Went well. Basically have settled into modulating the heat based on the feel right now. Maybe we’ll settle into a standardized sequence or maybe not. The whole shaft is nice and warm to the touch at the end. No thoughts on raising tension yet I want that process to be slower and steady.

Was able to maintain the high heat for the duration. The pattern I’m seeing is that multiple days lead to a higher skin tolerance for the high heat setting. Glans condition at session end was excellent and perceived tension was light. Shaft was warm throughout at end of session.

Have to think about when to add tension. Already have 4 sessions at 18%. Thinking either every couple weeks or X number of sessions at a particular level. I just do not want the progression to be too fast. Slower and steady is the theme for this campaign. Now thinking 5-6 sessions / week rather than the 4.

Been taking Saturdays off as that’s nearly always a hookup and EQ has been through the roof. Wondering if this protocol provides better EQ even on session days. We’ll have to test that.

Everything went great today. Great attachment, glans position well forward in the cradle, except for the heat tolerance. At 28.5 minutes it was intolerable and we had to cycle turning it off/on and only on the low setting when it was on. I have no insights as to why the variance in heat tolerance day to day. Shaft was thoroughly warm throughout to the touch and the end of the session.

This was a 4th day in a row and it looks to me that the glans tissues at the attachment need a break so I’m now thinking that 5 sessions per week will be the max. 4 was working so 4-5 sessions per week.

And while the 18% tension was well tolerated and we gained forward position in the cradle, I’m figuring another 10-14 days before adding additional tension.

I understand that others have been able to accelerate progress with heat but that is not my objective here. I want to make sure I’m not progressing too fast. This campaign is going to be like watching paint dry. Keeping in mind that at this juncture of the journey we’ve only added 1/4” to the extender and that’s really all we’re looking to realize here. I think it’s important to appreciate that perspective.

That said, I have to say I’m pretty optimistic.

Continued challenges with the heat tolerance. Last week after the 4 days in a row a blister formed, it’s healing and not interfering with anything but I will not do 4 days in a row again. Screwed up the attachment 2 days in a row, had to reset 18 minutes in. Developed a slight burn at one of the hot spots on the shaft, so kept the heat on low, till the last 10 minutes. I need to add additional padding there, I think the padding thinned out and needs more protection. Not a great start to the week. but we got something in. Felt like a good stretch at the end.

Added additional padding to both hotspots of heating pad. I just wanted to note it and see how things go from here. If anyone is interested, I’m just using a band aid, cutting out the center padding with a scissors and using the 2 adhesive ends as a cushion over the 2 hot spots on the TherMedic farIR heat pad.
One layer workout in the beginning but over time it thinned out needing additional protection.

We’ll see if 2 layers does the trick.

No question there is better terminal strain achieved when higher heat settings are utilized.

Okay so the additional padding helped with the hot spots for sure. To what degree I won’t know for sure until the skin heals at the minor burn site. Much better heating during this session and there was improved tension increase during the cooldown, which I take as a good sign. 24% tension was well tolerated, will stay there for several weeks. I did go 4 days in a row but the Monday session was abbreviated so that’s why. Not something I plan to continue with. Glans condition post session was excellent. And while I am not reporting it the terminal strain compared to baseline continues to increase with every tension increase. I do think that is a good sign for sure, but the true measure in my opinion is whether this campaign with the introduction of the Far-IR heat will yield a result beyond what had been previously achieved.

Secondarily I want to see where we are in the process of diminishing returns.

There was a question posed of when it is enough? I think the question really is one of how far past that point do we continue. From my perspective and from what I’ve observed, it’s the point at which the incremental gains are so diminished that the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. My reasoning for that is because I have no doubt in my mind that there would be a subset of those engaged in PE that would continue past the limits of size we observe here, if it were not for that.

Heat was not well tolerated today. Everything else went well. Glans condition at end was good, healing of minor burn proceeding well.
One anecdotal observation is that the flaccid hang seems to be generally improved, which is uncharacteristic for me, maybe related to the traction under heat? Was not a goal but a welcomed development. We’ll see if it persists.

Higher tension was tolerated well. High heat was tolerated better. Tension buildup during cool down was appreciably more and persisted all the way to the end of the session, making me think a slightly longer cooldown than 7.5 minutes is needed. In today’s session it was 10 minutes because I could not tolerate even the low heat so at 50 minutes called it on the heat yielding a completely accidental observation.

Based on this experience it would seem that 40 minutes of heat is plenty assistance and the cooldown needs to be at least 10 minutes. Thinking that next time 40 minutes of high heat from 7.5 minutes in turning off at 47.5 minutes and then12.5 minutes of cooldown to test.

Glans condition excellent at the end and based on today it seems we’re making a little progress.
