Which one: Boston pump with sleeve or LA pump?

Hi every body.

I reached a platuea after 1 inch gain in length in 6 months. I like to add pumping routine and hopefully I will break the platuea.
I found these two brands and I will really appreciate it if you could help me in choosing one.

thank you again

I bought the lapdist one myself and I like it a lot, very reliable. If you do go with it, don’t buy the DVD, it doesn’t tell you anything you can’t find out here (what I was told by avocet8). Just go with the cylinder and the pump.

Hi glanzino,

I have both.

Though I like the LA Dist cylinder, I have to confess I use the Boston Pumps standard cylinder with the Sleeve Master most often. This is because the Sleeve Master doesn’t fit the LA Dist cylinder.

If money is an issue, I would recommend getting just the cylinder and the Sleeve Master from Boston Pumps, without any pump and getting this separately:

BRAKE BLEEDER KIT

Cylinder: $55.50
Sleeve Master: $16.00
Brake-bleeder pump: $17.99

For around $90 (+ whatever shipping) you’ll be all set.

That will give you a good brass pump with a gauge (important to folks new to pumping). I agree that you don’t need any DVD if you have Thunder's Place. :D

My personal feeling is that the Sleeve Master is comfortable and is much easier to get a good seal with - I can do so without lube. I really like it.

What size cylinder are you thinking about (what’s your base girth?)?

Before: I'd like to show you something I'm very proud of, but you'll have to move real close.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

Thank you all for your help.

Well my base girth is 5.25 but my head is around 5.75 and BPEL is 7 inch.

I think I will go for 2 inch diameter and 9 inch long.

Thank you again

If your base girth is 5.25” you will need a Sleeve Master for a 2” cylinder.

The length is fine.

For what it is worth, I just put together a similar system so I can tell you about US shipping costs — I do not know if there will be a difference to Toronto.

The Harbor Freight Brass Pump comes to around $25.00 with shipping.

Boston Pump charges a set rate of $10.95 for shipping.

You will also need the "male coupling" and about 3 feet of hose for your pump:

http://www.bost onpump.com/inde … ATS&Category=27

The hose is easy to find in your local hardware store, the coupling not easy to find at all.

I ordered both hose and coupling from mcmaster.com. Coupling was $1.35, 25 feet of hose (the smallest quantity available) was 13.80. Total with shipping was $18.80. gprent lists part numbers here for the male fitting and coupler — ignore the other parts he lists:

gprent - Lap pump = harbor freight tools pump

It probably would have been simpler to get the coupler from Boston Pump. Or just get the coupler form mcmaster. And in either case, get hose at the hardware store. Ah well, live and learn.

By the way I ordered all on Sunday night. McMaster delivered Tuesday. HF shipped Tueday. I don’t think Boston Pump has shipped yet — but they will, they are a good company.

Thank you again.

I had a feeling that the sleeve one is more comfortable and I think I am going to go with Mr. Happy suggestion and buy the full package from Boston.

I really appreciate your help.

Just one more question.

at the moment I am hunting for flaccid gain since I have relatively short flaccid. Can you guys recommend me any routine aiming flaccid lengtha and girth.

Sorry for asking lot of questions, I am still newbie at least in pumping.

How long have you been PE’ing and what is your current routine?

I have been making flaccid gains w the old standards - stretches, jelqs, heat.

(By the way — Did you see that thread Vacuum Pumping 101? I am new to pumping too, and it sounds like the best way to start is to follow the routine outlined there in order to get acclimated to pumping — those are my plans for the near future)

Be sure to get the package that has the pump with the Pressure Gauge — you will need that to make sure you are pumping in safe range. Ah, now I visited the site and I see that it does include that pump:

For flaccid length, consider Fowfers and Bed Fowfers as part of your routine. I like to pump just before bedtime if possible, then Bed Fowfer after that to hold things in an extended position as things cool down and I fall asleep.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

That’s exactly what I do too…:)

Well, I thought pumping had a good effect on flaccid more than erect length.

So you guys saying I have to go back to manual exercises for flaccid gain.

Hey sta-kool, Im trying to find the male coupling that attaches to the top of the Boston pump.

Ive been searching around mcmaster.com, but can’t locate the “male coupling”.

Would you happen to have a link to the coupling.

Thanks.

I think you can find it in boston site. Have you checked there?

I don’t have my cylinder yet so I cannot guarantee 100% that it fits.

But from what I understand the cylinder vendors use the same female coupling. I will post back here when I get the cylinder to confirm.

As glanzino points out, you can purchase it from Boston Pump when you order your cylinder. If I was doing it again, I probably would do that as I did not save that much money with mcmaster when I run the numbers.

ON EDIT — by the way I should mention I found out that Boston Pump sells on ebay. Their “Buy It Now” cylinder prices are a few dollars cheaper than on the website, and the shipping is $5.95. The ebay name is Boston Pump. Or do a search for something like “boston penis cylinder” and ebay will spit back their current buy it nows. Personally I bought from the website even though it cost a little more.
