Making use of the load calculator?

Hello! This is a great thread thank you for putting it together.

I have a question about putting Krypas load calculator to use. I measured at about 104mm or 4.125inches in flaccid girth

I get these numbers

7.5lbs

And 7.2lbs in blue

Not exactly sure what these numbers mean.

Is this the weight that I work my way up to in a session?

Thank you

I cannot seem to reach beyond 2% strain after a session. How would you guys approach this with my stats so far (see attached pic)?

Seems to me the weight you’re using is too light.

I’ve hung for lig gains two years now, and haven’t gained anything on the ruler. Four 15-20 mins sets a day on average. Going up to 33 lbs. I’ve gained 0.25 base girth but apparently no length gains.

I started doing manual stretching a month ago and get around 20-30 mins a day, along with 2-3 15-20 min sets. 13-23 lbs. If technique is on that day, wrap, hanger tightness etc, 27 lbs hanging. Before doing this I’ve been clamping for 10 mins which helps break down tunica more. No gains I can see as of yet. It’s only been about one month.

Ok gents, y’all need to be posting your procedure, results and any questions on them in your personal progress report, not here. This thread is 5.5squared’s personal progress report for his results and questions to him on his process.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

I want to get clarification on a few things…

1) What is the ideal total duration for each week? Is this total duration just the heat applied portion OR total with all steps ?

In heavy hanging its recommended to do 10 hours a week minimum (excluding warm up and cool down).

2) Is there a hanging angle requirement? Can it be done with SO or does it have to be BTC, SD?

Thank you.

1) I think you have to try this and see what works. People seem to use between 1 hour and 1.5 hours a day 5 days a week. So it’s generally less than compression hanging 10 hours a week advice.

2) With this approach any of those angles have worked for people. I used SOnand it worked well for me. Otherels have used SD and BTC and it worked equally well for them

This is an excellent question. I also have to remove the load to put new weights on. My thought process, since it is only 10 seconds, is it doesn’t matter.

12/31/17 BPEL= 6.25 MEG = 5.00 , 08/24/22 BPEL= 6.875 MEG = 5.125, 01/16/23 BPEL= 7.0 MEG = 5.25, 01/08/24 BPEL= 7.125 MEG = 5.25

01/24/24 BPEL= 7.125 Meg = 5.50 <---- Girth Goal Reached

Next Goal ---> BPEL = 7.5 Meg = 5.75

I had in interesting observation while on my decon. I have been measuring BPSF regularly so I can get into a consistent technique for when I start my hanging routine and for the most part I am measuring up right at the 7” mark at any point in the day. What I have noticed is, after I’ve had a shower, not hot, but with slightly warm water, and wait a few mins to get dried up and in the closet, when I take my measurement, I always have an extra 1/8”. So just the slightest increase in temp seems to give me this “error” that I may have to account for when I do my post hanging measurement.

I don’t recall if this is something that was discussed in this thread before. Am I overthinking this?

I’ve had similar thoughts about this and started a thread about it here
Change of Seasons and Temperature Effects on BPFSL
I think though as long as you’re consistent in how you measure it should be fine, and you should look more to the long term trends than daily measurements

With agreement from 5.5Squared, we are closing this thread to additional posts.

Please post any questions you have on the process or your personal technique in your progress thread.
