Is there a way to protect the glans when pumping like we do when vac hanging? I mean even 1 strip of tape applied still allowing expansion, just worried as I have 1 spot that was always prone to blisters.

After 5 month of pumping, I have some questions, if someone can help me, thanks.

I can do 2-3 sessions with an average on 6Hg, pushing till 12-13Hg for less than a minute and then switching between 6-10 for some minutes before ending the session. Usually it’s a 30-40 minutes session. Then I jelq and then I do another 15 minutes under the pump.

I can’t tell If I’m moving right or not.

Piis are good.
When it looks thicker, is because of some liquid in the tissue, I guess, but since is not extreme, when it reduces a bit, it gives this look of a thicker penis. is not soft or spongy at all, but still I know is just an illusion.

When I pack the bottom of the cylinder, is just because of the liquid in the tissue.
So:

Am I moving wrong?
Should I aim for longer low pressure sessions?

I know that once I stop 4-5 days there will be no visible gains (I am aiming for girth)

But is not clear to me the concept of packing the cylinder. Does it mean only through expansion without liquid in the tissues? Or both?

I use an air pump (thickwall) with hot water inside, always warm up.
If I pump over 10Hg for a long period, I have a thick visual effect just because of a mild liquid retention. And that’s it.

What do you suggest?
My goal would be a solid 0,5 inch in girth!

Ok let me make sure I understand your routine:
You do 2-3 20-40 min sessions (2 hrs total) starting at -6inHg then go to -12inHg for a minute then finish off the last few minutes between -6 and -10inHg. Your heat source is hot water in the cylinder.

You then jelq and finish with a 4th pump session for 15 minutes.

Why are you increasing the vac level? Slow and steady is the recommendation for newbies. Stay at -5inHg for the duration. If you read about guys (very experienced guys) surging or stage pumping at a couple of different vac levels during their routine it is typically because they have plateaued and are trying a new/different routine to re start gains.

I am having trouble understanding how water can stay warm for 40 minutes. Many guys use a heating pad wrapped around the cylinder. I do.

Packing is just what the term implys- your dick expands until it touches all sides of the tube. Could be from edema, could be from normal engorgement. When you are close to 80-100% packed you should consider getting a larger tube. The area of the dick which is packed is less affected by the vacuum in the tube.

I might explained badly.
So:
I do a 30-40 minutes first session. where, usually, the first 15mins I stay around 5Hg, then gradually switch to 10Hg (with some downs to 5 again), and the last minutes I ‘m climbing to 12-13 for few seconds, back to 5-6, and so on
then I jelq with a cock ring , I do some 20-30”holds
then I do a 15 minutes session inside the pump.

So less than 1 hr inside the tube.

40 min pump
jelqs, some holds
15 min pump

right now is hot outside, so If I enter with hot water, when I finish the session, the water is still pretty warm (I also wrap the cylinder with a towel)

With higher pressure, I can see packing the cylinder on the base.
But I will try to change approach, since it looks like (here on the forum) the lower and longer, the better

I think I’m conditioned for a 2x45 min at 5Hg. So I might try this approach. and then slowly add minutes. reaching 2 hrs under the tube, still at 5Hg, or lower

So far, no discoloration, red points, bad Eq.

I see this liquid retention, and I don’t think leads to gains…
But it looks like packing the cylinder is considered good. And you can’t pack it if not with some liquid in the tissues too…I’m confused.

A component of the pumping experience is learning what causes the worse of the edema for you. When you have that figured out you can modify your pumping program to minimize it. I’ve been pumping for several years and my basic program is 1 hr at -5inHg with heat pad. Sometimes I need to pull out and relube if the lube dries out. I know if I want a little more edema I can increase to -7 or -8 for the last 10 or 15 minutes of my routine, or add a little time to the routine. A little edema yields a larger girth which can be a fun add for sex. Too much edema and you have a soft, mushy dick and my wife says no thanks when that happens.

I want to be clear that I always have a little edema after pumping, which clears up quickly. I can add a little more and have a little more girth and a pretty solid dick. Too much and it’s what I said above.

Did you have some gains from that routine? If so, how many?
Or are you just pumping more for fun and temporary gains?

I would say that edema starts around 10Hg or above, if I maintain the pressure for more than 10-15 minutes. It’s something that goes away with fire goats (I don’t remember if that’s the name) but I keep it because of the “extras”. But, still, is just temporary.

with 5Hg I don’t notice changes.
I go inside hard, and I reach 5Hg in few pump clicks. I barely feel pressure. (But took me several weeks, before that 5 Hg was like 12Hg now)

I’ll probably try, gradually, to reach an high amount of time inside the cylinder. Like 2 Hrs or more splitted in 2-3 sessions.

I’ve tried higher pressure because there are 2 schools. You read about good gains thanks to: time>pressure, but also vice versa.
The second seems more riskier tho, so I’ll try the first one with some manual.

Damn, girth is tough

My last growth was when I added girth by adding constant heat. I mainly pump for maintenance and penis health now, not overly concerned with growth. If I get a little more gains would be ok, but I’m not actively trying for it.

Question on how many sets a day of pumping and Minutes. I have been doing PE for some time now. Hanging, Pumping etc. I have been pumping consistently for over a year. 2 on 1 off and weekends off. 2 to 3 sets @20 minutes. How many sets should I bump up to? I pack my 9x2” in girth within 6 minutes and switch to 9x2.25. Thanks in advance.

If it’s working well for you, why change? What pressure level do you use?


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks Gprent, I start out at 10 and let it settle to 5. Which doesn’t take to long. I also use a piece silicone sleeve just below the glands. I find that I expand better in length once I go into my 2.25”x9” and at lesser pressure. Not sure why that happens. Wasn’t sure if I should go to 4 sets of 20min. A day.

I two staged yesterday and on the second round I went way to hard in my elliptical. I pushed it past 15inhg and I didn’t exactly clock how long I was sitting at that pressure but it couldn’t have been more than 30seconds. Anyways, checked my dick when I woke this morning and, fucking red dots man. Few on the glans and one decent sized one right below the head on the under side. It was a pretty normal pumping day besides that little extra push so the high pressure has to be the culprit. I was looking forward to jumping in the Bull Master today for an hour or so but now I gotta take a few days off. I own toe shields, but I pump huge when I pump in my elliptical and the toe shields don’t fit well when I’m that pumped.
