Oh looky here! The CCH3.

One more thing, does anyone know if they have the grippers at home depot? The nearest Lowe’s is pretty far away from me.

Home depot definetly does not have grippers, I went to the floor protection section and the closest thing they had was felt. Although on a pamphlet nearby they had what seemed like round grippers but I couldnt find them. ALso, PVC pipes only came in 10 ft lenghts which wouldnt’ve fit in my car so I got 5 ft black water pipes which when compared to the PVC pipes at Home depot were pretty much the same but not as hard. I dont know why but the pipes in CC’s pictures look wider.

I’ll go to Lowe’s tommorow, hopefully they have Grippers.

What is a carving knife, never heard of one before and do you recommend having the strings threaded through less holes, different then how you have in on the first page?

A carving knife is just any knife with a short strong blade such as a Swiss Army knife. For the proper threading of the holes, check out post #66 of this thread, and yes, that is different than the one in the first page.

You don’t need to stick all 10 feet of the pipe in 1 piece in your car. Have them cut it in half for you. Also, the PVC pipe I use is 1” as labeled but if you actually measure it, the outside diameter is 1 and 6/16 inches.

Grippers are only found in Lowe’s.

The pipe I bought has an outside diameter of 1 4/16, I guess the PVC pipe is a little thicker , I’ll make it with that and see if it works out.

Hey CC, I made the CC3 and it almost works. Everything’s good but it seems to me like there is too much room in between the two pipes where I cut the windows out and it doesn’t get a good grip at all. What to do?

Well, the recommended dimensions of the windows are for the 1” diameter PVC pipe.
Did you use this size of pipe?

How big was the window you cut out? For 3” pillars, the cut out area should be 1” wide and 2” tall. You probably cut out more than an inch in width.

Also how long are your pillars? 3” or 4”?

Can you post a pic of it?

Those gripper pads are expensive at $4 a pair. You could lay an extra sheet of grippers on top of what you have but it would be far more accurate and safe to start over since I don’t know the dimensions of your work and where the cord holes are, etc…

If you want to keep this one, I suggest using a lot of wrap to fill in the space so it hugs you tight, but once again, it’s better to start over.

This really doesn’t make sense to me. You say get a 1” pipe, and cut a hole 1” high, but in your picture it doesn’t look like you cut 1” out at all. Taking an inch out of an inch pipe would basically mean cutting it down until it’s cut in half if you see what i’m saying.

The pipe is actually 1 - 6/16” in outside diameter. The hole is cut 1” wide. The actual hole maybe 7/8” wide but after you bevel the longitudinal edges as in the photo, it is 1” wide measured from outside edge to outside edge.

If this still doesn’t make sense, you will have to wonder how others here have successfully made theirs following the same instructions. There are no other instructions.

I found this place last week and today spent all day reading! I can’t believe that there are so many people and penis engineers here using and discussing their latest inventions.

After looking at all the gadgets here, I decided to make a CCH3 today. I am looking for length first. I am happy with my girth, but will work on that later.

As I type, I have the CCH3 on right now with a 3 lb dumbell. This is great, no pain, no discoloration!

I found that it is much easier to tie the string to a small washer instead of the pipe. Before I started threading the string, I tied one end of each string to a washer. Then, I made sure the 2 strings were the same length. This made it much easier to get the pipes even after threading.

I’ll have to say I was laughing at myself while in Lowe’s buying pipe and all the other supplies. I’ll bet the LAST thing the girl at the checkout would have thought it that I was making a device to hang weight from my penis, lol! :hanger:

Just finally made this myself and I must give CC a big thanks for sharing this with us! The speed of taking it on and off is priceless. I found out that if rough up the grippers a little bit with say, a nail file perhaps? the grippers really GRIP the theraband. make sure you don’t take off to much of the gripper pad, just enough to make the smooth surface a little tacky. Good stuff CC and happy hanging to all!

Product Update 9

Product Update 9:

I repositioned the front cord holes to get a slighter tighter grip.

Just redrill another set of holes about a half diameter of the hole apart from the original front holes. When you make the CCH3, you still have to drill the original holes as usual so you can get a reference point of where the modified position will be. I used a 3/16” drill bit for the new holes, larger than the 5/32” drill bit I used on the originals.

If you check out the pic, you’ll notice that the cords come out of the new holes. Notice that the new holes are to the “inside” of the original holes, meaning they are now closer to your shaft. The original hole on the top right in the pic is barely visible.

Ignore the other set of holes way to the inside of the pillars in the pic. That’s a set of experimental holes that failed.

Hi CC

About your product up-date. Its been a couple of days now and I would like to know if this new cord position and the new grip is as comfortable

as the previous.

Thanks for making a great thing better

4by4

It is as comfortable.

It’s easier since you don’t have to do as much manual tightening at the very end of the process for that snug fit.
