Dynamic pumping resource and discussion.

Thanks for the update and clarification.

I share your belief that excess lymph fluid is counter productive to EQ and probably gains. Over the years there’s been interest in using condoms and now silicone sleeves and caps to put a bit of counter pressure on the skin to keep the lymph fluid from forming in the skin (edema, donut, blisters, etc). That’s a technique I have not yet tried. Sounds like you (Veloce) and Austfred are quite experienced in that and I will have to try it soon.

I suspect that pumping for EQ is sometimes at odds with PE for gains. In other words, what might be good for Erection Quality (Erectile Dysfunction) might not necessarily produce gains (Penile Enlargement). As an old guy, my first priority is improving EQ, my second priority is recovering lost length and girth, and finally, my third priority is increasing length and girth if possible.

The medical community is now starting to do more research on “Penile Rehabilitation”, specifically for men following prostate surgery which results in poor EQ and some form of ED. Pumping without the use of constriction bands in combination with medication like Viagra is a leading recommendation. The general idea is that frequent pump induced erections oxygenates, nutrifies and stretches penile tissue much like nocturnal erections in a young healthy male. While there are a few published research studies on penile rehab, I have not found any that specifically address the amount of vacuum (inches Hg or mm Hg) nor the cycle time (pump time + hold time + release time). A contributing factor for this oversight is that medical penile rehab protocols recommend using a VED (vacuum erection device) which lack a gauge.

My current hypothesis (as of August 2016) for optimal pumping for EQ is:
Frequency - 1, 2, or 3 times per day;
Intensity - a vacuum that does not cause injury - for me that is now a maximum of 4” Hg but can change over time;
Cycles - short cycles of about 18 seconds (6 seconds increasing vacuum, 12 seconds decreasing vacuum);
Duration - 30-60 minutes per session;
Heat - a heating pad around the cylinder aids circulation and expansion;
Skin conditioning - use of cocoa and shea butter based moisturizers to improve skin elasticity.

I have a lot more to say but this post is getting long so I will end it here. Feel free to ask any questions and I will respond.

Best Wishes!
Mike

For optimum EQ I found a max of 6”hg and short cycles between 6-10 secs so 3 secs up to pressure and 3 down, feels like a perfect jelq.

Session time 20-30mins max.

No gains but amazing erections.

Interesting, have you tried to keep this pumping routine, perhaps a bit shorter, while doing other stuff to work on girth?

Of course :)
I think it would probably work for most people.
Just not me !

I thought I’d mention that despite the pulsator, I’ve decided that 8” Hg is simply too high, even using 1 sec pulses, and have dropped back to between 4 and 6, which seems to work just as well when combined with heat.

Veloce - thanks for the update. I totally agree that even pulses of high vacuum are not worth the risk of injury.

A couple of thoughts:

Our methods of measuring vacuum are not accurate. The gauges can simply be wrong - see my prior posts about using water and tubing to calibrate. Also how and where we sample the vacuum for measuring can be wrong. Ideally the sampling for measurement should be taken at the cylinder.

Regardless of the goal (PE or PT (penile therapy), I question the benefit of momentary pulses of high vacuum. I think the only thing these pulses do is pull lymph fluid across the cell membrane to cause edema - which I believe is counter productive to health.

My current technique is to use a cut-off condom over the glans with baby powder underneath to stop blisters with a short sleeve over the top behind the glns to anchor the condom and reduce fluid build up. For various reasons I cut back the amount of pumping I was doing and my EQ suffered a bit. Recently I am back with a vengeance doing 2 x 1 hr sessions 6 days a week and my EQ has bounced back. Seem to have fallen into a sweet spot without any sign of blisters or excessive fluid.

Think the answer to try an approach which gives both. I have reverted to slightly longer cycles and am still getting good EQ results. As far as gains my MSEG has gone from 5” to 5.5” and it now looks as if I might be able to cement 5.75” if I stick to my current routine. Still dont seem to getting any length gains from pumping even though I pack the cylinder but this is only after vacuum build up.

Very encouraging

i do most of this and now use an electric heat pad. I have also started using vitamin E cream at the back of the shaft to help fit the silicone sealing ring. I pump to 12” Hg max but built up to that over time and my unit seems capable of handling it. My current cycling is similar but can vary a bit as the Mr Fantastic water pump makes it difficult to get this precise. Not sure precision is important here as long as you are in the general range. Would be wary of very long cycles at high vacuum which might cause too much stress.

Is it possible pumping between 2 and 3 hours per day until a maximum pressure of 15 hg, after a couple of months of gradually increase of pressure?

My opinion: No, not without injury.

Assuming an accurate gauge measuring at the cylinder (penis), I think 15” Hg of vacuum will result in injury - excessive edema. Pumping more per day (2-3 hours) at this level will only increase chances of injury. Human tissue is not leather nor do we want it to be on the penis in order to preserve sensitivity.

Over the years I have read reports of men pumping to 10”+ Hg without injury. I suspect their gauge is not accurate and/or the measurement is only momentary at the pump and not the cylinder.

Thanks mike. I had read pinstripeee’s routine here: The Physics of Water Pumping (p. 7) where he said that he did dynamic pumping for 2 hours daily at 3/18 hg (!) without excessive edema because he used absilicone pumping sleeve. He has reached 15 cm in mseg, unfortunately he does not actively participate here and not respond to private messages. In italian thread someone used the dynamic pump for 2x30 minute sessions or only an half hour daily at 15 hg with a gain of 1 cm in mseg on average, but after the first time they have preferred to lower the maximum pressure between 8 and 12hg. In fact the only experience of pinstripeee is not enough to risk significant damages, and those who went too far with the pressure they have repented. But is it possible that in pumping, as the other PE exercises with device (extender, hanging, etc), if you use a constant force the penile tissues adapt to it and the force becomes insufficient? Is it necessary a force that grows gradually over time?

Regarding the use of compression or counter-force by means of a silicone sleeve, condom or water:

I believe this can certainly offset possible injury at higher vacuum levels. Unfortunately, I have no experience in this approach.

Several issues here.

1. I have found I can pump up to 15” Max Hg using dynamic (cyclic) pumping afre building up over a period (6 months from memory). I did get some injuries along the way (blisters). I also got fluid build up but don’t regard that as injuries as it dissipated after a day or so. With dynamic water pumping I have since found if I reduce the max vacuum to 12”, use a condom ( or silicone toe protector) held in place with a silicone sleeve with baby powder on my glans I have been able to avoid blisters completely.

2. Session time - I found with air pumping my penis told me to stop after about 30 minutes. With water pumping I can regularly go 60 mins and even extend to 90 mins without real discomfort. Lately I have been doing two 1 hour sessions (morning and evening) 6 days a week and noticing no ill effects and great EQ. However I do feel I need that rest day.

3. Fluid build up (eg donuts and edemas) are an issue and seem to get worse with longer session time and higher max vacuum. However using a silicone sleeve seems to greatly minimize this. As I currently pack the cylinder after a few mins of pumping I currently only wear a short sleeve partly to keep the condom in place but also stop fluid build up immediately behind the glans and in my foreskin.

I believe the digital vacuum gauge in the vacuum controller with is the heart of the Mr Fantastic pumps to be accurate but I have no way of testing it.

Hi I am new to this place.
I am considering to buy vacu-tech Pulsar.
But there is no description on pulsar mode in the web site.

Could somebody who has the pump explain the five exercise mode?

Pump In Play

I find that a microwavable ankle therapy sleeve works wrapped around the pump with very light vacuum using 10 minutes at 4 another 10minutes at 8to10. Remove I also use helping rods for what I call ALL AROUND THE WORLD. Which is actually milking all directions it takes time for growth but it’s worth it

Pump In Play

Where do you get a silicone sleeve to go over the penis head I’ve read the reviews that’s posted I get blisters sometime from too much pressure
