How Long Till I See Extender Gains

Only been extending for about a week lol. 4hrs a day at a mild tension. Maybe alittle less than my fully stretched flaccid. I plan on adding a bit more tension in 2 weeks and keeping it at that for good. But yea, I’m told that time in lighter/mild traction is more effective than short time in strong traction. Given my routine, when can I expect to see my first gain? Thanks

Everybody is different. For some folks it takes months. Some see small gains almost right away. I second the idea that low tension is better than high tension. Had my best gains with the extender arm an inch and a half shorter than my BPEL. Seemed super weird to me too. You are doing a PE workout before wearing the extender, right?

Actually I’m not doing any other PE workout. I’m very skeptical about PE in the first place, and very cautious. I actually went to my urologist before even copping the extender just to make sure it was safe. I’m not saying the manual exercises don’t work or anything, I’m just not down to do anything to my unit that isn’t clinically shown to be safe. Outside of extenders, PE is pretty much anecdotal.

If you do it everyday for a continuous time at an appropriate intensity you will have a high chance of gain with extending. At some point if you dont use varieties it will probably stall.

I was progressing doing it daily for 4+ hours but only when I added helicopter stretches inbetween sets it really took off and I gained 1 inch of usable dick length in about 2-3 months which stayed with me forever now.

It’s good to be cautious and you must be safe but I can tell you that people with your mindset(in the PE context) wont succeed gaining.

Using an extender daily for 4+h is hard to manage(if you want to gain) and needs a lot of believe.

Why do you say it needs alot of belief? If I extend at an appropriate traction for 4hrs a day months on end shouldn’t I be garaunteed some type of gain? Anyhow, I’m mostly looking to straighten my curve. I’m not really looking to add an entire inch. I’d be happy with just a couple of millimeters as I’m only slightly smaller than where I’d like to be. I’m not out here tryna be cockzilla

Question. What would you consider an appropriate intensity? My nbel is about 4.9-5.1ish max. Rn I’m stretching my flaccid about 4.7inches. Would that be enough? I’ve only just started about a week ago and want to take it slow.

Yeah go slow and get your tissue used to the general idea. Of course over time you will have to increase the intensity.
That is also where the believe part is needed cause it can be cumbersome and you might feel a slight soreness or unease.(never pain!)

It can affect the pelvic floor and erection quality negativly (dont clench your muscles too much down there while extending)

At some point you probably need to stretch beyond your BPFSL or/and put in a lot of consecutive hours(4+) with only short breaks inbetween.
Dont do it at once but ease into your highest stretch each day.

With the newbie routine a lot of people got so called newbie gains rather fast. to gain a lot you have to invest a lot.

Thanks. Yea right now I’d say I’m probably stretched slightly longer than my BPFSL. I’m gonna stay here for a month or two and if I see no gains I’m adding another .5cm to start. And I guess I see what you mean with the belief factor. I’m still not convinced any of this even works so it’s with much hope and faith I throw this extender on 4hrs every day.

Also, why does stretching supposedly lower EQ?

The tissue is affected and not able to stay 100% hard as you stretched it elastically.
That said it’s not the same and some people can get an EQ boost from it too..

Thanks. Makes sense. Last question. How many breaks should I take when wearing an extender, and for how long. My biggest fear is nerve damage. I’m black so it’s hard for me to tell if I’m going purple but what time frame would you recommend if I’m to stay on the safe side? I was thinking a 15 minute break every 45 mins?

My first gains come after 4 months wearing extender. I wearing after second months for 8-12 hr per day every day. I make little break after each one hr for 5-6 min, make little massage on shaft and cock head and put on extender again for one or one and half hour and again massage.

I say that’s from my opinion buddy.

Keep a log and try to keep good records it’ll come in handy later. There was a study by Levine, it was a small sample but he found that the group that extended at least 3 hours a day showed gains at 3 months. Here’s the study:
Combination of penile traction, intralesional verapamil, and oral therapies for Peyronie’s disease - PubMed

This was a study in which penile traction was added to Verapamil injections for patients with Peyronies. At three months the patients without the traction device lost length. At three months the patients that used the extender for less than 3 hours- on average maintained their length and the patients that extended for 3+ hours on average - showed gains of .6cm.

I would think that if you extended consistently for 4+ hours for 3 months, you should see something.

I agree with records and logs. It helps to motivate and allows you to look backwards and make good decisions for moving forward.

I personally use excel, I have attached a few screen shots of my workbook and worksheets.

Every minute of every exercise tracked back to June 16. This also allows you to begin to play with forecasting, which I admit is hard to accurately predict, but fun none the less.

I can look at and compare time spent by exercise and average rest time between what I call “measurement lock dates”, which has been interesting.

With all that said, some will look at tracking all of this and say it’s overkill, which I don’t necessarily disagree with. It all depends on what motivates you and how you best approach challenges. I am a data and numbers guy, so that’s how I approach it.
