Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

I’d like to praise everyone who put their penises on the line to solve this bothersome problem. I thank you all, especially Hobby.

I will be starting the process detailed in this thread in the coming weeks. I’m a type 4 skin, a little different from you guys, but I hope it turns out ok. I am unbelievably relieved that someone found a solution to this damned skin discoloration. I stopped PEing about a year ago hoping that it would dissipate with time. Unfortunately, little improvement was seen. Now that I have found this thread, I’m much more optimistic about my little partner. I want him back the way he was before! I will keep you guys updated on my progress.

Good luck. Be sure to post your experience/results.

Ok, I just did a sample area just now- about 1/2’ X 1’ strip. I didn’t know how much of the stuff to put on, but I think I put too much on. The pain was quite intense; after about 3 mins I had to run my penis under cold water. How bad was the burning sensation for you guys on a scale from 1-10. 1 being perfectly fine and 10 being “I just passed out from the pain and my penis exploded”? My God did it hurt though. Ok, so theres this white coating on my penis now. Suppose to be normal right? The coating is actually quite thick. From what I read on this thread it’s suppose to turn back to normal skin color, then some nasty black, then shed. Correct me if I’m wrong.

My weapon of choice: Compound W (brush included!)
Ingredients: alcohol, camphor, castor oil, collodion, ether, ethycellulose, hypophosophrous acid, methol, polysorbate, and of course salicylic acid 17%.

I’ll report back in a few hours on the condition it’s in.

Ok nm that white coat was the the wart remover stuff. *Punches self in head and runs to bathroom to wash off*

Now I have a very thin white coating on my penis skin.

Yeah, it stings during the burn. Hard to say where on a pain scale because it is only skin. At least the pain doesn’t last long.

It’s been about 7 hours since my initial burn. The swelling has gone down and the area has turned very dark. The texture to the affected skin doesn’t seem to be any different from the rest of my skin, and it doesn’t look like it will peel, but I’m going to wait and see. Is the darker skin suppose to have a different texture? Other than the fact it’s darker, it feels pretty healthy.

Hey Hobby, how long did the burning sensation last when it was on your skin? For me, after the first 20 sec it got pretty intense and lasted for the rest of the time. I thought the pain would subside a little, but didn’t, so I panicked a little and washed it after 3 to 4 mins.

Hey, I read upthread about using Retin A if you have access to it…and I do. But I didn’t see any actual results. Anyone actually use this, and how did it work?

HalfRusski 07-26-05 - BPEL 5.90", EG 5.0" 11-16-05 - BPEL 7.45", EG 5.625" Weather report - snow (what did you expect?!) What is a nice guy from Louisiana doing in a place like this?

Mine took days to turn dark brown. The texture changed before the peeling began. It’s a layer of dark, dry dead skin, sort of like a dead skin condom I guess. I tried to keep it moisturized, usually by applying Vaseline a few times daily.

Yeah, the stinging quickly built and then stayed at near that intensity until I wiped off the wart remover under cool running water. The pain stopped immediately after washing it off.

HalfRusski- Retin A didn’t work for me, I used it for a couple months with no improvement.

Hobby, I apologize for all the questions. But is it necessary to use a AHA lotion during the process because I’m not using one. I believe you used one, if I’m not mistaken. Can that stuff be obtained over the counter? If it can which brand did you use? Thanks.

I used it on my face years ago. I doubt it will do much for discoloration compared to chemical peeling.

No, it isn’t necessary and probably didn’t do any good. I only used it immediately after the burn, not in the following days. Later I did burns without it and got the same results.

So is the skin suppose to change texture, then turn brown? Or is the skin suppose to turn brown, then change texture? Because my skin right now is a dark dark brown, but it’s really smooth and feels like the untreated areas.

This bothers me a bit. Oh well, if in 4 days my skin hasn’t changed texture or started shedding I’m going to.well.it’s going to suck a lot.

Mine was usually slightly darker/redder immediately after a burn, but close to normal. The texture only changed later, before the peeling began. Don’t worry, the skin will peel. Just be patient and take good care of it. Later, don’t pick at the peeling skin or you’ll damage the tender new skin underneath.

Thanks for your help hobby; it put my mind to ease a bit. I think I’m going to avoid my penis for a few days; try not to look at it. It stresses me out too much.

I am scared shitless right now. I keep reading through this thread, and doing a little research about the after effects of the chemical peel.

I am not experiencing the same things you guys are. For instance my skin never changed back to normal color after the burn, it turned a nasty brown immediately after I did the burn and has stayed that way. And it seems everyone posted that the skin hardened. My skin really really doesn’t look like it’s going to peel or harden for that matter. I think the nasty brown develops because it’s going to harden soon or peel off. I think I royally fucked up my penis really bad. I will have an embarrassing talk with my dermatologist soon. This is really really bad.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!
