Just wanted to get out ahead of this one; any of you watch Game of Thrones?
In the most recent episode a guy rewards his life saving virgin squire with a 1/2 day excursion to the best cat house in the world. After getting to know a number of the ladies the young fellow returns to his boss along with the bag of gold given in payment. The ladies enjoyed them selves so much that they refused payment…

Another proof that women enjoy more than just a penis. The boy is cute, compared to all the older men.
And I could be wrong about the size. But they are certainly setting it up that way.

That, or he’s got some serious skills already. Seeing as Tyrion and Bronn wanted him to spill the beans right away.

Word, word and word.
I haven’t seen any reference to this article in USA Today, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 on page 6d. So here is the title. The Long and Short of Male Attractiveness. Reported by Dan Vergano @dvergano I’d like to see Thunder’s and others’ response.
He is a young Padawan! He may be on the happy side but apparently nothing out of the ordinary. It is going to be down to empathy, endurance, and innate talent.

Many of us probably don’t have access to USA Today, but could it be an article be about the study where women looked at simplified models of men with varying height, shoulder width, flaccid penis size etc? That study seems to have been reported widely in all kinds of media. There’s a thread about it here. Make my day! There’s also a link to a video on it in the first post on this page.
Wrong thread.
There’s an episode of the NBC show Las Vegas where the whole side plot is that one of the guys keep getting mistaken for a stripper with a big dick. The women have a flyer for strip club or something and one of the guys on it looks exactly like one of the other cast members, and they draw the conclusion that he has a huge dick based on the bulge in the picture, I guess. He starts getting hit on by women a lot. One of them even keeps looking down at his crotch while talking to him, and one woman who’s a fan (of the stripper) and who had groped him during a show, tells him “it feels bigger than it looks” and invites him to her hotel room. The guy gets tired of not being believed when he says he’s not the stripper, so he says he’ll prove it by having some of the women meet him in a hotel room. The one he’s talking to says she’ll bring a measuring tape. When they get there, it turns out he has invited the stripper, who’s dancing around in a speedo with a bunch of women around him. The scene ends with the women pulling out the measuring tape and moving forward as if they’re actually gonna measure the guy.
It’s definitely one of the more explicit “most women are basically unabashed size queens” things I’ve seen on tv, but I guess it was in line with the tone they seemed to be going for with that show, where everything is just ‘cool and lighthearted and sexy’.
I’m glad I came across this thread. I read through the whole thing last night and agreed with a lot of the comments presented here. This is something I have been dealing with for a long time too. Especially the Short Dick Man song. I don’t think anything has had as big an impact on my life as that song.
There are a few things I wanted to comment on after reading this thread hopefully I can remember them all.
First off regarding the use of the phrase "size matters" in the media and advertising I think it might be one of those things where it effects people differently depending on where you’re coming from. For example a woman who has small breasts might see a poster using that phrase and for her it might seem like it’s referring to breast size. A short man in height might think it’s referring to his height. For those of us who are insecure about penis size it means one thing. However I think in our society anyway the phrase has become attached primarily to penis size. I think if you went up to 100 people in the street and asked them "If I say the phrase "size matters" to you what do you assume I am talking about?" I think the majority would say penis size.
What I’ve never been able to understand is the rational many women have that because they are subjected to comments or images that make them feel insecure that makes it OK to make fun of guys with small dicks. I’ve asked women who have made this claim , how do they know it’s guys with small dicks that are saying or doing these things? What if it’s guys with big dicks that demean women and make rude comments about their bodies? Shouldn’t they be ridiculing them for revenge?
It’s like Mr Big Dick says something mean to you so you get revenge by ridiculing Mr Small Dick. It makes no logical sense. I’ve tried to get women to tell me where they come across these comments. I have never witnessed a man ridiculing women because of something she has no control over but I guess it does happen. They even say they hear it in songs all the time. So I’ve asked them to name these songs but I usually get no reply or some crap about rap songs.
I’m sure high school boys do make comments about girls breasts and I’m sure women come across assholes who have a cruel streak. I don’t see it in the media the way guys are subjected to small dick jabs. There are numerous examples that have been posted here of movies, TV shows and songs where small dicks are demeaned. Anyone want to make a similar list where breasts are demeaned? I can only think of one time I witnessed that.
I keep hearing about these pressures that society puts on women.I’m not sure exactly what these pressures are. Sure being attractive is rewarded in society but that goes for men too. Do you see women swooning over average looking guys? No. Weight, sure a nice fit body is a good thing to have but that also goes for men. You think many women would choose a chubby guy over a fit tanned guy with six pack abs? Women are just as hard if not harder on fat guys as men are on fat women. It only seems like women get more pressure from society but only because they talk about it a lot more. Women have countless talk shows and magazines to talk about all the "pressures" put on them. When do guys get to discuss it?
What has surprised me over the years is the age that girls start thinking about penis size and even commenting on it. I was once approached by two very young girls who, out of the blue informed me that they wanted to "get my willy out and measure it". My jaw nearly hit the floor. WTF? And my niece who was about 8 years old at the time asked me right in front of my sister "uncle G____ do you have a big willy or a little one?" she didn’t get an answer. Look at some of the girls who have made You tube videos singing to the Short Dick Man song, it’s ridiculous. Some of them look like they’re 12, 13 or 14 years old. They probably haven’t even seen a penis yet and already they’re being taught to ridicule the small ones. I’ve heard girls say that their mom used to listen to that song all the time when they were young. I’m also dumbfounded by how much these women love this song. Check out this women singing it at a karaoke. Listen to the women in the background. They sound like they’re having the time of their lives.
Can you imagine if you were a guy who is insecure about his size and you go out for a drink with friends and you’re confronted with this? I don’t see where women are subjected to this stuff.
I wish someone could explain to me what is so funny about that song. I don’t get it.
I think with a generation of girls growing up thinking it’s OK to make fun of guys with small dicks I can’t see things going to well for boys with small dicks who are growing up in this shit. It’s no wonder the suicide rate for boys is four times that of girls.
Women don’t really seem to understand what a penis means to a guy (well some of us anyway). A lot of women will try to assuage insecurities with the old "it’s not how big it is it’s how you use it" or "the G spot is only 3 inches inside the vagina" stuff. It’s all about the act of sex itself. What they fail to grasp is that a mans penis doesn’t disappear when he’s not having sex. It’s there 24/7. It’s a part of what makes you a man. It’s pretty much the only thing men have that women don’t. All these comments have an effect even if they are only meant as jokes.
I’ve come across many examples of what the OP is looking for but I deleted most of them here is a couple I didn’t see going through this thread.
There’s a British movie called Wilt where the title character has a small dick and his wife tells her best friend who then rags him about it through most of the movie. The two women fall out by the end of the movie and her friend says something like "well at least I don’t have a husband with a small penis"
A 1992 movie called Waterland Jeremy Irons plays a teacher recalling stories about his youth. His crush with a pretty young lady who sees him and his friends skinny dipping one day and becomes enamored with his friend/brother (I can’t remember) because of his big penis. Later in in an intimate moment she comments on how small he is and tells him that she slept or tried to sleep with the other guy but he was too big for her.
I used to have the clip from the movie Whipped where Amanda Peet is telling her friends about the guy who had a tiny dick. "It was all tip and no shaft" she says as her friends burst into laughter.
In the TV series The Girl’s Guide to Depravity there’s an episode where one of the girls tries to hook up with a sexy waiter at a restaurant only to find he doesn’t measure up so she bails on him. Of course any show about or by women is at some point going to point out how bad small dicks are and how good big ones are.
What I really hate is guys who are real jerks and have small dicks. This gives women the go ahead to ridicule his small dick and the rest of us by osmosis. As in this TV show where a real jerk strips off in front of a bunch of women who then let it rip. The link show some screenshots of some of the comments made.

Warning it’s a really bad show.
When I was living in England in the 90’s there was examples of this shit almost weekly. I remember a TV show that was aimed at the bawdy young women types. They had an audience of mostly young women and did live stuff plus showed filmed clips. One segment they did was about a woman who was famous in the 60’s and 70’s for making plaster molds of rock stars dicks. She had a whole collection of them. The interviewer asked if anyone had ever refused to let her do a mold of their penis and she said yes but it was usually guys with small ones. At which point the audience began howling with laughter.
Here’s the scene from UK Big Brother where they humiliate the guy on live national TV. I hate this clip. I hate to watch it. I don’t know which I hate more what they did to him or the way he pretends he doesn’t know what they are talking about. I know he must have felt embarrassed but why pretend you don’t know what a penis is. Why not just ask her "why are you ridiculing me on live TV?"
More penis size "comedy"
I’ll see if I can find more.

I think its feminist media teaching culture to behave this way. I don’t think that women as individuals are hostile sexually, it just seems to be a programming.
Though there are individual women who think and act that way, and manipulate by intimidation.
Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.
As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.
Going for the magic 8"x6"
I was going to post about the Game Of Thrones reference - I love how they subverted our expectation by having Ros tell Varys that he was “no bigger than usual”. Clearly, it’s what you do with it that counts!
What has surprised me over the years is the age that girls start thinking about penis size and even commenting on it. I was once approached by two very young girls who, out of the blue informed me that they wanted to “get my willy out and measure it”. My jaw nearly hit the floor. WTF? It’s not quite as crazy as your experiences, but this made me think of the first time me and some my classmates decided to try and have a sort of party. We were around 11/12 years old and only 3 guys and 2 girls. After a little while the girls handed each of us a piece of paper with “cm” written on it, and we were supposed fill in how long our dicks were.
I didn’t think to much of it back then, but later I thought it was such a weird thing for two perfectly normal and ‘innocent’ 11/12 year old girls to do. It basically seemed like something they had planned in advance. But I guess it’s exactly the sort of thing young, ‘clueless’ girls are curious about. They were probably more interested in our sizes on a general level (“how big are boys our age”) rather than interested in our sizes particularly.
I agree that girls are being ‘taught’ that size is important before they have any experience themselves. When every penis size reference in any movie, joke, song etc is based on “big=good, small=bad”, they pick up on that just like boys do. It gives big dicks a sort of status that go beyond the bedroom and the actual practicalities of sex. Before, you could argue that boys got their size anxiety from porn (it seems to be a very popular explanation for the whole thing), but these days with the net, the difference in porn consumption is much smaller, which I’m guessing could alter some girls’ expectations around size quite a bit.
As for the double standards in what it is ok to say about the other gender’s genitals in public, I just view that as a part of a host of double standards between the genders in general. But I think it’s important to not generalize too much, as there are plenty of women with some sensitivity around the issue, too.
