I put in a warm wrap afterwards also. Interesstingly, I am able to expand even further with cold water than with hot water. I am 18,5 cm bp. That is about as far as I can expand with hot water. In the following cold water session I easily reach 19 to 19,5 cm without getting the feeling the pressure might be too high.
LV, you wrote that you tape your mushroom area where the lymph build up is most prominent. Can you tell how you do that?
Thanks and yeah, I agree, WP’ing is just so much fun.
Sorry for replying so late, caldera. I didn’t see the thread recently.
1. I think cold water may be more affective in increasing in-tube length is because it does not allow the penis to expand girth-wise due to inflammation and lymph build up as much as hot water, so the vacuum is satisfied easier with length than girth.
2. This is my newest pumping technique.

Although I don`t plan on quitting hanging, I might switch to water pumping in a few months.
Ah, hanging is a bitch compared to water pumping. I agree.
So whats new?
1. I have developed the practice of ALWAYS wrapping while water pumping. This is not due to simply wanting to avoid the mushroom, though.
I developed an oddly shaped penis through PE, as I described in great detail in the opening posts of my second log. The part that matters here is that my CC is wider on the 1.5 inches of my shaft than the rest, and it tapers down until it reaches the base. In addition to this, hanging and pumping caused the skin on my shaft to expand both girth-wise and length-wise. Thankfully, this has not yet “restored” my foreskin, but I do not want it to be stretched any further length-wise.
So, I adopted what many pumpers have always done (such as peforeal): I wrap the area from just below the glans to 1.5 inches below with coflex tape. This is the same wrap Monty recommends to be used with his PE weights, and I chose it because it does not hurt to remove (since it has no actual glue of any sort). I wrap about 10-11 inches quite tightly. Admittedly, this is somewhat difficult to get used to and does make the water pumping process somewhat more troublesome, but the benefits have been excellent.
-> I recommend that people with shapes similar to mine (baseball bat) do this. In the long wrong, it should make your penis symmetrical, by allowing more girth expansion throughout the shaft than at the top.
-> Even if you don’t have a baseball bat, a cone shape is preferable in my opinion and doing anything to increase base to midshaft girth over other girth will work towards that.
-> This prevents mushrooms, period.
-> This prevents more foreskin restoration through pumping - it seems to work quite well to this regard. Your skin will still get baggier, but not longer :D .
2. Some more comments on cold water pumping:
Generally, 2 medium sized cubes seem ideal for me, but this will differ depending on the tube size and penis size obviously. What is important is:
-> Do not cold water pump right after a hot session. Let the penis return to room temperature first. (It can be quite uncomfortable and painful if you don’t, as I have learned, and Firegoat confirmed for me via PM).
-> Use a cylinder 3-4 inches above your BPEL. Since ice floats, it’s quite perfect, but still important to keep that space between the glans and the ice.
Keep in mind the cold water method will promote healing significantly, reduce inflammation, etc. I’ve seen the effects myself, this is not some theoretic rambling. It’s very practical. Our goal is to increase our recovery rate - with everything else held equal, higher recovery rate = faster growth.
