Starting hanging, uncut

I recently started hanging. I seemed to master wrapping fairly quickly and feel comfortable during sets. I read that recommended hanging time for beginners is 45 minutes a day and uncut hangers should half their set time. Does it mean I need to decrease my total hanging time to 22 min a day? And secondly does it affect results if I split a set in half?

Why would the recommended hanging time be any different for uncut hangers?

Shortening your hangingsessiontime or the total hangingtime will affect results.

sparky,

>I recently started hanging. I seemed to master wrapping fairly quickly and feel comfortable during sets. I read that recommended hanging time for beginners is 45 minutes a day and uncut hangers should half their set time. Does it mean I need to decrease my total hanging time to 22 min a day?<

No. Usually sets of 20 minutes are done, but I have always preferred and recommended 10 minute sets. So the time under tension is the same you just take more frequent rest periods.

>And secondly does it affect results if I split a set in half?<

No, I gained an inch with 10 minute sets, as long as the total amount of hanging is the same the results won’t be affected.

Piet,

>Why would the recommended hanging time be any different for uncut hangers?<

The foreskin can become sore more easily over longer set periods, with shorter sets there is less chance not only of reducing soreness in a session (so you don’t have to stop early), but also of causing injury to the foreskin. I caused some seemingly permanant damage by not adjusting my routine which is why I recommend 10 minute sets.

Good Luck

I gained an inch with 10 minute sets

Could you pls explain some more detail information as folllowing:

1. What was your LOT before “1inch” & Now?
2. What kind of hanger have you been being used: BIB or Wench or others?
3. What is your Hanging Method: BTC or SD or SO or OTS or fulcrum?
4. What is your routine?
5. How long does it takes for achieve 1inch (as your experience)
6. Beside Hanging , have you practiced any other Length PE such as Manual Stretch or Pumping
I belive that Your information will be very usefull not only for newbie but also for Vet.

Thanks & Best Regards

Hey Titanic,

>1. What was your LOT before “1inch” & Now?

I had gained 1/2” before the LOT theory was invented, it was 7:30 before and 8:00 after, I have battled for the last 1/2 inch, and keep losing it and regaining it, and LOT will change along with the gains I make/lose. I checked this morning and I appear to be at 7.75 (lost 1/4”) and LOT is 7:30.

>2. What kind of hanger have you been being used: BIB or Wench or others?

I used several homemade hangers but did not gain until I started using the Bib.

>3. What is your Hanging Method: BTC or SD or SO or OTS or fulcrum?

SO with fulcrum.

>4. What is your routine?

At the moment I do a few minutes of stretching every day or two, but given the loss of 1/4” I’ll probably increase that. Previously my routine was intense, see my thread in progress reports for more details.

>5. How long does it takes for achieve 1inch (as your experience)

Over three years. ;) I’m not exactly the best person to be asking that question!

>6. Beside Hanging , have you practiced any other Length PE such as Manual Stretch or Pumping

To my knowledge I have done all the PE methods including manual stretch and pumping. When I used them is in my progress report, but it was hanging that got me the gains I wanted.

>I belive that Your information will be very usefull not only for newbie but also for Vet.

I’ll offer my opinions to anyone who asks, and some people who don’t :) .

Good luck Titanic, hope this helps.

SS4, I hope you don’t mind me asking you a question also.

I had to stop hanging 2 weeks ago as I noticed a thrombosed vein on either side of my penis starting at the base. It appears that my foreskin does not like being stretched and is my limiting factor.

I was doing 2 x 15 minutes sets in the morning and 2 x 15 minute sets in the evening, using a heat pad before and during my sets hanging SD.

I was wondering if you are cut and what type of injury you had/have?

I used a bib hanger and just let the foreskin ride over the glans during the sets. If I start hanging again I was thinking that pulling the foreskin back as far as possible before attaching the hanger may help.

Dear SS4Jelq,

Thank you so much for your sharing.

I did read your thread, I deeply admire you SS4JelQ.

You are a true mirror of “Diligence is mother of success!” :D

My case is somewhat like you: LOT 7:30; Plateau after quick gain 0.5 inch.

I started BTC Hanging by Wench with 10lbs (Thank you Captain).

I would like to start with Fulcrum Hanging.
Could you kindly explain about
1. your Hanging Weight as your experiences (Max Weight)
2. The angle of Penis and the Weight when SO hanging.
3. The Suitable Diametter of the Fulcrum Rod
Your help is highly appreciated
Thanks & Best Regards

titanic,

>SS4, I hope you don’t mind me asking you a question also.

Nope.

>I had to stop hanging 2 weeks ago as I noticed a thrombosed vein on either side of my penis starting at the base. It appears that my foreskin does not like being stretched and is my limiting factor.<

See, the foreskin doesn’t need to be stretched to allow the extra room for gains. If it is tight for some genetic reason (or whatever), this is another matter to stretching skin to allow gains and you should search for relevant threads on that. Either way, hanging does tend to stretch the foreskin (mainly due to fluid buildup), some uncut guys reported their foreskin partially regrowing (Bib being the first name to come to mind), but I don’t know if they created a setup deliberatly to do that.

>I was doing 2 x 15 minutes sets in the morning and 2 x 15 minute sets in the evening, using a heat pad before and during my sets hanging SD.

OK that’s cool but only use heat on the first half of the first of your two 15 minute sets.

>I was wondering if you are cut and what type of injury you had/have?

I am uncut. My injury is damage to the foreskin, there are nasty looking scars and I get soreness in the skin very easily. I have to put the hanger at a specific place to hang comfortably, with more of the skin pushed forward. As a result I stretched more skin than the average hanger probably would. The scars are only noticable after I have done PE, where they go from nearly invisible to a nasty shade of black.

>I used a bib hanger and just let the foreskin ride over the glans during the sets.

That’s fine.

>If I start hanging again I was thinking that pulling the foreskin back as far as possible before attaching the hanger may help.

No this is bad, don’t do this.

>You are a true mirror of “Diligence is mother of success!”

Thankyou, sir. The world rewards the persistant is what I always say.

>1. your Hanging Weight as your experiences (Max Weight)

Max weight I ever hung was 36 pounds, though I rarely went above the mid 20’s at the times I got my gains.

>2. The angle of Penis and the Weight when SO hanging.

The angle was probably around 10:00. Weight around 25 pounds.

>3. The Suitable Diametter of the Fulcrum Rod

The rod I used was 1 inch in diameter and had a t-shirt wrapped around it for padding.

Good Luck

Dear SS4Jelq,

Thank you so much for your kindness.

I did read 02 0f your thread about Hanging & Girth routine.

I would like to ask your experience:

1. Can we do hanging right after Girth excercise?
Is there any harmful or make reduce effectiveness of Girth excercise?
Because as usual, penis is still maintaining Swelling condition several hours after PE.
But if you do Hanging right after PE, your penis will almost no Swelling.

In my understanding use 20lbs ~ 25lbs as your routine to get gain from tunica?
(I read somwhere said that the optimal weight for LIG Stretch is 15lbs only, isnt it?

Pls advise.
Truly yours

Dear SS4Jelq, why is it bad to pull back the foreskin for those of us that uncut? I have a problem of my wrapping just “rolling off” if I don’t pull the foreskin back.

Pls advise

Thanks

Sstang

Hey fellas,

I am uncut too and having a hell of a time. Worth all the trouble tho, as we got foreskins and the other buds don’t.

I am new to hanging, but have been using informal manual techniques for years. I made up my own hanger based on Tom Hubbards concepts recently. I apply a significant amount of pressure to prevent “roll-off” and limit myself to 10 minute sets because of circulation loss. I tighten my hanger down hard, more so than I think is recommended.

I have noticed a few things that might be helpful to those of you having issues with foreskin.

1> we have been taught to apply the hanger 1” behind the glans. I agree with this, but in my case I must apply the hanger 2 or more inches back to start. It rolls toward the head as weight is applied and stops, hopefully, short of the head in just the right place. As our skins are apt to elasticity, we have to account for it when mounting and hanging.

2> uncut guys have about 2”+ of extra skin. Most of this skin is free to slide on the shaft, but toward the head it becomes attached to the innards. I call this spot the foreskin-hinge. If the skin on the outside slides too far south in a hang session tension is put on this hinge causing serious stinging. This comes from the weight tearing the skin away from where it becomes fixed. This would be like taking your upper lip and trying to wrap it around your forehead. Tears at the gum line. STOP. THIS IS BAD. Take it off and start over.

3> Squeezing the head right before tightening down helps, but I find a little more blood in the head acts as a barrier to keep the hanger on longer. The operative word here is little. This takes some patience and practice to get right.

4> I tend to tighten down on the clamp in the first 10 seconds or so to stop any slide if it is happening. In a last attempt I take it all off and start over. This is my best weapon against preventing slide off. I think uncut guys need a tighter bind with the hanger than cut men. This is the reason we use shorter hang times and have more frequent, short sets.

Good Luck Guys

Wrap tighter while stretching the junior, but not too tight (so you can still take a leak with wrapping on), make sure your wrap is longer than the hanger. When putting the hanger on (I assume it’s a bib), make sure the screw is tightened real well.

Good Luck Guys

I am using a bib hanger and did not have any rolling off problems described above. It sits on really well and even I am uncut, I feel like I can hang 20 min. I still do 10 though out of safety considerations to avoid a numb feeling when I take the hanger off.

Rright on Sparky

It seems the BIB has some serious surface area on the inside. This is something I do not have…yet. My hanger is simple and smooth. I am also without Theraband.

I think the uncut concerns come from the fact that the skin slides more and is more plaible. This in turn cause more potential for injury and slide off and typically a tighter bind when mounting the hanger. Slide off seems to have the ability to cause tearing or sprain. If you are not experiening this then more power too you. Maybe you have some tips for me or I just need a BIB.

Hey guys,

I wanted to toss in a few more ideas for those of us who are just getting things rolling.

I just got my hands on some Theraband latex ribbon for the first time. I have to say the difference is like night and day. I was using a thin vinyl before over a cotton jersey under-wrap. The difference is 10-fold. The wrap is tight, even and comfortable and does not slip once taped in place. Once the hanger is on the pull is even and firm and the weight is distributed all over the shaft instead of where the hanger bunches the skin up at the head. I also notice that there is less tug at the sides where the hanger contacts the shaft. Now the tug is even all around the shaft. Hardly any slide either as I ease on the weight.

I can really feel it now. I mean really feel it. I am stepping back on my weight as I think I was hanging mostly on skin before and my ligs and tunica can’t handle it yet.

If you do not have some of this stuff, get some. In my opinion this is not longer optional, but a personal requirement of mine. I had no idea how important this part was and had not heard anyone mention its importance.
