Hanging is excellent. The trick is to COAX length gains…not force it.
I think vacuum hanging is the most convient method.
I recommend to start no higher than 5 lbs. If you get alot of shrinkage (turtling) that lasts more than a few hours…decrease wt.
If you don’t get EXCESSIVE contraction, it is a good place to start.
Measure bpfl daily and see if you are gaining, if not increase by one lb a week until gains start.
Once gain starts…STICK WITH THAT WEIGHT until gains slow or stop.
At that point you could move up a lb at a time for a couple lbs, a lb at a time.
If a couple lb increase begin to NOT WORK, then I think you will benefit much more with a deconditioning break, drop the wt and climb the ladder again.
I think that going over 15 lbs is a mistake for most…that seems to be where most start to really get a toughening reaction.
