To all the handy mens show your hanger

OK my friends after 12 dollars and three hours of work here is a pic of my hanger. Is not really an easy one to make but it those work very good. I still thinking about purchasing one of the Bib hangers but for now this one is doing the work. please be free to comment on it. Also i like to see other members hangers ideas please post some pics of your handy mens skills pretty sure every body else will enjoy see them to. Ten By Seven

Ledzep my hanger is very comfortable the pad is made of jelly like foam in the inside and leader cover in the out side the shell is made out of PVC. I have hung three weeks with this hanger at a maximum of ten pounds it feels great I know it will be no problem to handle the heavier weights. This hanger grab my shaft on the inner structure very well. I’m using cloth and theraband for wrapping. I like to see other people wright their opinion on this hanger. Homebrew BIB (mine)

I see that ledzep gave the heads up on my hanger. I’ve fabricated a little mod for the original homebrew. As you’ll see in the attached photo there are cylindrical charging terminal’s on the sides of the frankenhanger. I attach a battery charger to these while hanging-shocking Watson, shocking!

JUST KIDDIN, LOL

The machined aluminum pieces are to get the hanging strap away from the hanger. I found that when trying to hang, close to the base- the strap would come into contact with the head of my buddy (me no likey). It work’s quite well now.

A couple of question.
1. What is the outside? I know you said that you went to HD but what exactly is it. I looked in the electrical and plumbing and nothing I saw looked like it would do the trick.

2. What is the padding you are using?

Kdoc6 is not going to be that easy like going to HD and find something like this. You have to do a little work to get it to that shape. I went to HD and bought a piece of 5” ID PVC 1/4 inch thick and cut it and heated to the shape I need it. I also make a mold made out of metal tubing plus some bondo work so i could get that shape. Is not as easy as 123 it takes some tools and some good idea of what you are doing to make it. Thats why other member just buy the Bib hanger. I don’t know what material is the foam I’m using i found it in the shop i work at but is like touching jelly. presently I’M working in two more hangers one is for my brother and the other one is an idea that I have in mind to correct twisting in the hanger wish I hope it works. Maybe if Thunder let me I will show pics of different stages of building my hanger and the tools that I used with plenty of INFO also I will need some time to do that. Ten by Seven
