I actually do my jelqs once I get back in my room using lotion or Vaseline. Thankfully no dry skin yet! Thanks for the links man I appreciate it. I use the V grip when it comes to manual stretches. If it weren’t for those there’s no way I’d be able to hold a stretch in the shower. I’ve tried the newbie routine a few times in years past with no luck. I’d accredit that to the fact that I didn’t have a routine set up. I was inconsistent, didn’t take the time to learn, and hell didn’t even consider using heat. Saw a reply under Mike03016’s Routine from tntjockey and loved his constructive criticism. I’m going to be making slight adjustments:

1. “Get off the clock.” I’ve been so focused on maintaining a solid schedule. From my morning workout to PE, to class, to playing basketball in the late afternoon, to everything else. I’ll be more sporadic about my shower times that way my unit shouldn’t be able to adjust so easily.

2. I need to maintain an emphasis on the “FEEL” of a workout. In my prior stints, I would simply just try to finish the workout. I’d do exactly what the routine said and carry on with my day. There would be times where I would put on TV or music and not pay much attention. I need to be sure that what I’m doing feels right. If that means I get engorged during a stretch, then stop, let the erection go down, then continue.

3. Ensure that I’m taking all the measures that I can take. I believe that the reason why my second set of stretches is so, so much better than the first is because of how warmed up I am. I don’t seem to be engorged at all. My unit feels extremely elastic like it should. I can truly feel and see the stretch. I either need to soak in the shower a little bit longer before starting the stretches or go out and purchase something like a heating pad. I should already be moderately warmed up before hopping in the shower I feel like. Following the workouts maybe I could incorporate an ACE bandage-like mentioned in tntjockey’s response. I’m not exactly clamping or pumping, but blood flow to that area after a workout is never a bad thing. After I finish my jelqs I’ll put one on and go walk the campus.

4. Have realistic goals. I want a huge cock just like most of us on here, but that can’t be the only goal set in stone. I need checkpoints to ensure that I’m making steady progress towards where I want to be. “Another thing, do not shoot for inches, but for a 1/4 of an inch at a time, once that is reached, celebrate that and do another 1/4 inch, again and again, but to have a high goal will set you up for disappointment. Reach a realistic and continue.”

I know to most of you guys this is just basic information and ideology surrounding PE so I apologize. Thanks again to tntjockey and the rest of the thunders. My confidence would be a shell of what it is now if it weren’t for this amazing website.

I was trying to get the heat aspect right because I read a post saying that, I believe, 104 degrees Fahrenheit and up is where you want to be. I mean sure when you’re in a hot tub it feels great, but when you try to get it that hot in the shower it burns like hell. Thankfully for me the skin on my hand and unit are still intact. One positive though is the fact that I hit peak elasticity. Also introduced the ACE bandage today after a quick run to Walmart. It works but because of my turkey neck it doesn’t quite do it justice. I may just stick to edging afterwards like I did today. I probably went a little too long because I’m 100 percent positive I gave myself blue balls. Overall today was pretty abusive, but I did find my limit in a few areas. You live and learn.. Back at it tomorrow.

Edged three times last night and unfortunately came on the third go round. I was upset for sure but one nut in three weeks can’t hurt anybody. Especially considering I have the sex drive of someone like Prince. Tried to find the sweet spot with the heat as well. Everybody knows how the hot tub kind of stings but in a good way. Tried to replicate that but in the shower. Didn’t make the water anywhere near as hot as it was yesterday. Off tomorrow and back on Sabado.

Man, I’m having a rough stretch, to say the least.

I woke up and did PE since I got up later than I typically do, so I figured it was a time my body hadn’t seen before. Boy oh boy was that not the worst stretch ever. Maybe I should’ve moved around a little because my unit was plump throughout the stretches. I tried to counteract that by doing small reverse jelqs to push the blood out. It worked pretty decently for the most part. I still can’t figure this heat thing out simply because I don’t want to fry myself like I did the other day, but I also don’t want the water not hot enough. Once I finished that I came back to my room for jelqs. Those weren’t half bad, so then I transitioned into edging because I still don’t have an effective method to keep the blood in after PE. I came. I honestly wish you guys could see the utter disgust on my face. I did it on purpose 100 percent. I know I could’ve stopped I just didn’t have any type of restrain. My EQ’s were already kind of low for reasons unknown. I have a makeshift wrap on now to try to contain some blood but at this point what is the use? Also I’m sure I’ll be getting sent home soon so I need to figure out how I’m going to PE back at home. Today sucked, but like one of my old coaches told me in goal: “I want my goalies to have bad memory. So what you got scored on. Give the ball back to ref and forget it even happened.” Hopefully I can close out this week of PE strong tomorrow.

Great session today! Feels like I came out of last weeks slump. Slept through an eight AM class, but considering the whole lesson plan is online I’m sure I’ll be fine. Rolled out of bed closer to 12 and headed for the showers. My unit was stubborn this morning-let me tell you. Had an extra long warm-up but I just stayed engorged. Finally, after countless reverse jelqs, hot water, and two upward stretches the man finally gave way. Throughout the first set, I was still a tad bit plump although I don’t think it effected the stretch. As I progressed through the routine they felt better and better. I tried being a little static as well. For instance, when I would take my flaccid to the max stretch length I would kegel, while simultaneously pulling a little bit harder. I guess you could consider it a slight variation of a JAI stretch. It must’ve worked because I felt kind of sore at one point. Besides a past lig pop this was probably one of the more exciting moments in my relatively short PE career. Following that I came back to my room and did some jelqs. I believe Bradbartender said on one of his threads that he put emphasis on really trying to dig deep into the penis before doing the jelq. To wrap it up, I edged for a little over 30 minutes. PONR is something I definitely need to get rid of. It’s not an addiction by any means, but I know the upside of not watching it is immense. ACE bandage is on and I’m currently grinding out all my work for the week in attempts to be all done by Wednesday. Sorry for the rant you guys it just felt good to get back in a groove. Back at it tomorrow bright and early.

I have a suggestion for you, and I’m interested to hear your and others’ opinions on it. I’m not so sure if the shower is the best way to warm up, although it certainly is better than nothing. When I get out of the shower into a fairly cold or room temperature room, my dick shrivels up fairly quickly, and I do not feel ready for PE. Why does this happen? Well my hypothesis is that while the shower does elevate my body heat during the shower, it does not keep my body temperature high for very long after since the shower does not increase my heart rate, and my blood doesn’t pump through my body at an increased rate. It certainly warms up your skin and your body while in the shower, and I stretch sometimes in the shower because I feel good and loose, but stretching right after the shower in a cold room does not feel very good for me. Again, while any warmup is better than no warmup, you want your warmup to actually keep you warm for as long as possible in order to have the most productive workout.

I think it might potentially be a better idea, especially since I assume you are somewhere with warm weather right now, to go for a walk or an easy jog with relatively loose underwear or boxers (compression shorts just make my dick shrivel up) as a warmup. I know that if I go into a cold room after a good aerobic workout, I will still feel warm and loose for about 20 minutes as opposed to coming out of the shower, where I will almost immediately get cold again. This might even look like doing a little hit workout in your dorm room as a warmup if going outside isn’t possible. Yesterday, I walked outside in the heat for 10 minutes as my warmup, and my dick felt softer, bigger, and fluffier than ever for a long period of time which a scalding hot shower would not have achieved for me. The warmup is super important, but if you aren’t warm during your workout, then the warmup serves no purpose.

To summarize my suggestion: If you don’t have a space heater or something artificial to keep your body warm during your workout as many of the vets recommend to people all the time, it might be a better idea to find some way to warmup that will keep you warm for a long period of time rather than something where the effects fade away very quickly. That is why I suggest some sort of light jog/walk as opposed to the hot shower. You could also try re-warming your penis every 5-10 minutes during a workout with a warm cloth or a cup of warm water in order to “make the warmth last”.

Let me know if any of these thoughts might be of use to you; feel free to ignore and just do what works best for you!

Downward you’re like the older brother I never had. Thanks for all the replies on these I really look forward to reading writing other than my own. The workout is something I like to do before my shower. It’s not quite hiit because I’m sure nobody wants to hear stomping around at seven in the morning. I do get shoulders, chest, and abs in thankfully. If I don’t PE after that I typically play basketball every day in the late afternoon then I’ll shower. I get the blood flowing before PE or at least I try to. I’ve also started doing spins, tugs, and pulls before I begin the stretching phase. I do my stretches in the shower like with the water cascading in the area of my package. I try to get good pressure from the shower head and aim it right above my penis and the surrounding area where the ligs should be at. Should I still be trying other means of heat? The reasoning behind stretching in the shower was consistent heat throughout the stretch. Eventually (and this is a ways out) but I want to definitely invest in an infrared lamp. Jelqs are the only exercise (unless you count edging) that I do when I get back and go to my room. I’m not necessarily worried about shriveling temporarily because I’m going to have blood back there shortly. I appreciate you for taking time out your day for this I really do. Solid day today. Routine occurred a little later than normal. Sometimes I really feel like I’m not doing this the right way. I know, I know it’s only been-what-10 days of active PE? I just feel like my past stints toughened my skin and I can’t gain. It’s a poor mindset I know, but when you don’t see the good PI or don’t necessarily feel “larger” it makes you question if you’re doing the right thing. Anyways enough sorrow, I’ll be back on Friday for day 11. Until then you guys have a good one!

I don’t know if you’ve already seen Finding xeno: a penis tale, but it is my personal favorite on the whole site. His ideas on the longevity of gains and his analytical approach to everything PE is very interesting to read.
