a heating pad and will keep this in mind. No one want’s to deal with a potential burn. I’m thinking sun burn on the toes but much worse for the pain scale.

If anyone is curious it’s a Thermotex elbow system purchased off of My Blog - My WordPress Blog.
The specs are as follows:
Voltage 110V
Material Velours (nylon face cover, 50/50 nylon/cotton back)
Power 24W
Temperature Low~High 40C - 45C
Infrared Heating Panels 2 (3" X 8" / 7.6cm x 20.3cm)
Heat penetration up to 2.36 inches / 6 cm
FDA registered and CMD license (Canadian Medical Device)

It’s perfect size to wrap around a cylinder while pumping but yes it’s expensive and totally unnecessary as their is plenty of alternative options already mentioned in the previous pages which cost under $20 dollars. Fingers crossed if the quality lasts long term beyond 5 years for me this will be a worthy investment.

Great post, will definitely choose to incorporate more heat into my routines to allow for my tissues to be more workable! I figured 5 minutes of heat would suffice, but maybe adding another 5 minutes will penetrate to deep tissues and cause a more linear, steady growth pattern.

Start: 7.5 BPEL, 5.0 EG

Current: 7.5 BPEL, 5.2EG

Goal: 9 BPEL, 6.0 EG

Just adding a vote of approval for the IR lamp. I recently switched, and find it much better than the rice sock for both hanging and manuals.

Before 5.5" x 4.1" ///////// Now 7.4" x 4.9"

Although I think the IR lamp is ‘king’ for heating the penis, for travelling a microwaveable gel pack is great (you can usually put them in boiling water to heat them too) and they are cheap and available enough (price of a couple of beers) to be able to buy at your destination and leave there if you don’t want to travel with them. Or you can just buy a cup of coffee in a large insulated Styrofoam cup and keep the cup to fill with hot tap water and use that to warm up. :)

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Glad I’m doing my research. Have yet to start consistently but I believe that healing is the most overlooked and most critical point when building any muscle. I like the heating every so often, think on my off days I’m going to spend the day putting heat on that area.

How do you do to protect the testickles? Just covering with a hand or? My wife and I are still maybe getting a child and therefor I am worried about heating the testicles. / SMD
