Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Hello. First post, so please be gentle. I’m new to pumping, and have been considering the LeLuv 12 x 2.50 cylinder. My penis gets thicker toward the base, and I am about 6.7 around the base, so do you think I should go with the 2.50 or 2.25 if I want to keep both options open at this time — length and thickness? Unfortunately the 2.25 seems to be always out of stock. These are quite expensive to import from the USA to Europe, so I would prefer a long-term solution but with good results. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to add some details. I am currently about 9 inches in length and I guess my goal would be somewhere around 10 inches in length and 7.5 inches around the base.

I think the 11 x 2.5 or 12 x 2.5

Have you looked into https://thickwall.co.uk as a more local source?

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks for the quick reply, gprent. I have, but unfortunately the cost is too much for me at 150 euros with shipping. 11 inches would be optimal, but I believe LeLuv only has 9 and 12 inches.

Yes, you are correct.

I have narrowed it down to these two — any difference between the two pumps in terms of durability? Are both good choices?

The second one with the plastic handle is the most recent ergonomic design, but I don’t have any experience with it. The first has an all metal handle, so it will never break. The actual pump part and gauge is the same for both. Up to you which one suits your eye.

Thanks for the help, gprent. I went with the second one! :)

Question On Packing The Cylinder

Quick question.

Dialog here and elsewhere seems to indicate that even when you are starting to pack the cylinder, say base up to half the shaft, you still want to keep using that cylinder.

With the wall of the cylinder preventing expansion (girth) in the packed area, I would assume the force of the vacuum would be focused on the glans and unpacked shaft.

So would this indicate the reason to stay in a semi-packed cylinder is either to promote length gains or to create a more even girth from end to end or is there some other reason?

That’s right from my findings. It’s what I’m used for length gains.

Hello^^

I decided to give a chance ThickWalls with the size of 1.75. It was tough because I saw prices in USA and in Europe where I live. But it is not device we buy every day so :)

Anyway, ThickWalls has no measurement on the cylinder. I know it is not important but I like it. Do you use some measurement sticker on the cylinder?

The second thing I would like to ask is - I’ve seen pumps even up to 50 hg. Advised vacuum pressure is for the most 3-5hg. It makes reading the pressure meter quite hard as it won’t give precise value as example 3hg on the scale of 35 is barely noticeable. Is that true?

My preference on cylinder size was the length was no more than 2” greater than your erect length. The reason being that too long of an unfilled space at the end is demotivating.

As far as diameter of the tube it depends upon if your going for length or girth. 1” greater circumference than your erect girth is a good starting point. So a 2” diameter girth might use a 2.25” tube. A 1.5” diameter girth might use a 1.75” or 2” diameter tube.

Get custom tube sizes if you must, they are not that more expensive.

Pumptoys.com has length measurements marked on their VelSeal cylinders if you want to take a look at those.

All of the vacuum gauges I have seen on the vacuum pumps I have used go up to 30”hg. It is very easy and accurate to set a gauge pressure of 3”hg.

This is very helpful! I would presume this same type of approach is applicable when picking a hydro pump like bathmate/hydromax or penomet (or other equivalent, these are the only ones I have seen or know about that have shown any potential).

I’ll checkout some more threads on the topic.

By the way, doing advance searches from a desktop instead of a mobile device is far more superior! I found this subject topic in no time with only a few posts to view from as opposed to hundreds, lol.

Anyway, if I am digesting the information about pumping correctly a wider cylinder is best for girth gains, with a more leaner cylinder is good for length gains. So then, if you want to focus on both at the same time (though might take longer) a good rule of thumb is: length of cylinder should be at minimum 2” longer than your BPEL and the width a minimum of 2” bigger than the circumference of your EG (or 2.25”).

NOT an exact formula but pretty consistent from what I have read from the different posts and from the Vets on Thunder. Pretty Cool information!

Your two postulated reasons to stay in a semi packed tube are both valid.

Now: 9" BPEL x 6.25" MSEG as of 11/10/2019 This is my story, a few progress pics of me here, and all my methods.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.
