LOT test, movement of head and ligs.

While doing the LOT test, many guys have reported movement at the top base of their penis while doing the kegal. I think for most, if not all, this is the LIGAMENTS reacting to the kegal.

When you begin to see the Loss OF Tugback of the head, and you see a movement in your base, that should definitively be your LOT. That is the exact point that your PC no longer affects the outer shaft, and the energy from the PC is affecting the ligs.

I think the reason some guys are having problems finding their exact LOT, is because they are getting some head movement, because the PC is working through the ligs, and the ligs are pulling back the outer shaft slightly.

Don’t make it too difficult. If the head does not pull back much, and the base is ‘flexing’, that is your LOT.

So,

When your head stops pulling back, that’s your LOT?

Of course assuming you aren’t gripping or pulling to hard preventing it from moving in the first place :)

Twatteaser: the man, the myth, and the legend in his own mind.

Let me be a little clearer. On some thread, I said that when you see a leesening of the tugback, it might be because the ligs and shaft are both taking some of the tugback from the PC. This could be valid. But if the base is flexing, the ligs, and the head is showing a slight tugback, then it is probably the tugback being transferred through the ligs to the outer shaft without the outer shaft being affected by the inner shaft. Then, your LOT would be where the tugback begins to be reduced, and the base flexes.

Does this make sense, or do I need to explain it better.

RB,

This is for the guys that have confusion because the tugback begins to slow. Not as strong at some point. If the loss of tugback is defined, there is no problem.

Hey Bib, I have noticed that unless I concentrate on the front part of the pc flex, I loose pull back at 10 or so but when I concentrate, I loose it at 8:30 or so. When I first start to kegal it seems like I am using more of the muscle closest to the anus. I seem to have problems actually using the right muscle flex. Any tips on isolating the proper flex for those of us without good muscle control or do I just have a weak PC? I am not familiar with the muscle layouts down there.

Cya,

Go take a piss. Stop pissing in mid stream. That is your PC.

Ok, Thanks. I guess I am weak as well. If I take a second in between positions, I get a strong pull back at 8 and some at 7. I didn’t even do 6, whats the point in depressing myself more. Its Tunica city for me.

I am surprised that there has not been more response to this thread. This could mean that many guys have switched to tunica stretching while there are still more gains to be had by ligament stretches.

Using this new information my LOT is 8 while previously I thought it was 7. From what I can gather this means I could possibly gain about 1/4” more from ligament stretching.

Back to SD and BTC stretching for me!

Thanks for this post, Bib.

I exactly had this problem with the movement at the base.
Now I know for sure that I’ve a good chance to gain from my ligs.

Bib,

I greatly admire and appreciate your work. From my understanding in light of your post here, you are saying that in general guys are trying to find the point of complete lack of head movement and that their LOT is really closer to where the tugback first lessens. Perhaps you could clarify by example. Suppose that I can first see tugback lessen at 10:00, but only have complete “motionless” head at 8:00. Would you say that my LOT would be: 8:00 ? 9:00 ? 10:00 ? I’m guessing from your new info that my LOT would be somewhere between 9:00 - 10:00. This is just an example, but probably fairly close to my actual measurement.

wesb,

Well, not really. What I am suggesting is that guys look at the entire unit, and not just the head. If they see a lessening of tugback, what is the reason? If they begin to see a weaker tugback, and the base is ‘flexing’, this is probably because the ligs are reacting to the PC, and this can pull a little on the outer tunica. In that case, I would say that is their LOT.

If they do not see a flexing at the base, then the outer tunica is probably still taking a significant amount of the kegal, and the ligs have not completely engaged. In that case, I would say they need to go lower to find their true LOT.

In your example, it would depend on where and if there was any flexing at the base.

LOT

I UNDERSTAND WHAT LOT IS. I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT EXERCISE TO DO TO FIX OR CHANGE MY NUMBER FOR THE BETTER. WHAT NUMBER IS IDEAL. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS. ALSO I AM NEW AND WOULD LIKE DEFINITIONS FOR ALL EXERCISES SUCH AS LIGS, HORSE, TUNICA ECT. WHERE CAN I FIND THESE.

Nerak, start with the Newbie Primer found here:

Most if not all of the answers you are looking for can be found either there, the PE FAQ (which is linked to in the Newbie Primer), or by using the search function. Also, please do not type in all capitals.

To answer your questions about LOT, I would say the "ideal" number is 11:00 or even 12:00 (the higher the better). However, most people’s LOT is not that high. To raise your LOT, you would want to do exercises geared towards stretching the tunica. Your LOT will raise as the distance between your pubic bone and the point at which the ligs attach is increased. Although this would tighten your ligs and in effect raise your LOT, there is no proof that this will enable you to get more lig gains. For all we know as of now, it might just mean you have to stretch your ligs again before you can acheive more tunica gains.

This is me in case you ever want to know what kind of psycho you're dealing with.

I’m not so sure I understand.

So you’re saying that the LOT is now the point at which you NO LONGER see the head get pulled back by the kegel, and just the base?

I guess that puts me at 8 or closer to a 9 o’clock LOT instead of my previously reported 6 o’clock.

This doesn’t make sense to me. Isn’t the grip that a person holds their head with while stretching out the dick (to check the LOT) a variable for whether or not they’ll see a tug back up at the head?

I really hope I didn’t waste all those weeks of only doing tunica stretches for nothing…

j384,

>So you’re saying that the LOT is now the point at which you NO LONGER see the head get pulled back by the kegel, and just the base? <

As you move the angle of stretch down, and continually kegal every few seconds, the point at which you no longer see a tugback is your LOT. If you see very little tugback, but rather a flex at the base, that is probably your LOT. IOW, disregard a small tugback caused by the ligs flexing.

>I guess that puts me at 8 or closer to a 9 o’clock LOT instead of my previously reported 6 o’clock.<

That is good.

>This doesn’t make sense to me. Isn’t the grip that a person holds their head with while stretching out the dick (to check the LOT) a variable for whether or not they’ll see a tug back up at the head? <

Only if you stretched soooo hard that the PC muscle cannot pull anything back at any angle. Or if you did not stretch hardly at all. Just pull out by the head enough to extend to about the maximum without straining too hard.

>I really hope I didn’t waste all those weeks of only doing tunica stretches for nothing…<

I doubt any type of upward stretching would be a waste. If anything, you possibly raised your LOT.
