Okay so first of all I don’t think my glans is 5” around.. It’s difinately smaller than my shaft.. An increase in circumference of 0.75” wouldn’t be bad, but what about length gains?

You think an increase of let’s say 0.5” in glans length is possible too??
Combined with the girth increase the difference would be much more visible; in that case I’d consider having it done.

Opinions? Info?

Let me clarify something,
The glans will not increase in length. The grafts are only put 1/3 the way up the glan. This causes the coronal ridge to “flare” out more.

What if injected with hyaurolic acid? (Not sure if that’s spelled right)

Some “length” may be possible with the injectable, but certainly not .5”. The injectable doesn’t last that long either. If your looking for a serious glan girth gain you’d have to consider multiple procedures.

thanks for setting up this mini forum. The links to the sites is invaluable in my opinion. It is very helpful to a guy like me that is looking for length gains. One of the sites talks about 1” average length gains hard and flaccid. So $5,000 for an inch. Is it worth it? To me it is. I dont have the time or the patience to try to eek out another inch in the next whatever amount of time. I know that hanging/stretching will still be part of the afterlife.

I will be contacting the length doctors over the next couple of months to help me with my decision.

Thank you for the appreciation. Let me know how your search develops over the next few months, and I’d gladly let you in on my knowledge of the surgeon you choose. I know at least a couple of guys that have had the surgeries with each of the recommended surgeons.

So far, most of the discussion on here has been of girth enhancement procedures; I’m less familiar with surgeries to increase length. Pubic liposuction and cutting the suspensory ligament are the ones I’ve heard of. What other procedures are out there? Anyone want to share their success stories?

I had the length and fat transfer sugery done by Dr. Guinta back in 1997. I didn’t gain much length because he didn’t stress the importance of weights after surgery. A lot of the fat was re-absorbed by my body and I was left with a lumpy penis. I went back to Dr. Guinta and had him take out the remaining fat. He got most of it out but I still have a few lumps along the the shaft of my penis. You can’t really tell unless I point it out to you, but I would like it removed anyway. I am thinking about having the length procedure done again by a different surgeon. Do you know if this is something I can do again? This time I will dedicate the amount of time needed for the post op weight traction.

Also, how long does the hyaurolic acid injection last in your glands and what kind of gains can you expect with this procedure?

Have you tried hanging in your routine already? My understanding is the post-lig-cutting routine always involves hanging, rather than stretching. Many guys can gain an inch through hanging alone (even if they’ve already gained all they can from jelqing & manual stretching), and it’s controversial how much cutting the actual ligs facilitates hanging gains.

Interesting question, can you have this done again. Dr. Giunta cuts the ligs and re-attaches them at a different location. This is a major no-no. Problems with scar tissue, and lack of gains are contributed to this technique. So the answer is most likely yes, you can have the procedure done again, correctly. The hyaluronic acid lasts about 18 months, and costs around $1800.00. So think of it as having all the cable channels, including HBO, for around $100.00 a month. Also, a heads up, there is a reported partial loss of sensation with this procedure. An alternative would be to have alloderm grafts inserted in the glan, this will run around $3500 as an independent procedure, but will be permanent, and sensation will remain unchanged.

I have a consultation with Dr. Rosethal from Beverly Hills Surgical next month. I am seriously considering having the lengthening and alloderm widening procedures done. Are you satisfied with the Alloderm? My only concern is that I will contract some sort of disease from the donor tissue. How is Lifecell’s quality control?

I’ve had a quick look at the sites of some of the surgeons you recommend. They all talk about the importance of using weights post surgery to achieve erect length gains. Otherwise, all the patient is likely to get is flaccid length gains. They even say that one should use the weights for up to six months post surgery. Alter specifies, “Weights can stretch the penis without surgery, but a greater incremental gain will result if the suspensory ligament is released.”

This raises a host of questions. For example,

(1) How much of this gain is really due to the “release” of the suspensory ligaments? And how much is due to the weights?

(2) Would the men who have gained length this way have gained as much if they just did the hanging for six months without the surgical releasing of the suspensory ligaments?

(3) If someone has found it hard or impossible to gain anything even with investing time and effort into hanging, would he also find it hard or impossible to gain anything with the surgery + the post-operative hanging?

A separate question: What kind of post-operative hanging routine do they typically put one on? How much time a day? How much weight? What kind of hanging products do they use? Etc.

Being from the U.S., I am not familiar with this surgical group. Thier techniques seem valid. I know some people who had good gains from Dermal grafts. The only downside is having the extra recovery from a donor site, and all things associated with that like scaring, pain ect. The site doesn’t go into detail about what procedure is used for the length. I think the site claims no need for traction. I would be leary of this, also make sure the ligs are not re-attached, and a transverse incision is used.
