Clamping - No Expansion!

Thought I’d try clamping instead of day 5 of Mem’s routins. The very first time I tried it, using the cable clamp incorrectly, I had great expansion, I could really feel it. Since this very first time I have had no expansion at all.

- I am correctly positioning the clamp, with screw at the bottom of the penis (I only did it the wrong way again to try to replicate the first experience).

- I have tried clamping from very tight to a couple clicks off (and everything in-between).

- I’m warming up for about 10 min with heat gel bag. Sometimes reapplying between sets.

- Sets from 3 min to about 5. 3 of.

- Have tried different wrappings, teacloth, elastic bands and have varied thickness on both.

- Kegelling blood in doesn’t seem to help.

- One things I have noticed sometimes is a bulge on the underside of the penis at the clamp (away from body). Is this blood build up? Doesn’t look right.

I feel like there must be something I’m not doing right, please help this is driving me crazy.

Oh and I’ve read every thread I could find on the subject.

You probably are doing everything right Yoshi. I never get much expansion until I’m over the 30 min mark or so, then only 1/8” (if I’m lucky!) of genuine expansion, often less. Some guys who report large increases in clamped girth may be getting them, but I think with most guys it’s just fluid build up.

I always edge for 5-10 minutes first to make sure I’m fully engorged before applying the clamp.

Edging and kegals during the set push me to expand at least a extra .5 and more at the head.


Then, 6.1 x 4.5 Now, 7.25 x 5.25

Try edging with a cock ring, see if you get more expansion.

The bulge you’re seeing is just the base of the CS being squeezed and normal.

At what point do you tighten the clamp ?

I always found if i got too hard and then tightened I got no expansion.

Also if the clamp isn’t tight at the base it can affect things.

I find the same. Those are good points. By ‘tight at the base’ you don’t mean how tight it is, but how low down on your shaft it is, and that it is as far down as it can reasonably go.

Yes sorry I meant how close to the body, it seems the closer the better.
If I ever let the clamp move up the shaft then I couldn’t get a good engorgement.
I think this is why the air clamp never worked for me, I just couldn’t press it into the fad pad deep enough.

I will often release the clamp a click or two and Kegel in more blood then quickly re-clamp.

This serves two purposes. The first is it helps to expand things a little more. Second, the fresh blood also brings in fresh oxygen. This often allows me to extend my session. I wouldn’t try go ing beyond your normal time limit until you are very experienced and have a good feel for things.

Ah thanks I was worried about that bulge.

I usually tighten it as far down the base of the shaft as possible and usually when fully erect but have tried with a half erect too.

I’ll give the edging a bit of a go and another other suggestions are welcome.

I agree, when I tightened it to max my penis would not expand so much, but click or two less it has better expansion.

But we're never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy.

I don’t normally see any expansion until my 3rd 10 minute set then I see 1/4”. Seems to be norm for most guys.

Course I’m using an Air Clamp and can do 3 sets in 45 minutes without removing anything. Some guys can do sets faster then that as they get pink quicker then others do.

Do you mean fully engorged (i.e. rock hard beyond normal erection levels) or expansion of girth beyond normal erect girth? The reason I ask is because I think they are two different things. Some people can get rock hard without expanding, while other people do, and neither one is incorrect. Personally, if I have really good engorgement my girth is typically 1/2” bigger than in an unclamped, yet 100% erect, state. Other people might not have an increase in girth while clamping, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are doing it wrong—that’s just how their unit operates. HOWEVER, if you can’t get rock hard—beyond normal erection levels, regardless of whether your cock is expanding or not, then I think you’re doing it wrong.

Sometimes I also seem to only be getting 100% erect, but not rock hard like it should get. When this happens I either need to kegel harder, watch more porn, or as a last resort, put another clamp on directly on top of the first. I find a second clamp gets me rock hard pretty quickly. As soon as I’m in this state, I can take the 2nd clamp off and will stay rock hard.

Anyway, I just wanted to clarify the difference between true engorgement—being rock hard, and actually having your penis expand. If you don’t experience the latter, you’re not necessarily doing it wrong as long as your cock is still harder than it would be with just a normal erection.

What happens is during a clamp session your fully engorged and during subsequent sets your girth measurement increases. This is the expansion we’re talking about here. Your reaching full engorgement during each of the first couple of sets but then a girth increase is realized subsequently.

@ xscreamj - I am getting rock hard and very veiny but with zero expansion. I have fooled around with different clamp settings and trying to kegel blood in but it doesn’t seem to change anything, so that’s something I’ll continue to work on.

@ Monty - I might try doing an extra couple sets on top of the three I do already and see if that helps.

I do remember the first time I used the clamp and was successful that I was hornier than I have been. Do you guys think libido can make a big difference in your clamping?

This is really bumming me out as I’m losing faith in p.e. and really thought clamping was going to be the breakthrough for me after the first session.

Are you heating well before your session?

I edge and dry jelq before clamping, then in between sets.
