Upward curve = less girth diameter?

I know many of the members here would like to achieve an upward curve for the sake of “hitting the G-spot” or even the aesthetic appeal. Although I have a slight upward curve, which probably causes me to lose .25-.35 inches in length, I don’t find it very appealing.

I’ve also noticed that although possessing a large girth, I have a relatively small diameter (base girth is around 7.25” give or take .25”, but at this point my diameter is a hair over 2”). This means that I have an oval-shaped penis with the shorter diameter visible from a bird’s eye view. This causes the illusion of me having less girth from the top, while having a lot more when viewed from the side.

I’ve also noticed that many porn stars with upward curves tend to have much more girth from the side view and less from the top view, creating the illusion of a thinner penis when looking down at it. Perhaps there is no correlation, but I seem to be seeing this.

Also, it looks like guys with the downward curves have wider looking penises from the top view and thus have oval-shaped penises that appear wide from the top view and thinner from the side view.

What do you guys think?

I have a downward curve that looks larger from above. From the side it looks thinner. There’s probably a 1/8”-1/4” difference.

Yeah I have an upward curve too. Its usually around 6.26 @ base, maybe a little over 6 at midshaft, but my glans girth is barely over 4 inches! My diameter from above is exactly the same as yours, so I can’t complain about that though.

To the original poster, I don’t think you should worry about how it looks from certain angles so much. You are big dude. And if it feels good for you and feels good for her it’s doing it’s job. I have the upward curve also (it’s slight but enough to be called a curve and like you, at full erection it costs some length). I’d rather no curve but I’d also rather an upward one, compared to a downward or sideways one. So in the end, it’s hard to be too frustrated with it. I think you might be right about the trends you noticed, I’ve noticed it a bit as well. Those with downward curves seem to have more circular girth, and upward seems to be more oval shaped. Does oval shaped feel better or worse though? I don’t know.

I am built the same way. It is annoying. To me I look nice and thick from the side. From the top, that’s a different story.

Additionally, I think it is unlikely that ANYBODY sees the same relatively flat top down view as we see. Think about it:

The view we have of our penises is relatively flat and 2-dimensional. The view a sex partner would have is going to be more 3-dimensional view from most any perspective she is in. Anyway that’s what I am thinking, seems to make sense.
