A few questions from a beginner to extending.

A few questions from a beginner to extending.

Hello,

I got myself an extender (ProExtender III) last week and immediately did some research on questions that I had. However, after browsing and reading everywhere I could find information, some things still weren’t that clear to me. As I’m rather cautious with my penile health I thought it wiser to ask some things before doing something detrimental its health. I realize these question are about rather basic things, but after a few days of looking around the web I couldn’t find any further info on it.

The first thing I read up on was incorporating an extender into an existing routine, as I already do manual stretches and jelqing. It came up with a lot varying results, some would say do them before, others after, or manual stretches before and jelqing after the extender, etc. So when I first got my extender I tried the 3 aforementioned methods for 4 hours, as the extender’s manual said for beginners, and felt that doing my manual exercises before the extender to be more comfortable. However, can I actually incorporate the two together safely?

My other question is related to the first one, if you can use the two together, and is about rest days. I do my current routine 5 times a week with 2 rest days, however in the extender’s manual it is said (and on several sites as well) that I need to wear the extender daily or at the very least build up to wearing it daily. Could I just keep my 2 rest days and not wear it daily? I prefer having 2 rest days than having none so my penis can rest and recover, if that’s alright within the usage of an extender when trying to gain.

One thing that really caught my eye is this “1000 hour rule(?)” I looked further into this and it is about ±1000 hours to gain an inch. The thing that confused me about this is over what time period is it referring with a thousand hours? 6 months? A year? Due to some things I can only wear an extender for 5 to 6 hours a day at most. But if I were to do that for 5 days I’d still hit those 1000 hours… but over the span of roughly a year, which is fine with me because I’m patient and consistent to something if I put my mind to it.

The last thing I read is that you need to use the extender half an inch to an inch past your erect size to gain. Is this accurate? If so, does it use BPEL or NBPEL for the measurement?

The difference between stretch and BP is minimal, no where near a half inch, much less an inch. At most I see 1/4”.

I’m far under the 1,000 hour rule. I’ve documented about 1/2” in about 2 months in under 200 hours. Quality over quantity.

What is important is that you can hook up an pull! Far to many people, fail to pull, so instead wear an extender as jewelry and expect gains. If you can’t hook up to full springs, you are wearing jewelry.

My rest days and over days are dictated by life.

Jelqing is a great precursor to extending. To succeed in extending, you need a head to grab on. Jelqing is a great way to start, but you can also penis pump or watch porn to get a chub, but jelqing is the natural way to get there.

Not at the same exact time, I wouldn’t try to jelq with the extender on. But yes, I jelq in the morning, and extend at night without any issues. On the weekends sometimes I jelq immediately before (maybe like 15 mins after jelqing) wearing the extender. I haven’t really noticed a difference personally between jelqing right before wearing the extender vs. Jelq in morning, extend at night

My advice would be to take rest days from jelqing, but try to use the extender daily. I notice that when I take rest days from wearing the extender (maybe 3-4 days off) it is more difficult getting a comfortable stretch with the tension I am used to.

I don’t log my hours, but I do use my extender a minimum of 4 hours per day except maybe 2-4 times a month. The only other times I don’t wear it is when I am on a vacation, or somewhere I can’t use the extender daily. Personally, I think you need to be wearing it as often as possible for the 1000 hour rule to apply. I don’t think wearing it for 4 hours here, then a few days later 2 hours, then maybe 4 hours 3 days later after that would result in optimal gains.

I found this video helpful in how to wear an extender:

Also, does the ProExtender use springs? I think extenders that use springs are optimal

Alright, I’ll keep that in mind, thanks! But I should still stretch a bit above my BPEL then, correct?

Not really sure what you mean with a hook an pull, what I did for the first time was press the extender against my pubic bone and slowly extend the length of the extender until I felt a stretch in my penis. When I let go it’s pressed firmly against my pubic bone and the stretch stays the same, it’s not hanging loose. I guess that’s good?

Yeah, I noticed that as well. When I was trying those methods I read about, the jelqing beforehand really helped with a better grip and it doesn’t slip off. Thanks for your input!

I should’ve rephrased my first question. I was indeed referring to doing manual exercises and wearing the extender afterwards. Glad to know I can at least do my jelqing before.

I see. However, could I still build up to wearing it daily? For example: I wear it 5 times a week with 2 rest days for like 2 weeks and then wear it 6 days a week and keep an eye on my EQ.

I’m planning to start with extending tomorrow. Just for safety reasons (I’m a bit paranoid when it comes to safety) I’ll start wearing it for 5 days at first but I’ll stick to that. Like I mentioned above, I’ll try to add more days in there over time.

I found that video as well and used it to fit mine accordingly. The extender I have is the exact same model, so that also really helped when watching the video.

It’s pretty much the same extender as shown in that video you linked. But it uses springs, yes. I just checked the manual. Thanks for your insight!

Where are you on the springs?

I have shared a couple photos of my last 2 month gain, but if you look close, you see 2 black strings going over the top of the crossbar and 2 beads being the crossbar
crankmymotor - Are Penis extenders Fake?

The thumbscrews only have 1” of expansion and the bars are fixed length, so the most the extender can pull is less than 1”. For me, I need a good inch and a half to get to full spring, so with the silicone loop I need to pull up from flacid to the stretch length. The only place to grab is the head, but by the time I got my head into place, it was not big enough to hold the loop. The lanyard allows me to put the lanyard on first, snug up the beads, then pull the string till the beads get past the crossbar and tighten it in place.

The springs start off tight, but after 10 minutes, I can start tightening and continue to tighten throughout an hour. Where if I start at full thumbscrew, I have nowhere to go

The string is an eyeglass lanyard The one below is the one I use. If you order, but a few extra.

OK, I see how you attached that. However, I tried the noose that came with the extender itself and it wasn’t very pleasant so I don’t think I’m going to try anything similar. The comfort strap with foam on the other hand was very comfortable. As for the springs, do you mean how much pressure the extender is exerting? For me I have 3 lines showing, so at 900g.

The biggest issue with wearing an extender is getting the right strap/attachment. You mentioned you were going to start sometime soon, so I suggest that in the first week or two you try to work getting a solid attachment where you can wear it for 30-45 minutes without any feeling of discomfort.

Also, don’t wear it at your max stretched length, instead find the best and most comfortable tension you can wear it at for at least 30-45 minutes. That is where I messed up in the beginning. Overtime, I realized that the bone pressed length of my dick while in the extender is nearly the exact same as my BPEL.

Experiment with attachments, I have tried 3 different types, and currently I use a noose attachment with the foam over the sillicone noose, combined with cotton fabric from a cut up T-shirt that I wrap 3-4 times over where the noose attaches.

It is nothing like the silicone loop. Where the silicone gave me discomfort was slipping out of it. Try it with a flat shoelace and see how feels.

If you like comfort shield, you can use them. I just use a little piece of tissue. This penis weight uses a comfort shield and a lanyard.

Yeah, I plan to use it starting tomorrow. I’ve worn it 3 times last week (4 hours each session) to experiment with the straps that came with the extender and personally found the comfort strap with foam to be the most comfortable for me. Last week, I also adjusted the length to a comfortable tension so I can wear it for 4 hours without any pain or discomfort.

OK, I will look into that as well.

If you ain’t stretching, you ain’t growing.

My biggest issue with going an hour, is sitting in a recliner an hour without getting up, so I simply lower the lanyard down, do what I need, 5 minutes of vacuum, then extend for hopefully an hour before something comes up. Generally I do not walk while its on and if I do, I turn it down before getting up.

My greatest discomfort feels like muscle fatigue the entire length of the penis after putting in several hours over the course of the week.

I have considered a silicone lanyard, but haven’t followed through.

I’ve also need to find a fish scale to see how hard I’m pulling.

Yes. that is the point of the spring tensions. If you have tension on your dick it is stretching it at a comfortable rate. The springs apply the tension and your dick is trying to overcome that tension by growing. Hence how spring extenders work.

The beauty of spring extenders is that they relax as the penis grows. And you get to adjust the tension as that happens.

Hiiiiiiiiiiii guys, I’m pratically a newbie and get started today with an extender. I come from the italian forum I can’t open new threads here yet so I join up.
I have 3 problems:
1. The silicone comfort ring - corona located - doesn’t stick up, it moves head downgrading tension
2. The ring at the base stimulates badly my testicles, result: tummyache
3. I feel like any movement could loosen the thing down there, what’s more I never keep my beloved upward, result: I’m paralized in front of my notebook since lunch

Similar experiences out there, any tips?
Love you so much, sorry for the minimal monkey-like english, I will improve I swear.

Thank you for the reply schwanz, so how much coldness in the glans is supposed to be normal? Mine is a bit freezy while extending altough it always remains of his normal usual pink color.
