hey guys,

i know some of you weill say its a marathon not a sprint etc.

but im having some seriously mental issues with doing this…i have been at it for about 4 months now….jelqing, hanging, clamps sometimes everything and im not seeing any results i vary technique to get the right feel i read on here a ton i listened to suggestions and i watched videos. but im not seeing any change i have been hanging @ 10lbs 3x20 with 10 min rest in between i have tried 5 on 2 off 1 on 1 off 2 on 1 off and everything in between been hanigng now for about 2 1/2 months. im not someone who expects a inch in 3 months but when you put in hours a day to this im sure you can all sympathize that you should see SOMETHING and have that motivate you to keep going but after this amouint of time and no change i gotta be honest its very discouraging to keep this up. any thoughts or suggestions? hopefully constructive?

4 months. If your stats are accurate, you actually gained something - 0.125 in length and 0.2 in girth. That is something.

In 4 months you tried too many things IMHO. If you have been on hanging for 2.5 months, you have been on the newbie routine for 1.5 months at max.

So I think you should stick to a very simple routine for at least three months before adding any new exercise or trying anything new. You can add JAI stretches to the newbie routine for the sake of variety.

BTW, abide to the grammar rules please - ‘I’ not ‘i’ when speaking of yourself etc..

I think you should try getting a pump. If you get one from LA Pump and you get it according to the right size you are, you should see some benefits. That is my humble opinion

What marinera said was a good point. You need to stick to a routine for a couple of months in order to see the effects. If you are new, stick to the newbie routine for 6-12 months, I would suggest. If no gains or no improvement at all, then it would be a great idea to change the routine.

Stick to a routine otherwise you will never realise its potential. Gains are often just round the corner, so be patient. And by the way, the gains you have made already are pretty good, something to be proud of!

Did you get newbie gains from the newbie routine?

Don’t give up man. Just keep on searching for the right routine to do! You’ll get it eventually!

It appears to me that you may have overtrained your unit.

I have hit a plateau that has lasted six months or more and I have a hard time resting from PE and so I understand your frustration.

I did get a good inch of length before plateauing though, so I am grateful for that.

The newbie routine, which I ignored when I first started, allows the beginner the time learn the ropes and get accustomed to stressing the unit without sending the penis into distress, thickening and eventually resistance, which can take a long time to recover from. (Possibly months if not longer) and so it’s important for the beginner to take the baby steps until growth stops, and only then look to more radical approaches.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

4 months into pe and no gains? Give up its a waste of time to put in those hours like the rest of the members here who have done pe for hundreds or a 1000+ hrs

Dude, just do newbie for a year and then complain and try other things if you must. Why the heck are you hanging right away?
