One thing that I absolutely HATE about taking a break from PE is that size always seems to go down a little bit, and girth in particular. It’s been a full week since I did any PE. The break is having its intended effect. Sensitivity and functionality are definitely returning to my penis. When I tried getting hard just now though, my shaft seemed to feel thinner than before. Thinner even than yesterday. It didn’t seem to be a full blown erection though. The response is still somewhat weak at times. That’s to be expected I guess. It might just be bad EQ. It’s seeming like I will see my FWB tomorrow though, and hopefully sex happens. I will do a PE session on Thu, and then start PE up again officially on Sunday. Once again, PE sill be Sun, Tue, Thu; three days instead of four, and no consecutive PE days. This will hopefully allow me to keep making gains while allowing me to have sex.

the effect of the decrease in size surely will only be optical, make a measurement match!

As you see the break is giving positive feedback and as you say the erection maybe was not at its maximum and that’s why your penis seemed thinner. You know it happens when the EQ is not perfect, so take it calmly and shake off the anxiety. I think the three days of PE is fine. Just think about the sex you will have and it will be terrific! :D Your FWB (sorry are those her initials?) will be super satisfied :-)

FWB stands for friend with benefits. It’s a relationship where two people are not lovers. They are just friends but still have sex.

Thank you for the advice and encouragement. Things have become very strange though. After I made that post yesterday, I was able to get a better erection. I do not keep track of my girth by sight but rather how much my fingers close around the shaft. When I got that better erection, my girth was more where I expected it to be. This morning however when I checked my morning wood, it seemed thinner. This is very strange, because morning wood is usually a very strong erection that has been going for some time before I get out of bed, and that gives an opportunity for max expansion. It’s almost like girth is shrinking noticably from one day to the next. So confusing! Anyway, I’m trying not to think of size too much right now. My focus is on being able to have sex again, and I know that as I continue to do PE, I will reach a permanent size I am satisfied with. It’s just a matter of time.

Sorry but what are your dimensions? Why do you make tally only with the fingers of your hand? you may have a feeling that is not exact.

I haven’t measured recently. Every time I have measured in the past, I have gotten discouraged because I always thought I was bigger than I was. This time I am waiting until one year of PE to measure. That is why I am relying on other things to determine my girth. I don’t even know what my girth is right now.

I have a theory regarding the apparent decrease in girth I’m experiencing. I may not be losing as much girth as I thought.

When I am actively doing PE, my penis at all times, whether soft or hard seems to be more engorged than normal. This effect lasts for a long time and seems to take a week or so to fade.

As I have mentioned, I am not taking hard measurements until I hit one year of PE. This means that as far as gauging my size increase, I only have what I see to go off of and how my penis feels in my hand. For girth, I have been using how much my fingers close around my shaft to try and keep track of where I’m at. Here’s the thing though. Sometimes it feels much thinner. I notice though it often seems to look pretty thick, even while feeling thinner. I think this is because due to my penis getting less “fluffed”, my erections are softer, unless I am super hard. If I lightly wrap my fingers around the shaft without applying any pressure, I notice there still seems to be a good amount of space between my thumb and pointer finger. I think my erections are just less hard in the absence of PE, but the girth is still there.

you have been clear about the reasons not to measure, I advise you to be more serene towards the measurements, don’t stress too much, if you have decided to do it after one year of PE then don’t think about it all the time by questioning yourself, live it more lightly. Then you know the variations and sensations of the penis are so many and at so many different times when you are there. Even a little anxiety makes you change the state and expansion of the penis.
Important that you proceed quietly with PE, that the EQ and erections are good even if this you don’t experience them constantly don’t worry this happens to me too. Friend! enjoy your meeting with FWB peacefully and with lust :-) then tell us how it went, bye :up:

It has now been nearly two weeks since I last did PE, and I am happy to report that when I have a good erection, my penis still looks and feels nice and girthy. Some size of course has been lost, because of course at any given time some size during PE is temporary, but overall I am very pleased. I am not done yet though! I still have a long way to go to reach my minimum target size. Still hoping that sometime in the distant future I can reach 8 inches long.

great with the break that you have good feelings about your penis and that you are satisfied. Until you can cement the gains some things are always lost after breaks. Surely the work for us in PE is long, so continue with tenacity and you will certainly get to 20 cm., I wish you :up:

Starting up PE again tomorrow after a nearly two week break. Pretty excited. I am surprised and happy at how much of my size seems to have stuck over the break, although I have definitely lost some. I’m looking forward to continuing to push my unit into bigger and bigger territory. I have the uncomfortable feeling that only three days a week vs four might not be enough … but before I had a dick that was non-functional for sex (missed getting laid twice in recent weeks due to that bullshit) and barely functional for masturbation and PE, so it’s probably just my head messing with me. I feel like having no consecutive days where I do PE could result in reduced gains due to no cumulative effects of back to back sessions, but I’m always very intense with my jelqs, so I think it’ll probably be fine. I’ll see I guess. Will provide an update at the end of next week.

come on start PE again with a peaceful spirit and don’t nag yourself with non-positive thoughts. One great accomplishment you have found is that you have maintained your measurements and this is very important. Start with the three days a week and then gradually according to how things are going take them to four days. What’s important is to do them well, not continuing daily doesn’t reduce the gains because it’s important to maintain within the week a certain rhythm and then it’s a long pre-course journey.

I have some time before I absolutely must be in bed, so I will try to post a quick update on how things went tonight.

Tonight’s session was absolutely brutal. The session itself was good quality, but I had significant obstacles to overcome. For starters, it seems that I was stretching too hard right off the bat. My old work injury somehow became more aggravated than it ever was when I started up PE again after a two week healing period. Where I got the cuts on the head, there appeared what looked to be two blood blisters. There was no significant pain or discomfort, so I kept going, but I think I need to be more careful with the stretching portion. I also had some difficulty getting hard, likely due to the stretching.

Some stretches really hurt my hands. Both of my hands are acting up today, and honestly I think they were worse tonight than they have ever been before a PE session. The jelqing part itself was pain. I honestly didn’t think I could get through it, and I set for myself a minimum goal of 100 jelqs for the session. By the time I reached 100 jelqs, the pain had subsided enough that I felt like I could keep going, and I made it to 200. Tomorrow is an off day as I have gone to a three day schedule with no consecutive sessions. This is to hopefully avoid fatigue and overwork of the kind that prevented me from having sex in recent weeks. I’ll see how things go. And now I must go to bed. I hope my hands feel better tomorrow or work could be a fucking bitch.

I honestly don’t know yet about this three day schedule. It’s true I’m just coming back from a two week break, and I’ve only had two sessions this week since I started up again, but I honestly feel like some of the expansion I expect to have at any given time from the PE is missing. I’ll give it some time and see how things go. I might go back to a four day schedule but perhaps doing fewer jelqs. Or not. It’s not like I actually need a penis right now that’s functional for sex. My supposed FWB is always too busy to see me lately.

Need advice. What's more important?

Is the number of sessions per week more important, or the amount of exercise per session?

I was previously doing PE four times a week. Ten min of stretching and 200 jelqs. Doesn’t sound like much, but as my penis has become conditioned to PE, the intensity of my exercises has increased in response.

This was actually too much, and my penis started to become basically non-functional. I decided to take a two week break, and when I started up again I would follow a three day schedule with a rest day in between each and the weekend off.

The problem is that at any given time, my penis doesn’t seem to have the "fluff" it used to have before. It seems like maybe having no consecutive sessions could be decreasing the effectiveness since there’s no cumulative effect? I’m wondering if maybe it would be better to go back to four days and do less instead?

It is only my first week back after the break, so I will go ahead with this schedule for a little while to see how things go. In the meantime any advice is appreciated.

What exactly do you mean by "fluff"? Since I want my dick to be as hard as possible when aroused, that sounds bad. As far as advice, I would stop PE until I could get a full erection, anytime I was really horny. If you’re already there, proceed with caution. Maybe more rest days. Anytime you have trouble with the normal functions of your penis, that means it’s time to back off. Listen to your body!
