Hang time vs Weight

Once time is maxed out one can go for more weight at probably less time.

Okay, thanks man.

I think 7.5#’s is light enough. I might warm up w/ 5#’s sometimes, but wouldn’t be like putting on an extender? I know what you’re saying, but I have prior experience from hanging. I’m just trying to get back to 10#’s, because they say thats when the gains come. So what the timeframe w/ this routine? I know it has to be estimated. My routine is 1 hr daily, 4-6 hr’s on the weekend at 7.5#’s.

I do something similar. I use 10lbs with a vac hanger, and try to get in about 3 hrs/day M-F, 1 hr/day on weekends. I couldn’t possibly do 40 hrs a week and work full time, but this lets me log about 60 hrs/month in addition to the newbie routine in the morning. The vac hanger doesn’t wrap up as much of my dick as a compression hanger would, so I can use a rice sock, hot water bottle, or infrared lamp to keep things toasty while I hang. Heat makes a BIG difference, making it much easier to stretch ligs, tunica, and septum (hat tip to firegoat). Since starting this adventure 3 months ago, I’ve been able to gain about 1” BPEL, going from 7” to 8”. Some of that should be considered newbie gains, but I’m pleased so far.

I really appreciate your feed back. You have a very similar schedule so this was very, very helpful. Thanks a lot. Wow, an inch in 3 months!!!! Congrats bro. Heat does make a difference, you just motivated me to put my heatpad in the microwave right now. I’m new to vac hangers, but I love my LG hanger. The pull is amazing!!!

Good luck to you, S7. As far as I can tell, the LG hanger and monkeybar’s vac hanger are both vacuum-based devices that use similar principles. Do you agree? In any event, both of us are using similar approaches: lighter weight, more time. I’m also trying longer sets, leaving it on until I start to feel fatigue or light pain.

Since I do a lot of work on the computer, I follow an idea I saw in the TP forum: I’ve hooked a pulley under my desk, and hang in the SO position most of the time while I work on the computer. Works for me.

I saw that SO setup on here. I’m going to try to imitate it soon. Yeah, our situation Is similar.

I intend to try ADS hanging in a few weeks.

I will start with 1/2 Kilo (1.1 lbs) and work up to 3 kilos (6.6 lbs) in 1/2 kilo increments. over several months.
During week day evenings, I should be able to manage 4-6 hours of hanging and at weekends, as long as possible.

I ordered this hanging device from Ebay: | eBay
They say it is very comfortable and easy to use, I still have some silicone sleeves that I will use if neccessary.

I have been doing various PE exercises consistently for 2 years so I suspect my tunica is quite resistent. I have read that successful hanging sessions result in an overall fatigued feeling throughout the penis, so I’m curious how long or how much weight will achieve this in my case.

Has anyone tried a similar routine? If yes, could you share your experience please?

I was also wondering whether an intense V-stretch before attaching the weights etc. would help progress or might it accelerate the toughening of my tunica in your experience/opinion.

Thanks!

That’s really impressive - 1 inch in 3 months? I think I need to get an IR lamp. I wonder how well it will work with my Bib. I’ve always been afraid of cooking my nuts with an IR.

Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

Is this actual proof you can really gain 2 inches hanging 10 lbs a day for 40 weeks?

From my experience, hanging in lower weight (under 6 lbs.) for longer amounts of time/sets has been the most effective for gaining real length both in flaccid and erect.

I do from time to time switch up my routine and hang heavier weights (10 lbs. And over) for a couple days and then go back to the lower weight and longer time.

When I’m not hanging and just going about my day I almost alway have on ADS. Its like wearing braces to correct your teeth, It takes consistent stimulus over long period of time to get the change.

When I was doing extensive research about this stuff, I remember reading that a constant low intensity stimulus must be held over 6-8 hours daily for the body/cells to adapt and change permanently. The body/cells don’t respond to short time/strong stimulus well, and it will result in injury more often then adaptation and permanent growth.

Given the choice, I think volume beats less sets at heavier weights. That’s why guys gain with extenders that barely pull their penis. Bib hung for 8 hours per day or so. Most people just can’t do that.

Personally, I felt that after going above 15 pounds or so, my penis started resisting the pull. BPFSL retracting more, etc. EQ is still very good, but my BPFSL hasn’t increased much compared to when I hung at lower weights. Not an accurate comparison necessarily, as I might have reached a plateau anyway.

For people who can’t hang for long periods of time, an ADS is probably key or even a necessity.

I think you should have reasonable expectations, and if you exceed them, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

In my opinion, I think that a newbie can gain half an inch in the first 6 months with good technique. After that, I think a reasonable goal is 1/4 inch a year. There may be a few people that picked up 2 inches in less than a year, but those kind of gains are very rare, no matter what techniques you use.

Live long and prosper.

I have the same reaction when I hang pass 12 lbs. It’s just too much weight for my dick to take, and it ends up fighting against the pull, instead of lengthening with it. I personally have never used more than 12 lbs. And have gained 1.5 inches in length mostly hanging with 5-7 lbs. And ADS.

Low Weight "hanging"

Has anybody had any experiences with using multi-hour or all-day approach with low weight?

I have a Phallosan vacuum head part and I use a 200g / 0.44lb weight attached.

The advantage is, that when walking, it can swing freely inside some loose pants.
It actuallly feels pretty good.

I wonder whether a “swinging” stretch that varies also by different movements etc. and therefore pulls on a variety of tissues could be a good thing?
