Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

Interesting. Can you post the ingredients in the aloe vera gel?

Hobby,
I buy Fruit of the Earth 100% Aloe Vera gel at Walmart and it has Aloe Vera Gel and a few preservatives. Nothing more.

Here’s the ingredients for the CVS brand since I found it’s ingredients online. It’s probably the same thing.

Aloe Vera Gel; Triethanolamine; Tocopheryl Acetate; Carbomer 940; Tetrasodium EDTA; DMDM Hydantoin; Diazolidinyl Urea

Aloe vera by itself doesn’t cause irritation. I used to apply it straight from the plant to cuts and scrapes.

I did a quick search on those other ingredients. Triethanolamine and Carbomer 940 are used together to make a relatively neutral gel. Link . Tocopheryl acetate is vitamin E. The rest are preservatives.

It’s odd that a gel intended to be soothing would cause irritation, especially bad enough to make the skin peel. Maybe babiesaredumb is particularly sensitive to an ingredient. Or maybe he has a screwed batch with an out of whack pH.

Well it has blemish healing properties because it causes the skin to peel to leave new skin. The reason why it burns is because I usually always have a few knicks. I have some mad tough hands and my lil bff sometimes gets roughed up. I’ve applied the aloe vera for 2 nights in a row, and it’s already starting to dry out.

Scrub your lil buddy with some hot water and a washcloth to remove all excess dirt and any dead skin cells. Then apply the aloe vera all over. Make sure you apply no lotion or moisturizers while using aloe vera. Do this a few nights in a row if you want. It should begin to dry out and peel in less than a week.

Just a guess, but the scrubbing of your penis with hot water and wash cloth — to the point of removing dirt and dead skin cells — for a few nights in a row may, in itself, be the cause of your peeling. The salycitic acid will produce an actual chemical peel, as opposed to what I am surmising is a tramatized, dried out skin peel. It is dramatic, going through different stages, and resulting a really dark brown skin sluffing off (see Hobby’s earlier post to a site showing an example, albeit on someone’s face rather than a penis. Another difference in these applications is that I am guessing that the aloe vera is not causing the trauma to the glans (since you are leaving it on the whole area for nights), whereas the salycitic acid must not touch the glans — big problems would be my guess.

If this worked for you, more power to you. I again stress that anyone who uses the chemical peel (salycitic acid) follow the directions. I had real dark and pronounced discoloration, and the peel I did removed several layers of skin, by my observation and supposition. But, again, I used it much longer than was recommended. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS if you use this stuff.

BTW Hobby, and any others interested, I really think my medium (or deep) peel has continued to effect the diminshing of henosiderin depoists that remained. Every day it looks fainter on the small remaining portion (lower portion of the circ scar). Maybe the one (over) application is all it will take for a complete removal. I’ll post later as this continues to develop.

I would like to take the time to iterate that aloe vera gel (or juice) IS NOT an agent which promotes the peeling of the skin. Quite the opposite. It is a nutritive tonic to the skin which will in no way cause your skin to peel. It’s action is actually as a vulenary (wound healing agent) when applied topically- hence, it’s use for cuts, burns, scarring, and sunburns. It’s useage for these types of small, topical injuries has been well documented. It abates infection, hydrates, has a subtle antibiotic affect, and, well, kicks ass.

I’ve used it for years both internally and externally and have never witnessed a “peeling affect”- nor have I ever heard one reported prior to babiesaredumb despite years of reading herbal journals and using this particular herbal medicine as a daily tonic.

If the “peel” actually occured then it was likely the result of an alergic reaction to one of the ingredients or a “bad batch” as mentioned previously. I’d expect pure aloe vera gel (i reccomend “lily of the valley” organic 100% gel) to cause your skin to peel about as much as I’d expect goldenseal to make you levitate.

I think alffie hit the point, when my face would peel, it was usually after a hard scrub, I’d then apply it, and it’d continue to dry up and eventually peel off. Is drying out the skin type peel safe?

it would also be extremely raw and i think that’s what caused the aloe vera to make it burn.

Dude, sorry I cannot definitively answer your question as to safeness (I am assuming you are asking will it scar you or otherwise affect your skin). My thought is that while the skin is generally very resilient and “forgiving”, I would not push it with the scrubbing on your penis. If you are trying to remove existing scars and stretch marks, I think the trauma you are inflicting with the scrubbing will only exacerbate the problem. I would leave it alone for a while and see what happens. If it does not correct itself, I would see a dostor.

While you do not suggest the use of salycitic acid for your problem (and I am not sure what it is you are trying to correct) in your posts, I certainly do not think this would be an option for you. If what you are trying to correct is scarring or stretch marks, I think it would be a terrible choice, since it only removes the upper layer(s) of skin, allowing the lower layers to move up and become the new upper layers. If you have scar tissue, there is nothing to bring to the top but scar tissue. It could even be worse. The sites I have “researched” even say that peels are not a solution for scars — I think they only work on normal skin.

I have had the stretch marks before and solved them by some means I really don’t remember. At first I was scared that it when I realized it started to peel, but then afterwards I was glad. My johnson was pretty raw, I added aloe vera to help moisturize it, it only made it more dry. I then added this “triple antibiotic ointment” which was supposed to help keep it from drying and stop the cracking. It then peeled and left clean skin underneath. This time when I tried it, the aloe vera dried it out, and some raw areas did dry up and flake away. I added the “triple antiobiotic ointment” again but this time it just caused my foreskin to swell. It burns itches like a mother. I’m really pissed because instead of this causing a nice peel, I’m left with a now half ass dry itchy dick.

I’m not 100% what caused the initial peeling, I would often dry jelq and not moizturize and I have extremely rough hands. I’m only trying to remove the stretch marks and other red areas caused by my hands. It’s a pretty ugly dick and I’ve been using petrol jelly, but not when I stretch or masterbate. I just want to skin to peel like it did the first time. I was so happy then.

what about if acne drying medication was used. Some “clean and clear” I wash my face with that in the shower and it easily could of dried my buddy out. would that be healthy, just drying it out to the point of a peel? The reason why I’m so interested in this is because this is the only negative part of PEing. The only other small problem is the hair crawling up the shaft which can be fixed with stretching the skin more, but this just leaves even more stretch marks. I guess i’ll just leave it alone for 3 days and then try the acne medication… I have caused it to peel before with satisfactory results, I just need to somehow repeat them.

Also, wear workout gloves if you PE

Dude try the strongest anti-yeast OTC med you can find. I tried some cuz I was lucky enough to get a “dose” of yeast some years back (itched like a mofo and made the skin all crack and nasty- hurt) and the med really dried things up. I think if you lather it up with that stuff for a week or two straight you’ll peel.

Dude, I would wait more than three days. IMHO I would wait at least a couple of weeks — no PE and no masturbatation. Just see what happens. Before you start putting chemicals (acne medication or other “remedies”) on your “friend” I would do a lot of web “research”. Hobby really thought this out and did much research before he messed with his penis. So did Huff and the others. I combed over the web a lot before I used my steps. You need to figure out what the likely outcomes and draw backs are to what you are getting ready to do. If you wait a while, with no messing with it, it might fix a lot of your problems. I think you are a young guy, which is cool — lots ahead of you — so you should not do something that may mess up your member for the many years it will be with you, IMHO. Go slow.

Has anyone tried sandpaper?
