Longtime pumpers with no gains?

I recently started getting into pumping and, quite honestly, I love it. It feels great, I have a much better hang, and I feel like the quality of my erections have increased. I’ve been taking it slow and steady, making sure to not go with too much pressure or pump for too long.

That being said, I’ve seen absolutely no length or girth gains once the pump wears off. I’m not even going further in my cylinder while pumped. Everything is still the same. Not that I mind nothing but improved erections but, I mean, I’d also like a bigger dick, too.

So, I’m curious if there are any long-term pumpers out there who, for whatever reason, stuck with pumping yet never saw any size gains worth noting.

Of all the exercises, routines and devices in PE, pumping, by far, takes the longest time to see any real gains from - especially if all you are doing is pumping. The longer you pump, the more you’ll see, but you’ve got to give it time. How much time depends on how responsive your cock is to the cylinder.

Current Stats BPEL: 8.2" [NBPEL: 7.6"] EG: 6.8" - Goal: 9x7 and beyond

I have done PE for quite awhile but focused on length first and was successful at reaching a length long enough to bottom out in girls easy. I finally got to where I was ready to learn about girth and try to gain with it like I did with length.

I dedicated myself to a pumping routine for a number of months maybe last year and had a lot of motivation and also support from a female best friend that really helped me get it done, I thought for sure I was finally going to gain girth. I was packing the tubes, though it was fluid build up, and my post pumping girth was huge and made me feel happy about it even though I knew it wasn’t true gains.
I then worked up to doing jelqs and clamping, and finished off my days with on average 6-9 sets of pumping while I was doing things on the computer. This was taking much time and was hard work.

I took a few days off after that to let the swelling go all the way down and took measurements, and I had not gained anything. In fact my girth was under 5.0”MS after all of my hard work and in the past I had been 5.25”MS just from hanging consistently and doing the occasional jelqs! That hit me so hard I quit my routine on the spot because it messed with me, to work so hard at girth and gain nothing, and in the past not working for girth and having a little girth gain stick around from it.

After I took some time off I realized I would never see the girth I want if I give up and gains could have been just about to show up, so I tried a pumping routine again, but I injured myself that time, possibly because between my sets I just pressed the button to release the pressure and didn’t actually break the seal by taking the pump off, I thought it would be easier that way and wanted to test it out, but I ended up losing feeling around the right side of my base for months, so I didn’t do any PE for a long time.

Now I am back just now starting PE again, hoping to finally reach 6.0”MS. My confidence in routines with pumping as the base has been damaged, though I can not deny that pumping has great benefits that I love.

I don’t know where to start on a new girth routine yet, but I do know that PE and penis modification works.
We know that tissues can be deformed and altered, so we just have to find something that works for us, and try to not lose our motivation.

Trust me, I want to be patient because I’d rather have a working dick than a huge limp one. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting ready to waste a huge amount of time though.

I have gone through phases where my gains have lagged my expectation. I go through seasons when gains are notable and other where nothing tangible seems to transpire, one thing is certain even when I have not measured any notable gains I know with great certainty that my erection frequency and quality are great and much improved with pumping.

Take your time, you will reach the promised land but understand it is going to require some time. However if it is that you need to change routine for a few months then do so, but do not give up in pumping the result may come at varied pace but they will come.

Since my last post on this thread, I went on a pumping binge of sorts and I pumped every single day for 30 days at an average of 30 to 45 minutes per session. At the end of the 30 days I ended up taking a two-week break or so, dictated and forced upon me by my schedule more than by choice. At the end of that two week break I noticed that the games that I made were still largely in place. A small gain, yes, but another step toward my goal nonetheless.

What is your routine like? How much pressure are you using? What is your max pressure that you’re hitting during a cycle session? Have you ensured that you using the right size tube? Are you utilizing any sort of heat application? Are you jelqing between sets? If so is it a light or moderate grip?

Every routine is different but these are some of the things that I make sure that I am mindful of during my sessions to maximize the time. So far things have worked out very well. Reevaluate what you’re doing and maybe those slight modifications will help jumpstart your gains.

Been pumping for years. At times, upwards of a year plus consistently and regularly. No permanent gains. The temp gains, like for 24 hours; however, are wonderful.

The best results I had were from a very simple pumping and jelqing routine that I stopped years ago. I gained mostly in girth in a matter of months and 85-90% of the girth has stayed. I think now I’m ready to start for another 2-3 months but I really need to read all there’s about safety here, it’s been a long time.

Devastation

Thinking about pumping never yielding gains is so very depressing. The more I read, I realize that there’s no way it can. Surely as long as penis pumps have been around, there would be proof by now. I need to come to terms with this. I’m kidding myself when I think I will use a pump for years to come and end up with a fat one. I know everyone’s thinking the same thing. It makes me wonder if these members claiming they’ve gained all this girth are fake. It’s so easy to cling to that hope.

I don’t know what’s more depressing. My last post or the fact that nobody disagreed with it.

Would it make a difference to you if anyone did?
I don’t know what you’ve been reading to reach your conclusion, but there are plenty of topics on thunders suggesting that pumping is an excellent way to increase your size (in recent months some of the biggest gainers to post have been pumpers, doing cycling pumping to very low pressure).

My impression is that pumping alone may not be efficient for gains, but in combination with for example jelqing, it can work.

There’s many guys on this site who’s had great gains with pumping and then you have those who’ve done it for a long time with poor results.

PE is not yet a science it seems.

Thank you guys. It’s just discouraging. I also am about to start pumping religiously, and it scares me to think it might be for nothing. I just wanna figure out what will work for me. I’m gonna try to hang too. I may just stick with my extender. I’m not sure yet. I been contemplating a pumping, hanging, clamping routine but have no idea the most effective way to go about it. I guess it will be trial and error.

That all sounds way overboard. You don’t want to pump and hang unless you’re really gung-ho. I tried hanging for a few months and got nothing noticeable from it but much pain and wasted time. I have gotten gains from an extender tho, as well as pumping. My last small jump in length had to be from pumping. And really pumping is the most enjoyable PE I think, whether or not you gain much from it, it’s still fun. I do think it takes a long time to see permanent results but there are many here who do gain from all the various forms of dick abuse. Be careful pumping and clamping unless you don’t mind chancing discoloration. I have a bunch of pumping pics and such in my pic thread, maybe check that out when you can :)
