Hanging 101

Uao, first time I read it. That’s a great 101. PE is more an art, but here I smell the science behind. Good work, makes me want to start hanging (also becouse I still don’t understand how to stretch well, damn…).

I just started hanging with a BIB hanger. I think it’s great and I may be seeing gains already. I have been doing PE on and off for about 3 years or so, I started out really on and off with stretching and jelqs. I have been pumping for about a year and a half or so, again on and off.

I’ve gained a little over a 1/2 inch in length and almost 1/2 inch in girth. Right now I’m about 6.5”NBP + by just under 5.5”MSEG. I’d like to get to 7.25”NBP X 5.75MSEG.

Currently I am hanging everyday if I can for 1 set for 20minutes with 5lbs. I also pump for two sets from 5-6hg 10minutes a set about 3-4 days a week. I do about 50 jelqs when I pump. How good or bad is it to hang and pump since I have been PEing for years? I don’t want to lose girth at all. Is this routine likely to get me to my goals?

I’m limited on time, I might be able to go to two sets a day eventually but not much more. No way can I spend 4 hrs a day. How important is it to increase sets before I increase weight? Is it likely I could achieve my goals and exceed them with just using 1-2sets daily while increasing the weight?

Forgot to mention, I have a downward curve and point of exit at about 2 o’clock so the end result is my penis points pretty much straight out. I want to correct the curve if possible to make it straight. In the mean time I don’t want to lose any of my point of exit (2 o’clock) by loosening the ligaments otherwise my erection would point more down when hard. Therefore I am hanging straight out which should work the tunica if I’m not mistaken and this is difficult to get results from what I have heard on here. Thought I would add that information.

You’re only hanging 1x set per day though—maybe you would benefit more by adding a few more hanging sets (instead of the time you spend pumping).

I was attaching the bib lower on my penis and was getting weird head pressure I raised the clamp and hanger a lot higher up on my penis and it feels better overall. Is it better to attach the hanger higher up.

Maybe, but if you don’t learn to seat it to right spot now, it will slide there when/if you get to high weights.

In this case it sounds like you were attaching the hanger too close to the glans which was causing far too much pressure to go to the glans.

You can attach your hanger near the base if you want a major skin stretch—although just hanging it high enough to cause all the pressure to go to the sides of your shaft (without undue pressure on your glans) is high enough.

I’ve been attaching the homemade bib higher up and thats been the trick. I’m getting that great stretch feeling without a lot of head pressure. Is it normal that when you’re done with a hang for the penis to be a little cold. Not like really cold but just slightly, is that why the after warm down is very important.

In my experience, the head is a little cold after 20 minutes of hanging, but it should warm up fairly quickly (a minute or so) after you disconnect the hanger.

I have recently been leaving myself wrapped between sets … and evenin that condition I warms back up within a couple minutes.

Ok that’s what happening with me, it warms up very quick. I’m only on one set per day right now. I’m not in any hurry so I’m taking it slowly. I’ve always taken PE very slowly never rushed anything.
I grew up boxing, and one thing they taught you when you began learning was to do things right when you are first starting out or you will form bad habbits that will be hard to break.

Guys, I read the threads and I must say I totally love it. I have a captn wench and will use it to hang. I will go out and purchase 2.5 and 5lb weights with some .5lb fishing weights. Thanks for all the info you have given to me. I will measure then get the results back in about two months.

I hung today and I must say when I kegel after that I could not feel the muscles in little Johnny move. I think he was tired. I did three sets with about a five minute rest in between.

Right, I’m starting hanging.

The problem I’m running into is my circulation being cut off. Glans aren’t turning blue, but they are turning cold. I use theraband, tried starting the wrap from both top and bottom and I’ve tried with cotton cloth. Sure, it may have cooled down lately, but even after warming up it shouldn’t lose heat that quickly.

I experience no pain or discomfort (Tried with just the hanger and 1kg of weight), just a tugging feeling.

Any tips on improving the wrap itself to avoid cutting off circulation?

The wrap shouldn’t be tight enough that it cuts off circulation.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

I agree, one thing I have found is that if you can’t pee while wrapped its too tight. Not a guarantee that the wrap is correct but a sure fired way to know it is too tight. If the wrap is not correct or the hanger is not tight enough your hanger will slip towards your glans making a noose that will indeed slowly cut the blood flow off. You may feel fine when you start but a few minutes in this will create e the numbness and discoloration in the glans that you are experiencing. It is paramount that your wrapping and hanger adjustments are correct before you start moving up in weight. Even if this takes you a month it is worth it and will pay off in the long run.
