Here is a picture of the hanger i’ve made, if someone want other picture with more details or a how to with the different steps there’s no problem, just ask.

Oh WOW! That is the nicest non-pro BIBhanger I’ve ever seen.

You have a real gift in production, Frenchy. Too bad you’re overseas or I’d pay for a few of ‘em. I still might!

The only thing I’d say is that you might want to shorten the strap a bit. That looks to me like it’ll be dragging the weights on the floor (unless you hang over a cliff because your name is Bigger or DLD!).

Thanks for the compliments but are you really serious about buying? You know it’s not really complicated to make one. For the strap i know :D but that’s the first one i’ve made. For the moment i’m working on another system to close the hanger faster and on one alternative to the silicone pad. But if you need help to make your own just ask :)

I know. I was just saying as a backup. I’ve got a Starter on the way and have used the regular Bibhanger.

One of the keys to the Bibhanger is indeed that silicone padding. For comfort and the ability to grip the member.

I have currently one with a silicone pad and one with a kind of foam that is more comfortable, i will probably try one with a kind of latex used to make mould for teeth. I’m just trying to make the ultimate hanger :D . I know the bib’s hanger are really good but i couldn’t afford one.

Just as well, Frenchy. They are out of production and in limited supply. As far as I know, their future is undetermined. Although there’s probably a good chance they’ll be made again. Just my guess.

But it is smart to make do for yourself. Please let me know how it goes with your alternate forms of padding. I may ask you to make me a few, just for so!

What material did you use for your hanger? Plastic pipe? It looks almost like Kydex - the heat moldable stuff used for holsters and knife sheaths.

I’ve just used a piece of pvc tubing. I’ve try to make one with some heat moldable plastic but it really doesn’t work like pvc.

Definately not out of production. I just received my this noon, can’t wait until I can get home and try it out. I’ll post progress as it developes.
