The big penis and mens' sexual health source, increasing penis size around the world.
For organizational purposes:
Today we are adding;
[QUOTE=Para-Goomba]
- the one hand/two hand thing for jelq
- also the percentage erection for jelq
Were you referring to circumcision with your other comment? I will definitely add circumcision to the next revision, also.
Cool. Yeah. I’ll add a question about total time in break to the next revision (rather than just asking about number of extended breaks). I’ll also have to add something to tell retired PEers to take the whole survey with an eye toward their PE careers, from start to finish, but not including their post-retirement weeks/years in calculations.
Good idea. I think a subjective question like this would be most useful. Asking about the “average” weight the PEer used doesn’t seem as promising to me. The “max weight” question is probably our best objective indicator. I’ll add the subjective assessment to the next draft. I should probably also ask which exercises (from the whole list) the participant, himself, attributes his length and girth gains to most.
Also, if you can think of a better way to find to question about quality of erections and plateaus, let me know.

Spanish Translation:
I PMed the mod who translated my clamping 101 article, asking him if he would be willing to translate the survey.

Update on the Spanish Translation:
It looks very promising. The programmer agreed, that it is a good idea.
Additionally, mafero, a Spanish translating machine here at Thunder’s agreed to translate portions of the survey, and rally other Spanish translators — helping us gather more votes, more data, more research.

Notes for myself:
I’ll add a question about total time in break to the next revision (rather than just asking about number of extended breaks).I’ll also have to add something to tell retired PEers to take the whole survey with an eye toward their PE careers, from start to finish, but not including their post-retirement weeks/years in calculations of breaks and such.
- the one hand/two hand thing for jelq
- also the percentage erection for jelq
I will definitely add circumcision to the next revision, also.
- add degree of heat to jelqing, pumping, clamping
Section IV, q.10: One thing I changed on this question was the word “jelqing.” Jelqing could confuse the user — Unlikely, but possible. Instead, I used the words “exercise the penis,” and “penis exercises.”
add: 11. When you experienced a plateau, what was the status of your erection quality compared to your pre-PE erection quality?
__ When I hit a “plateau,” my erection strength was the same as it was before PE.
__ My erection quality was stronger during the time I experienced a “plateau,” than it was before PE.
__ My erection strength was weaker during the time I experienced a “plateau,” than it was before PE.
[NOTE TO PROGRAMER: Radio buttons: The first option should be coded as “0”; the second option should be coded as “1”; and the last option should be coded as “-1”]
- girth squeeze question change:
__ I squeeze the hell out of my dick; I squeeze about as hard as I can, to the point that it’s sometimes uncomfortable.
__ I squeeze with fairly high intensity, but never to the point that there’s any discomfort.
__ I squeeze with moderate intensity (i.e., with less intensity than the two categories above).
- include “penis enlargement pills” in the supplements section
Something along the lines of “What average weight, in pounds, do you believe brought you the best results when hanging?”
- separate” same size as” and “smaller than” for the flaccid change questions
Thank you for choosing to participate in the Thunder’s Place PE Survey!
Please try to answer the following questions as accurately as you can. If you have no idea about the answer to a given question — if, for example, you never took a starting girth measurement — please skip the question rather than guessing wildly. Use your best judgment about what degree of guessing would be appropriate (e.g., if you remember pumping for 6 to 8 consecutive weeks at one point, "7 weeks" would be a fine answer).
It is extremely important that you answer all questions truthfully. Even if you have lied about any of these matters in your posts at Thunder’s Place, please be honest in this survey. Your individual data will not be connected to your username in the analysis process.
[NOTE TO PROGRAMMER: If it's not too much hassle, you might consider including a preliminary question about whether the participant wants to take the survey using the English measurement system (inches, pounds) or the metric system the rest of the world uses (cm, kg). If this is done, answers in cm will have to be converted automatically (into the data spreadsheet) to inches. (I plan to do analyses in English measurements, since most members here use them.)]
Section I: Basic PE Outcomes
If you never took a particular measurement, please skip the relevant question.
1. What was your bone-pressed erect length before beginning any PE? ____ inches
2. What was your erect girth (circumference, not width!), measured at midshaft, before beginning any PE? ____ inches
3. What was your erect girth, measured at your thickest point, before beginning any PE? ____ inches
4. What is your current bone-pressed erect length? ____ inches
5. What is your current erect girth, measured at midshaft? ____ inches
6. What is your current erect girth, measured at your thickest point? ____ inches
7. How has your erection quality been affected by PEing? Please note that quality is not the same as angle. A man can have rock-hard, throbbing erections that point straight down (i.e., high quality, low angle), or, conversely, soft erections that point upwards (low quality, high angle).
__ Erection quality has gotten worse from PEing.
__ Erection quality has not been affected by PEing.
__ Erection quality has improved from PEing.
[NOTE TO PROGRAMMER: These should be radio buttons. The first option should be entered into the spreadsheet as "-1", the second as "0", and the third as "1".]
8. How much, if at all, has your flaccid size changed from PEing? Please do not consider "temporary" flaccid gains (e.g., a post-jelqing pump) when answering this question.
__ My flaccid size is smaller than it was before PEing.
__ My flaccid size is the same as it was before PEing.
__ My flaccid size is bit larger from PEing: occasionally, my penis hangs longer and/or heavier than it did before PE.
__ My flaccid size is significant larger from PEing: most of the time, my penis hangs longer and/or heavier than it did before PE.
__ My flaccid size is much larger from PEing: it almost always or always hangs substantially longer and/or heavier than it did before PE.
[NOTE TO PROGRAMMER: Radio buttons. Code the first answer as -1, the second as 0, the third as 1, the fourth as 2, and the fifth as 3.]
Section II: Your Basic PE Regimen
Throughout this and subsequent sections, the word "average" (or "typical") is used frequently. We recognize that there is tremendous variation in men's PE regimens over time. Please do the best you can to provide an arithmetic mean to those questions that call for an "average." For example, if you have spent half of your PE career doing 30 minutes of PE per day, and you have spent the other half doing 40 minutes of PE per day, then you have averaged 35 minutes of PE per day.
1. For approximately how many weeks total have you actively PEed? Please exclude breaks from this calculation. ____ weeks
2. Throughout your whole PE career, approximately how many weeks of break have you taken in total? If you are "retired" from PE, please do not include the weeks since you have quit in your calculation. (Retired PEers should also not consider their post-retirement time when answering later questions in this survey.) ____ weeks
3. How many days per week, on average, have you spent PEing during your phases of active PE (i.e., excluding your break weeks)? ____ days
4. How many minutes, on average, have you spent PEing on those days in which you have PEed? Please exclude rest time between "sets" of exercises from this calculation. Please also exclude time using an all-day stretcher (e.g., PE Weights) or mild traction device (e.g., Penimaster). ____ minutes
5. Which of the following exercises have been substantial components of your PE career? Please check all the apply. (An exercise can be considered a "substantial" part of your PE regimen if you have ever used it at least twice a week for at least two consecutive weeks.)
__ Jelqing
__ Manual Stretching
__ Manual Girth Squeezes (Horses, Uli’s, Jelq Squeezes, etc.)

Okay that’s the new version posted above. A few things:
1. I don’t know much about most PE techniques besides hanging. It would be nice to have feedback from clampers, squeezers, pumpers, stretchers, and so forth, to know if I have left out important variations in these exercises or have grouped exercises together inappropriately.
2. If we were ultra-anal about this, we would counterbalance the order of options within each multiple-choice question across participants, to check for order effects. I don’t think this is necessary, though, especially since we’re not asking for opinions here, but rather simple self-reports of what, factually, the participants have been doing with their PE.
3. Sorry, Remek, if my meaning of “evening” is different from yours :)
As always, great job PG. No problem about the time difference, I was just hoping for something a little earlier. Here is a few notes I took while making the interdependency map:
1) Regarding punctuated PE - the break question. Maybe we should have a code, or a question asking if the participant is retired from PE. If so, did he lose/gain anything after he retired?
2) Regarding Section II - Basic PE Regimen. Question 3 of the certain exercises asks: “3. How many minutes, on average, have you spent jelqing on days when it was part of your PE regimen? ____ minutes “
Is this question asking the average number of minutes during workout days? (i.e. if I worked out 3 days a week, 20 minutes a day, is it asking for 20 minutes as the answer or 8.5) If it is the later, which I am assuming, I think we should throw something in the question pointing that we are asking for the average number of minutes spent doing X on the days the user worked out his penis.
3) An idea for another injury question: Something along the lines of asking the user if he frequently hot-wrapped, and massaged his penis after the injury. This will help us build data regarding the healing process (i.e. does massaging and frequent hot-wraps allow quicker recovery and full recovery)

Wow. Impressive. One thought:
1) Regarding punctuated PE - the break question. Maybe we should have a code, or a question asking if the participant is retired from PE. If so, did he lose/gain anything after he retired?
We absolutely need to be able to distinguish retired PEers from active, but on break PEers. If post-retirement size changes are of interest, that should be explored in a seperate question.
Really looks great guys.

1. Yes, good catch: when I responded to your PM, I meant to say something about that — how my earlier comment about ignoring your post-retirement history wouldn’t hold true there. I’ll do something about that when it’s on Wiki, or you can (just note what you do). We still just want to ask about their longest time off from PE, but that could include post-retirement, if that’s their longest break. We don’t need a separate code or checkbox for retired PEers here, in my opinion.
2. I thought that question was pretty clear. I changed it from the earlier phrasing of “how many minutes per day, on average, have you Xed during your active PEing” because that wasn’t what we wanted to know — we don’t want the participant to include days he didn’t X at all in his calculations. We want the product of the weeks, days, minutes questions to give us an estimate of total time doing X. This will only work if they only give the minutes for the days that they actually did X.
3. All right, we can add that. Good idea!
Here is the interdependency map. This is a rough draft of the analyses that will take place after the results are in. I have never created an interdependency map before, so if I missed anything, let me know.
Some parts might be vague, but remember this is a basic outline of what we will be analyzing once the results are in. This is not a pre in depth analysis. Many tests, analyses, and data will come from the survey, and it will take time to analyze the results.
Additionally, I was not 100 percent sure of how some of the questions will be used in the analyzing process. Feel free to edit or add to the interdependency map.
Application = How the question will be used in the analyzing process
Connection with = the other questions that the particular question will have a relationship with (i.e. the gains question and its correlation with the masturbation question).

If post-retirement size changes are of interest, that should be explored in a seperate question.
Why? What’s the difference between a PEer who has been on break for 12 weeks, and a PEer who has been retired for 12 weeks? In either case, we see what size loss, if any, occurred during the break from PE.
Thank you for your willingness to try out wiki. I am getting a headache trying to keep it updated with your fast turn-overs ;) Also, like you said, if you update something just post it here, so we all know what changes are taking place.
When I read it, I become a little confused. Maybe it is just me.
3. All right, we can add that. Good idea!
Good Good. I am going to start PMing some guys now, having them taking a look at the survey.

Maybe it’s not important. But it seems to me that a retired PEer is an apple and an active PEer on break is an orange. Maybe not. Just seems like the kind of distinction that could get fuzzy down the line if we don’t take steps to insure that it doesn’t become that way. Just an idea.

Thanks for the heads-up Xeno. We’ll have to be careful that that question is clear.
And Remek, the survey-taker is, of course, the sole arbiter of a question’s clarity. So if anyone else shares your confusion about the “minutes per day of doing it” questions, we will have to revise those.
