More proof that long periods of hanging may be beneficial?

I have a theory. All hanging gains remain minus 0.5 inches remain due to ligament tightening during PE inactivity. This seems to agree with most hanging vets who cease hanging for years including BIB.

Buster: You might find that your loss will be regained rather quickly. Could be too that if you have an ADS it would be all you need to get back into racing form.

Even if you have to do some hanging to get back to where you were consider having an ADS to utilize on occasion to prevent losses over the long run.

Thanks, Monty. I suspect it will come back. My goals are:

1) regain old growth, mainly via hanging
2) push on to more growth - another 3/4” if possible

I am down with the ADS, however I have actually found that to be the most aggravating thread subject to track down. Ultimately I’d like to know the top 1-3 ADS mechs that people are using so that I can decide what would work for me. It would need to be something that was fairly inconspicuous.

I will be purchasing Monty’s weights in the near future. So I can’t comment on them specifically but I do have golf swing weights that I can wear all day long with hair tie wraps (htw). My first 2 htw lasted me a full month as I used 2 full pieces and added a Velcro strap the last 2 weeks as they do get stretched out. I’m going to try washing them in the laundry to see if it shrinks them back in place. I have pictures on my log over at MOS.

I received my weights from Monty recently, and so far I quite like them. I’ve even worn them while teaching (with a loose pair of khakis) and no one noticed.. Or at least said anything. I definitely recommend some baby powder or something similar to put them on with though..

I ordered 3, and will probably end up ordering a 4th in the future.

I’m not a hanger but using ADS after any PE exercise session is the key..

I begun in the end of 2011.. so in October this year it’s 3 years of active PE.

And yes, that’s correct no hanging. I like your way when you talking about ADS and other good informative methods like healing.. here in this thread and in other threads as well :-)

I’m a veteran, that shows very little results after all these years. I use a vacuum hangar and I listen to everyone ones advise, and have gained maybe 1/4”. So I just gave up. Then I learned that the method of using heavy weights (8 to 20Lb) for short periods of time do give temporary results. But as you stop it goes back to normal. Its taken me this long to realize the actual length gains takes some serious dedication and not so much weight. The information I received is based on lighter weights on extended periods of time. I,m back to hanging using a vacuum type hanger (not a extender) and now average 7lbs for no less than 4 hours a day and as high as 10 hours. The medical evidence I have found suggest that continuous stretching everyday for at least 6 hours a day have produced results as much as a 1/4” per month on average over a 6 month period. The average I have read about is roughly an 1 inch for every 6 months of continuous use. I have not measured my length since starting back up since November 2014. But it seems my flaccid girth has gone from 6 3/4” to 7” I have a very thick dick. It appears after just over a month of hanging 7+ lbs everyday for at least 4 hours a day (average is 30hrs a week) I have gained 1/4” in ONE month, all most exactly what these scientific studies have already proven. Now granted finding that time to hang 7-11 lbs on the end of my dick for up to 10 continuous hours takes some serious dedication.

My problem has been trying to find a way to do this at night and getting even more daily time. I have spoken to doctors who have done enlargement surgery and they have a very few clients that have hanged light weights for 24 hours a day. And according to the two doctors I have spoken to they each had just ONE patient that did hang weights and gained 3+ inches in less than a year. I was able to contact one of his patients in lives in Florida. He told me he had gained over 6” in additional length , but again he hung 8Lbs everyday, 24 hours day and he worked at HOME. Personally my goal is to get to 8” and no more.

It does appear that there is some merit in what this research has proven, continuous stretching at least 5Lbs for 6 hours everyday for 6 months will give us results. The more time the better the results. But its finding the time to put in that kind of dedication, that’s the real hard part

Long periods of hanging can certainly be beneficial but there needs to be a clear understanding about why I doesn’t work when a few hours a day is all that is used. You see the problem lies in the bodies processes to return disrupted tissues to their normal structural condition.

Now what I found was that I hung heavy weights for only 1 1/2 hours a day but I managed to gain 2” in a year by utilizing an ADS between hanging sessions. This amounted to upwards of 15 hours a day. My ADS weight was typically 2 to 3 lbs daily, all day in a corporate environment. That amount of weight is enough to keep disrupted tissues from heavy hanging sessions from healing which in the end is two thing’s, toughening of tissues and restoration of DNA programing.

Much of this healing process is determined by your individual health level and immune system response. Some of you heal very quickly. An ADS combates that process.

That brings to mind another member, that hung only ~ 3lbs. For long periods and very consistenty. He had significant gains also.

I’m using an extender but following Monty’s idea of ADS after the sessions except at night. For that I’m using a silicone sleeve and Monkeybar’s stealth cap attached to a leg strap and in between, an extension spring which exerts 2.2lbs of force. Hope it works.

Guys-those of you with great gains hanging, has it produced more turkey neck effect?
