Homemade Hanger Models and Instructions

I saw somewhere on this board that some guy have a prototype of home-made vacu-hanger. He hadn’t mentioned how he had done it, but promised to share the info if the ‘beta testing’ will be successful.

On 4 -11 I posted a pic of a modified hanger as described originally by Piety. It is a clamp style that I continue to believe works as well as any. The only recent change I have made which improved the device is that I have eliminated the string and rubber washers in favor of a 5” length of very light chain, purchased at any hardware for a few cents, and installed between the compression boards on the bolts. Far better than the string. Easy to hang 12 lbs. I have not tried more.

I want lenght, so I’m gonna try make a hanger. For what I see it’ll be a bit hard to find the parts here in Argentina, but I’ll search for them anyway.

I fully support the Capt’s Wench. I have been using it for about 6 months and have great results. It has definitely made my PE worthwhile and adding additional length and, to my surprise girth. I modded mine about for speed purposes by attaching the wrap directly to the main section so I don’t have to wrap each time. Another huge help was in getting the item mentioned by Cap in his alternative items post. I got one similar to #2 called the “Pony Grip” and it has made hanging much easier and using the handles it has makes control a breeze. I also used the pink erasers as they work perfectly to keep everything in place and firm enough for the job.

Now I can bang one of these out in about 15 minutes. I wonder if there is still a market for them. Heck, more than willing to set it all up on eBay, PayPal the thing and get started. I figure $12 to $15 should cover materials, shipping and time. Maybe $2 for lunch.

I’d just like to shout out a thanks to all those who posted their Hangers and other designs. It was a great idea to start this thread and it will save we newbies a great deal of frustration with that silly search button. :-P

These are all great designs and ideas. I’ve made a few. I find that they could all really work, but the wrap is equally important.

I don’t have a good wrap. I’m just using a thin sock right now. It doesn’t really work that well. My BIB hanger just keep slipping down and putting pressure on my glans. I’m looking for something that has enough grip to last in the same spot for while.

Can someone please provide detailed plans/images of the best wraps available?

Yep. Why make a Wench for ten bucks with readily available materials, when you can pay over a hundred to have a hanger shipped out to you? (I have both, BTW, so it’s a rhetorical question. I know the answer already, thanks).

Thanks for the sarcasm, its greatly appreciated. I’m sure you’ve thought that some people are just not inclined with engineering skills in this department, nor do they really feel like spending the time to fabricate such an item. Also I do know that everyone has time to do this.
