Bib's LOT Theory

The LOT Theory has been found to be just that, a ‘theory’, but in practice it doesn’t really work out and can be ignored.

I kind of feel like this thread should be removed since its basically been proven that the theory doesn’t really apply.

Once a thread has even one reply, it’s here forever, even if the thread starter asks for it to be removed. That’s the way we’ve always run things.

It’s really annoying on some forums when you go to look for a thread and someone has removed it!

+1

Okay can someone explain to me what loss of tugback means and what are liggs?

Lig is short for ligament, a fibrous connective tissue.

As for the other, so you are not getting 3rd hand info:

Go to bibhanger website
Click on Forum
Click on Bibs Lot Theory Must Read thread
After reading…
Click on Mirror and Palpation thread

This gives you the information direct from the source.

First redneck to say the phrase, “hold my beer while I go and microwave my unit for a bit”

Confused

I’ve read the theory and was stretching while kegeling to try and get an idea of where my LOT was.
What confuses me is that I have 0 tug-back when I pull it straight down (6:00), and most tug-back when it is pulled straight up (12:00).

When I slowly lower the stretch, I start to have less tug-back, and around 9:00 or straight out I only see some a little tucking but only at the base, nothing that I can feel.

I am sort of confused as to when my LOT would be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind - I’ve just seen that the theory has been discredited

This theory was debunked years ago.

You guys stretch while erect?

Intuition for LOT

Why is it that high LOT implies unstretched ligs? Intuitively, if your ligs are tight, they should pull back most when you kegel at the lowest angle (I.e. The angle at which you are pulling directly 180 degrees against the ligs). If they are loose, then tugback (which is always higher at higher angles) should gradually become less at higher angles, no?

Why is this a faulty explanation? Can someone give me the intuition?

I’ll just quote this post from right above.

BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

So if Bib’s theory is false, are ligament gains still real, and how do they work?

Then again, I'm a virgin so anything I say might be completely incorrect.

Look at penis ligaments picture. You can see that if ligs keep shaft very close to pubic bone then stretching can give a little bit length. But you can also see why bone pressed measurement starts going up more than non bone pressed. Exit point moves lower so ruler goes deeper in body to reach pubic bone. Also strong erection angle has own benefits and that lessens if ligs are very stretched.

My gut says that the best stretching goes against the angle of strongest tugback, I.e., a very high angle. It feels like there’s greater tension when I put my extender on and leave it on my stomach and try to “turtle up” thereby pulling my shaft back into the device. Unfortunately, to this point my extender has not been strong enough to maintain tension/grip when I do this, so it slips off. With hanging I hope to achieve unbreakable grip.

Interesting. I wish I had taken a good set of before photos, because I think I have experienced a lowering of my exit point similar to how it’s described in bib’s theory. My ligs felt very tight when I started. It hasn’t been that long but I do feel they’ve started to stretch out and loosen.
