To me the point of this split routine was to be enlarged most of the time. The reason for putting the jelqing session in the evening is that you then spend a whole night with erections running blood through it (whether you sleep or not).

Personally the cylinder and straight arm method gave me more stress (admittedly with some effort) but if it doesn’t work for you, then do whatever does I guess.

Hmm. Think something shaped like a Coke can (fuck). Place the can, or tub or whatever on a chair near the edge and between your legs. The can or tub or whatever should be resting on it’s curve on the chair (ie not end up) and then the penis is pulled over the tub or can or whatever so that when stretched a good portion of the penis is pushed flat to the can/tub surface and curved around it.

Mem,

Looks like a great routine. I have a few questions.

1) Can the morning and evening routines be switched? I find stretching more difficult in the
morning and jelqing more easy in the morning because testosterone levels are higher as is ease
of erection. Hard to stretch in the morn without getting hard ;)

2) How about other sources of heat, i.e. IR lamp or heating pad. Would this be the same as the
hot towel?

Thanks for the routine and any feedback you have.

You could switch. The important thing is what works for you.

I liked the evening jelqing because then I was getting erections afterwards and sleeping (with erections) which means more blood pumping around soon after the session. If you do it in the morning then you’re tucking your dick away for the day and blood flow will be less.

I tried a few different warm up techniques and imo nothing beats the moist heat from a facecloth. If you’ve really experimented with this and you think your method is better, I’m not going to argue with you but:

A lot of the stuff in this routine is not taking the easy route. Long hold stretches are tough, using a facecloth is not the most convenient warm up, hell wet jelqing is more messy than dry jelqing. I suppose you always have to ask yourself, are you doing something because it’s better or because it’s easier/less hassle.

Thanks Mem, got it now.

But what if I gain 2 inches in 6 months - then what will I spend my time on? What you’re saying is about like taking a mixer to your glass of egg toddy - effective as hell, but takes the fun out of the labor… ;)

(I think I’ll start as soon as I’ve gotten my 0.5” BPFSL from my LegXtender, so I can compare notes with mbuc on the effectiveness of the respective approaches.)

mem,
I tried your stretch routine only (so far), and I used a generic jar of lube - almost the same dimensions of your “pot.” The stretch was unreal, and yes demanding on the hands. I couldn’t last a full 20 minutes on my maiden voyage. But after the workout, I worked up wood and hit a post-PE BPEL above 8.

Question: You list the jelq times & stretch times….did you build up to those, or did you do those times consistently all throughout your cycle?

Thanks.

That’s a good question by wadzilla. Also, it is said that you’re supposed to stretch 7 days a week but seems like the 7 days applies to lig stretches and that tunica work needs 2 days off per week. I am just saying what “seems” natural but is it really true?

Wad,

Yes, it’s not a fluffy bunny routine is it.

It took me a short while to work up to those times. Perfecting a good grip that doesn’t impact on the wrist is quite hard.

I’m into yoga, and so I’m used to feeling my body and adopting a pose that means least work for maximum advantage. With this stretch, it’s important I think to keep the wrist straight but flexible, so that the power is directed through the shoulder, down the straight arm, through the wrist and into the stretch without overdue stress on the wrist. The grip is still the weakest point but comfort is definitely possible.

I think starting out on this routine building up is a good plan. I would judge the success of each session by:

* The actual feeling of each stretch. I think it’s quite possible to pull the same stretch 20 times and for only 50% of them to be truly effective. If after easing into a stretch it didn’t feel right or the grip was not good or I felt tension in the wrong places in my arm or wrist, I’d drop it and immediately correct that problem.

* The measurement taken after the routine. Like you I’m an inveterate measurer. It’s fairly easy after a number of days to see when a routine has been successful by measuring the immediate after session flaccid, imo.

* The length of time after the session that it took for the flaccid to become normal size again. I was somewhat limited in my ability to measure this always (real life interfering) but when I could I did.

* The feeling of having been stretched and how long after a session that lasted. Maybe not the best description but you know when you’ve been stretching how the effective work translates into the feeling of the penis afterwards.

I think if you can reach a consistent feeling of being worked with less time, all to the good. Effective PE is in my opinion little to do with the length of time it takes.

I also think the jelq portion of this routine is important.

Soon,

Who says you have to stretch 7 days a week? I know it’s the vogue in hanging to hang daily but personally I think rest days are important, if you’ve earned them :) You’ve got to earn them. By the time I reached the end of the week on this routine, I needed my rest.

I think rest is an important part of PE.

I’ve come to associate a slight tingly feeling in my shaft with growth. It’s nothing painful or distracting, just a nice tingle that makes me think something’s going on down there. Of course I could be totally wrong.

I mentioned above that I’m using A-stretches instead of inverted V-stretches in my variant of the routine. I’ve actually made a further modification that I think may be very helpful.

While doing a standard A-stretch, I push the stretch to one side so that one CC is stretched more than the other. Taking the right-hand grip as an example, I grip the shaft just below the glans with my right hand. Then I place my left wrist (palm down) under the ventral surface of my shaft and wrap my left hand up and over my right forearm, just above the right wrist. The resulting hand position allows me to both push down on the shaft with my right hand and pull up with my left wrist. Next, I push my right hand slightly to the left and pull in (adduct) my left leg slightly to concentrate the stress on the left side. I do this exercise while sitting on the edge of the toilet seat.

I find that the combination of pushing down with my right hand, pulling up with my left wrist, and pulling in with my left leg gives my shaft a great stretch throughout the left side of the tunica and all the way back to left ischiopubic ramus. I can actually feel the shaft stretching behind my balls. I hold the stretch for 30 seconds, then switch over and do the same thing on the other side. I alternate like this for approximately 20 minutes.

I think I’m continuing to make progress. Last week I reported a 1/8” BPFSL gain to 7 7/8”. I have certainly maintained this gain. In the last day or two, I’ve seen my BPFSL edge up very close to 8”. Let’s hope it continues. :)

I just popped a Cialis, so I’ll try to get a “best” BPEL measurement this weekend, which I will report back later.

Then it would never dissappear into the depths of this place :(

ModestoMan,

The A-stretch is I think a great newbie alternative to the stretch I described. It gives a good stretch with minimal effort but it doesn’t have the range of an effective upper body force bearing down on the penis.

It might be worth considering switching in the other stretch if your gains slow or stop.

Here’s the measurement: 7.25” BPEL by 5.95” EG. That’s 1/8” longer than my previous best. I had a very good pump with the Cialis when I took this measurement, but it was still something short of my very best erection. The only “cheating” involved in making the measurement was that the Cialis pushed my erection angle above 9 o’clock, so I pushed my shaft back down to 9 o’clock to complete the measurement in the same manner I’ve measured before. That’s not really cheating, IMO, just straightening so I could measure accurately.

Overall, I’m guardedly optimistic that this is a real gain. If I can beat that number in a month or two, I’ll know it’s for real.

Possibly, but I am creating a lot of stress with this stretch. I think this is because the wrist opposite the gripping hand pushes the mid-shaft up as the gripping hand pushes the glans down. The upward pushing is what really hits the “inner penis.”

Also, the isolation acheived by pushing the stretch to one side helps to focus the force from my hand/wrist/leg to one side of the tunica, achieving a sort of divide and conquer. Even though the force from this modified A-stretch might be somewhat less than that attainable from the inverted V-stretch, the fact that you’re applying the force primarily to one side of the tunica may produce equal or perhaps greater stress on the tissues.

The problem I’m having with the straight arm pushing technique that you described in connection with the V-stretch is that my wrist seems to be angled 90-degrees from its naturally straight position. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong, but I’m finding that this stretch puts a lot of stress on my wrist.

Actually, MM, that’s kind of what I was thinking when I switched in the A-stretch. The torque I can generate from a little ‘attempted’ supination is so much greater [and easier to hold] than what I can drive from a shoulder lock, although either way I find that I need a quick readjustment after five or so minutes [usually because I need a free hand for something else].
