Too Paranoid to Continue Hanging

Hello. I have purchased a Bib Hanger late last year and have been majorly on and off with it. The only amount of weight I’ve ever used for hanging is 2.5 pounds. I started at 5 minutes, then 10, then 15, then 20. I noticed that after setting up the hanger and slowly easing my hand off the weight so it stretches, I keep getting negative images of it snapping my penis off. My flaccid penis is not long or thick unless I just finish clamping.

The problem is not with the hanger, as I am able to leave it on without any pinching or falling off. I’m using a barbell weight (2.5) tied to the hanger’s hook with a rope.

However, if I hang immediately after jelqing and clamping, it feels a lot bulkier and I’m not so worried about snapping it off.

In the meantime, my routine consists of either

warm up, stretch, jelq, clamp

or

warm up, stretch, jelq, clamp, jelq, clamp.

What should I do? Should I only hang after jelqing and clamping, or just not hang at all? Is there a different type of weight that attaches straight to the hook without rope? I tried to do 5 pounds once, but almost lost my nerve seriously after 2 or 3 minutes. I want to get up between 5 and 8 pounds ultimately.

Hang + tubing + some jelq, that’s what I’m doing, hope this helps.

Perhaps changing the aforementioned image in your mind. Start imagining how much longer you’ll be over time. I’m sure that your penis will be fine as long as you don’t go too crazy. You should consider reading some of the insane, bordering sadistic, routines some members have done. I’m sure yours will not simply “snap off”.

Your penis won’t rip off, ESPECIALLY at low weights like 2.5 - 8 pounds. I have hung 20 pounds from my penis and others have hung up to 45 pounds and we still have our penises firmly attached.

I would caution you on heavy girth work and hanging at the same time. Work your length first, then go for girth.

In regards to hooking the weight via a different method. ..

I use a turnbuckle setup and weight plates. Google turnbuckle home depot to get an idea of it. The bottom loop I replaced with a normal bolt and two progressively bigger fender washers. It fits right between weight plates perfectly and it hooks on the S hook on the bib.

Not an original idea. Copied someone else and I can’t remember who to give credit where it is do.

I feel like I could almost infinitely increase the weight. Ten pounds feels like nothing after the first few minutes. It’s the pressure of the hanger on my dick that kills me; that’s what eventually limits me.

You just have to build up your soft tissues and get them conditioned to the hanger. In time, you’ll be able to move up in weight comfortably. But just remember if you have a Bib, you’ll always be refining your technique.
