How Embarassing....Any Advice?

Well today I’m at school in a library browsing around thunders as I frequently do. I have been on haidus with my PE because of a very mild injury which i plan to nurse for about another week, just to be safe. Well anyway, long story short Im browsing a few member pics and some rent-a-cop security bitch says, “that’s inappropriate sir, come into my office!” . Im sort of shocked because there was no one around and I only opened the pic for all of 5 seconds. She then writes me up for looking at “pornographic images”!! What’s probably worse is she is going to spread around that im “gay” or whatever to the other 30 y/o something security losers who are overstaffed, overpaid and underworked. For shit sakes, all they do is go out for smoke breaks, and at any given time there’s at least three of them “patrolling” the library. THE LIBRARY!!! When the hell did anyone ever need a security guard in the library???

Anyways, I’m not sure if Im in any real trouble, but I would suspect a fine and she said that Im suspended from the library untill future notice. I said, “bbbut look! it’s not porno!” and she said, “you dont wanna argue with me, I know what I saw!”. I was even hesitant to show her the actual site I was on, I mean it might’ve made things even worse.

So, I guess my question is “should I fight this “fine/suspension” or whatever it is”?. For christ sakes I have an A avg GPA, but some stupid bull dyke security guard can really make things messy for me. I dont want to be expalaining to the “Student’s Rep Board”- “no no no, it wasnt porno, it was a picture of a penis from a penis enlargement website…You see I’m trying to make my penis bigger….yea but a penis isnt porno…etc etc etc” *shudder*

God why is it that even in a university the stupid control everything…maybe i should just move to alabama (lol, jk).

Maybe play up on the injury thing no matter how mild it is. That you have a condition and were researching.

Ask why the hell the library machines don’t have NetNanny to keep young minds like yours out of such evil places as this. Sue the fuckers. We are Netnanny compliant.

Well, I say fight it. Go over rent-a-cop’s head. Claim you were doing research for an injury prior to seeing a doctor, and you just happened to get a hit on google that lead you to that website.

They don’t need to know any details about your injury. Saying less is more. Show’em the logic that lead you to the website, and they should look on it as a misunderstanding. Exceptions can be made, even at university.

To burn the bitch, just make sure you mention that you tried to explain, but she wouldn’t listen, and threatened you. And I say don’t worry about what she says to others, I doubt that all the security people are going to care. Some of them might even be PE’ers. ;-)

Awesome! Best story of the day. Tell them you are researching a paper for psych/sociology/anthro/what the fuck ever about strange internet sites. You know the dreaded penis pulling cult.

I’d say it was a picture of my own penis that I uploaded into the internet recently and that I just wanted to check whether people on the net responded to your request. The reason for posting was a trombosed vein that really badly heart, but you were to shy to go to a doctor. So that is why you tried to get input from a medical community thing on the web to help you with your problem.

I wouldn’t fight it because they may have a record of the pages you have accessed. I’d make up a story which is far away from pornographic but which is consistent.

If you say it is a picture of your penis and you posted it because of an injury I guess that is the least pornographic possible. Nobody would want to see if it is really your penis. nobody can judge whether a vein is trombosed. And everbody in a sense can understand that some people have problems going to the doctor because it is such an intimate thing.

I would also say that you really wanted to find out if people had given you advice and therefore you used the school computer. It was just a one-time thing and you will promise to never do it again.

In all honesty, listen to TPS, he is smart.

Tell them you sustained an injury during sexual intercourse OR fell out of bed onto your penis, while sleeping. Either way will work. Then play that tune like Johnny playing the fiddle in Georgia… If you fight it hard enough, the “rent-a-cop” will be pulled aside, and might have to apologize to you.

I should also mention that just as I was trying to say, “it’s not porno…” she cuts me off and says (outloud in the library), “You dont want to argue with me sir, I saw you looking at porn!”. I felt somewhat violated in the sense that trying to defend myself would’ve only made it more embarassing, especially with onlookers who just heard her. I was SO embarassed that I just STFU and hoped people would look away. Fucking dyke!

I am hesitant to complain to the “student reps” people because I go to a relatively small school and see these people (student reps) on a regular basis. So for them to even know about this is pretty shitty. Even with the “confidentiality” people talk and word gets out. I checked the “write up form” she gave me and it said that I was protected under the FOIP act (freedom of information and privacy act) which means that people cant just look this up. Another way complaining could be trip me up is that if they check out my log they’ll see that I have been on torrent porn sites on school property (my school’s laptop based and completely wireless- I was also on my laptop during this ordeal) but that’s just text links from torrent sites, so no real pornographic images. In any event, Ill be sure to let you guys know as soon as I get some more information on the situation.

I just had this talk with the librarian at my local public library.
I can look at porn all day there and they have to provide me with a place “safe” from prying eyes.
Tax payer funded peep shows, how cool. I can’t wait until some guy goes in there and turns the volume way up just in time to hear midwest mandy screaming fuck my ass, fuck my ass. LOL

I think I would go with the research angle or blame it on their shitty anti pop up software.

While I agree with the other guys here, WHY DID YOU OPEN A PICTURE OF A PENIS IN THE LIBRARY? Thats asking for trouble!
