PE Spreadsheet v0.0.5 beta release

PE Spreadsheet v0.0.5 beta release

At last, the first public release!

Background
I’ve been at work on a spreadsheet changing it over the course of approximately half a year though really only started taking it more seriously in the last month.
PE Spreadsheet 0.1 alpha
Do you use a spreadsheet for PE?
On spreadsheets, the poll & thoughts on usability and accessibility

As it stands the version is at 0.0.5 beta, which means it is out of alpha… So I would consider this fit for use on a daily bases if you’re comfortable around a spreadsheet as I don’t think there will be much more substantial revisions in the next year because other than some little things I don’t really care to work on it much more (maybe just 3 more options).

Requirements
The program required to use this file is Calc from a Office Suite known as Open Office which can be downloaded for free and offers 99.5% of what any Joe would need for most Word Document and Office Processing needs. It’s also Open Source (like Firefox) and runs on the three big OS’s (Windows, Mac and *nix). If you need something more you should seriously look into learning InDesign but that’s a tangent for another day. I tried exporting to an excel format but Microsoft Excel 2007 has issues with it and I hardly care to put that much time to hack away for a product I consider is fun. Someone can pay me a couple American grand though and I’ll be happy to support an xls format of this. I’d like to say though that this spreadsheet will always remain free to those who’d like to use it. I encourage people to go in and add what they want and post their changes so we can make an even better spreadsheet of tomorrow.

Reasoning behind using a spreadsheet
It should come as no surprise to those wondering why I’d be using a spreadsheet for this. To those who are relatively new to the world of spreadsheets, a spreadsheet is something that simulates a paper worksheet which helps organize and process information for easier understanding. Because we’re doing a lot of processing with penis sizes, statistics and goal setting it only makes sense that much of our information is consolidated into a spreadsheet. The beautiful thing is that spreadsheets can also have formula’s to help calculate things automatically, and the spreadsheet you see here is so chalk full of them doing most of work for you that you’ll be able to spend your time doing more important things like paying attention to your loved ones.. or one.

Some features are listed below, with just about all of them being automated by formula’s.

Summary Sheet:

  • Measurement stats: Starting measurements, average over a 90 day period and 45 day period. Total gains & amount of gains left to go until the next goal.
  • Goal Setting: 8 Years of possible goal setting with a place for general goal.
  • Goal Prediction: Average gains being achieved per day/week/month with needed gains per day/week/month to achieve that goal. Estimated completion date based on current average gains.
  • Comparative Statistics: View the median and average statistics of Thundersplace’s starting database and compare yourself by percentile.

Routine Sheet:
  • Supports up to 5 different routines: Enter in the name of your exercise along with the frequency and number of cycles/pressure and time per cycle (if applicable) to populate a routine based on both how long you’ve been doing PE and your PI’s.
  • View PI's: View your PI averages over the last 3/7/14/30 and 90 days.
  • See ahead.. and behind: View this month’s and last months schedule.

Routine Records Sheet:
  • Detailed records: Records are populated by the Routine created in the routine sheet and detailed for the next 5 years. Just enter in the PI’s you experienced for that day and freeze the data when you’re done and it’ll be set in history. If you altered your schedule for a particular day you can over-ride it here.

Size Records Sheet:
  • Measurements: Date, BPEL, AEG (Average Erect Girth) and notes.
  • ** More measurements will be in a future version.

I’m hoping to get people’s thoughts and opinions on this. I’m also secretly hoping for people to rip apart some of my formula’s and tell me what ended up calculating incorrectly ( if anything ;) ).

Most of all, I hope you enjoy it.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

That’s a serious amount of work. It’s worth downloading Calc, if you don’t have it, just to view this spreadsheet.

It would be nice to see people collecting this amount of data.

So, someone (2Big4u) mentioned in anther thread, that, basically.. it’s complicated. I mean most spreadsheets look freaking intimidating at first until you know where things are. And while I’ve done a lot to try and simplify it by keeping it as clean as possible and including a start page there is no hurting taking another look to see what I could do to make it even easier for those getting started with this truly massive thing.

The source of what he said is here, he did a spreadsheet too that’s worth checking out if you would like something simpler or something that works in excel:
2Big4u - Workout Routines for you guys

I’m trying to delegate conversation about this spreadsheet here and conversation about his spreadsheet over there. He’s also been kind enough to look at my spreadsheet and see what he can do to simplify it.

Startup “weight”:
From the viewpoint of starting with this spreadsheet, I took a tally on the things required to enter when you first start up and things needed to enter on a daily and weekly basis.

To initiate this spreadsheet to it’s fullness including 8 years of goal setting and a full 5 point routine it takes 49 entries, with 24 of those for the goal setting and 20 of those to the routine setting.

So yes, that’s a TON of entries for the worst case scenario with everything filled out, though you would really only need to fill out about a dozen things normally. When you get it rolling it’s really impressive with a matter of 1 value to enter per day if you follow the routine and 2 to 4 per/whenever you take your measurement. Within a month it would more than make up for itself. Still.. this got me thinking more about how to get the intimidation factor down.

A default for goal setting based on starting measurements and adding x and y values per year to the starting measurements and a default for a routine based on the newbie routine would account for a lot of people and would eliminate 44 of those entries for most people.
1 (routine), 2 to 4 (Size Records) = 3 to 5

Another thing is that I’ve done a bit to try and make different sections optional. An example of that is goal setting. In this sheet you can completely ignore that.. knowing that you can ignore it is another matter.

I smell this going into another revision by the end of the night.

How do you view it on a Mac?

BPEL (5") | 13 | 14 | 15 | 16 | 17 | 18 | 19 | *20cm* (8")

I’m currently using leopard on a MacBook Pro (intel) and Open Office 3 (the current release) which has worked out fine for me. If you have a mac with PPC architecture you can download version 2.4 and it should work (though I haven’t tested it). This program is an additional install from what comes as default.

When that is installed you should be able to unzip the file and open the ods document.

Need to take a look at this, sounds good!

Started: 15.5cm x 12cm, Now: 19.5cm x 13.3cm, Goal: 21cm x 15cm

I'm going to reach my goal, and there is no one who can stop me! Yes, I'm a persistent bastard :D

My Pictures! I am back baby, and I will hang out with my wang out!

>How do you view it on a Mac?<

Or dual boot you Mac with Linux and get Open Office installed by default.

Or Virtual Machine it with Linux or Windows

Or just get Linux.

Or do an SSH session with -X remotely on a *nix machine and run calc…

Or…

Really, the only reason why I use OS-X is because of Adobe and some other mac only things that I require on a daily basis to interpolate with other mac snobs in the industry. A day rarely goes by without thinking of Kate from KDE or the simplicity and control of things overall.

Working to change that. One day at a time.

Thank you!
I’ll have to play with it and alter it to fit my routines as I mostly hang and ADS.

Awesome, thanks for all of the work. I will definitely check this out later.

Triple boot with OO on all 3 OSes.

Length for show. Girth for "Whoa"!

NBPEL: Start: $1.50; Current: $1.75; Goal: $2

MSEG: Start: <TP Tube; Current: >TP Tube; Goal: >>PT Tube.

Well.. there’s another revision coming with a few fixes.

1. Initially setting it up is shorter: Just enter in your starting stats and adjust the routine and you’re done.
2. Added an ability to pick how much of an effect that your PI will have on different aspects of your routine.
3. Made a video.. can’t upload it though.

Jawbone, in the statistic. When did you create it, how do you up-date it? Did you just put all the starting measurements or? I found myself, so that’s why I’m asking :D

I wish I would have documented exactly what I removed and what I didn’t and when I got the statistics. I’ll try to answer based on what I remember though.

Creation Date: Mid November, 2008

What I removed:

  • Duplicate entries past the initial starting measurements for those with the same username.
  • Entries that had a girth less than 2 or greater than 9
  • Entries that had a length less than 1 or greater than 11
To repopulate it would be a matter of getting thunderplace’s username, erect girth and erect length statistics into a spreadsheet and copying it overtop of the first 3 columns in the Statistics sheet. Looking at the formulas to the right you’ll also want to update the last cell from 3848 to something larger.

Two new changes that will be made on the next revision, which you can wait for as well:

  • New, better documented statistics
  • Ability to repopulate the statistics without having to alter the formula’s
