Alexeris Starting PE
Hi everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for this great forum.
I’ve been aware of PE for at least 20 years, since I was pretty young. I actually bought a pump from the Newart website many years ago and used it some, but never in a consistent manner. I would always get a huge doughnut. I eventually gave up and kind of decided PE was more of a fetish than a reality.
Anyway, over the past few weeks, I started thinking about PE again and found Thunder’s Place. After reading the testimonials and some of the theories of how PE works, I decided it did seem to be possible. I started the Newbie routine about 3 weeks ago.
So far, I haven’t had any definite gains in BPEL or EG, but something did happen that blew my mind. I had checked flaccid stretched length before starting. It was slightly over 6”. After doing manual stretches and jelqing for about 2 weeks, I decided to measure the stretched length again. When I measured it was 6.75 inches! I did it right after a stretching session so probably not “permanent.” Still this was shocking to me. I measured again a few days later and got 7” FSL. Hopefully this is a harbinger of gains in BPEL that will come soon.
The increases in stretched length gave me a lot of optimism, which may have been a double-edged sword. I think I started overdoing things and got a minor injury.
A few days ago, I noticed some pain in the top of my penis when stretching. When I investigated a bit more, I noticed a small “bump” maybe 1-2 mm in diameter. It was under the skin on the top of my penis in the area of the sulcus between the glans and the shaft. I don’t see any definite thrombosed veins or “cords” under the skin. At first it was pretty tender. Not entirely sure but I think it’s a small lymphocele.
I stopped all PE and the bump seems to be getting better. It’s no longer tender and also seems a bit smaller and softer.
Now I’m trying to figure out what caused this and how to prevent it from happening again. Here are my theories:
1. I started doing a one minute stretch every time I pee’d followed by some flaccid jelq’s I was doing this with no warm up. I started this maybe 3 days before I noticed the bump. Maybe stretching with no warm up was a bad idea.
2. I built up my stretch time from 30 sec to 1 minute over about 2 weeks. I usually grip just behind the glans. I had noticed with the longer stretch times that there would be some swelling/puffiness around the urethral opening and some discoloration of the tip of the glans. I did some massaging of the glans after each stretch and this would get better. Maybe the grip and length of the stretch caused the problem.
3. I started jelqing for 5 minutes and built up to 20 minutes. Usually 18-22 strokes per minute. Not sure if jelqing contributed to the problem. My intuition is that it was a combination of 1 and 2 above.
I hope to get back to PE in a few days. I’m going to wait for this bump to resolve first.
Does anyone have advice or feedback on what I may have done wrong?
Thanks
Alex
