Why? I mean when I came to this site I thought most guys would be smaller than average. That’s why they wanted bigger ones. If I was a guy who liked big breasts, I wouldn’t necessarily hang out on sites with girls with small breasts trying to make their breasts bigger.

Well, first a sample size of 2 is hardly going to be representative of anything.

Second, I think women who frequent a site like this are very likely to be more “penocentric” than the average women. I believe the average women really doesn’t give a shit about penis size unless it is really big or really small, in which case it is less desirable. And I believe that women who are more penocentric than average tend to prefer significantly larger sizes.

If we go by the most common “agreed to” size numbers of 5.9” mean length and 0.8” Standard Deviation, 8” BPEL is 2.625 SD above the mean.

2.567SD equates to 0.5% above and 0.5% below the SD measures.

Out of the overall population, men who are longer than 8” BPEL are likely to occur less then 1 in 200.

I’ll take some time to do a mean and SD with Thunder’s Place pre PE survey and give numbers for that next.

Just finished with the pre-PE length numbers, I used the table posted by trips on page 12.

Using the middle of each measurement band (ie. 4.125” for 4”~4.25”) the arithmetic mean is 6.242” with a 0.82” SD.

Using the lower bound for each band (ie 4” for 4”~4.25”) the arithmetic mean is 6.17” with a 0.82” SD.

Based on the sample provided by Thunder’s Place, the 5.9” Average 0.8” SD BPEL numbers are supported.

The 1/4” - 1/3” diference in the average length between the commonly cited 5.9” and the Thunder’s Place 6.24” or 6.17 “is easily attributed to either self-measurement bias, or a small sample bias.

Of interest is that the Kinsey study used self measurement, and ended up with almost exactly the same measurements as Thunder’s. 3500 subjects as a sample size, and a mean length of 6.21”. (Thunder’s 6.17”-6.24”)

The Kinsey study supports the probability that measurement bias contributes to the longer arithmetic mean BPEL for the Thunder’s Place and Kinsey studies, as opposed to the professionally measured average length of 5.9”.

Maths doesn’t lie.

With Thunder’s Place study numbers of BPEL 6.24/0.82 SD (likely skewed by self measurement bias as described by my post above):

8"+ is 2.15 SD above the mean.

At only 2 SD above the mean, the value is 2.25%, 2.15 SD makes the percentage even smaller.

8 NBPEL or more is under 1%.

Did you actually tell her you were big? I would have maybe hinted at the fact that you might be big, then when she saw it she’d be in for a surprise (surprise that you’re big, not small)… but if she happens to think you’re not massive then no big deal.

Anyway, all you can do is do it and see what happens… I’m sure it’ll be fine. She sounds amazing by the way… exactly my type.

Also, I don’t think they were lying… I mean it IS possible. They didn’t just say it out of nowhere… we were talking about it (I probably brought it up, lol) and they seemed honest. These weren’t girlfriends… just one night stands so I didn’t care. This one girl talked about this guy who was just apparently so incredibly massive that she wouldn’t have sex with him. Could have been made up, but it was just a regular discussion so I think it was true.

Because I’m fascinated that someone can be so unbelievably obsessed and devote literally ~90-95% of his posts to statistics about average dick size while his starting size is over 8”x6” and whenever I see his name, I think to myself “Wow, what new and revolutionary did he found out now?”, get it? :p

At first I didn’t mind, but now it’s downright (excuse the language, but I’m sure ThunderSS won’t mind) annoying the fuck out of me.
