Past me is a damn liar! Life got busy and ended up starting again a month or so after this post. I didn’t end up reporting it here and stopped again a week or two after starting. I guess that’s just how it goes. I am back at it again. While I cannot say that it was a proper decon, as I did pump for a week, to try maintain a positive outlook on it I’ll claim it.

I have done 4 pumping sessions this week prior to this post. The last session I tried something new. I found FixerUpper’s routine page and figured it worth trying it. It’s a bit complex to type out, so I’ll just link to his thread: (Intro/History/Routine/Progress). I should mention that, similar to FixerUpper, I am now also including 10mins or so of Manual Claps/Jelqs/Ulis under a NIR lamp prior to pumping.

The last measurements reported on this thread is IPL 17.8cm and packed height 7cm. Last night saw 18.1cm and 8cm packed height - both new records as far as I remember (especially packed height)! So the most sensible plan is to continue with this pump method. There was some discoloration in the same location I mentioned a few posts back and it is still here the following day. So something to keep an eye on. But right now I am willing to put up with it to see where it goes.

Changing the pumping routine is not the only change I will make. 2x per week I’ll replace pumping with a manual clamping session, again as outlined in FixerUpper’s thread (FixerUpper - Intro/History/Routine/Progress). Additionally, sessions used to be predominantly done in the evening. However, I feel that to actually see progress I’ll need to keep this up more often so will be doing both AM and PM sessions starting from next week.

There’s more to talk about, but let’s leave that for another time.

Schedule Adjustments

Decided on skipping last nights session. The discoloration was still very present along with *loads* of petechiae, so decided on just some firegoat rolls in front of a NIR lamp. I think it helped as I woke up with both effects almost gone completely. Otherwise there are no negative PIs to report.

Due to the above, I think it’s wise to have a backup plan in case I am forced into a 1on-1off schedule. On the “off” days I’ll first try manual clamping sessions and see how that affects the discoloration. If it makes it worse then I’ll likely do manual length exercises instead. Also, until I am a bit more conditioned to the training regime, I am leaving out the morning sessions (though I may do some firegoat rolls under NIR).

So right now my planned week looks like:
Mon: Pump
Tue: Clamp or length
Wed: Pump
Thur: Clamp or length
Fri: Pump
Sat: OFF
Sun: OFF

So I have completed two more pump sessions since I last posted.

Both times I have had similar IPL to 18.1cm, which is good, however, the packed height was around 5-6cm. Not so good… I’ll try alter a few things to see if I can recapture the original process. Otherwise full steam ahead into the new week.

Had a thought that one of my daily supplements is 400mg of unspecified collagen type(s). I started supplementing this around July last year, though sporadically. I have also previously supplemented with collagen from around April 2021.

I am trying to determine if the concept of supplementing collagen is potentially detrimental to our PE efforts. For now, I will cease taking this supplement and observe. Mainly posting this short message so I have a date I can refer back to.

Well, I found the answer in a single session…

This session I noticed some of my scrotum was pulled into the tube. Lo and behold the packed height was 7cm, though I don’t think there was 7cm of scrotum, more that it somehow triggered more packing. Scrotum suction is likely related to how the tube is positioned on my pelvis, so will have to work on that (as I can’t see it being a good thing).

Otherwise a good session.

Really great pump session this evening. Same IPL and easily pushing 7cm packed height without pulling in extra skin (or at least less skin). Think I’m starting to dial in this routine now. Might slightly tone it down in following sessions this week as I think I need a bit more conditioning to the low pressure.

Otherwise I think it’s cleaner for the thread to update on routine progress here weekly rather than daily. Or if something interesting comes up.

This morning I tried pumping with a silicone cock ring (as per Diktril’s routine - P3 - Week 6): A 4min pump @ -3 to -4”Hg. I didn’t feel much more expansion than without. After I went for 2 sets of 5mins @ -9”Hg. Figured why not.

Generally I am happy with my progress and expansion, but I am not happy with the discoloration I am seeing. More annoying is that it is not uniform but localised on the right CC in a “patch”. It does fade, but not completely and seems to be gradually getting worse. Completely unacceptable. I might have to try another approach (possibly long duration with low pressures). Will update.

Unfortunately a little too slow to edit my previous post, but that gave me time to flesh out this post a little more. I have decided that the most logical method to approach this is:

1) Pump with the current routine and get discoloration.
2) Replace subsequent session(s) with manual girth exercises (Uli, Jelq, etc) until discoloration dissipates.
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2.

From past experience I expect that any discoloration dissipates completely after 2 full days of rest. So for example if I pump on Monday I can confidently pump again on Thursday. If we follow this logic through, we find a 3 week cycle:

Week 1: Mon ~ Thur ~ Sun
Week 2: Wed ~ Sat
Week 3: Tue ~ Fri

I will stop pumping immediately (I will do manual girth work though), and starting from this Monday, I will repeat the above cycle twice (minimum 14 pumping sessions). If I find that discoloration has dissipated enough to pump earlier than scheduled, then I will and the remaining schedule will change. The idea is that hopefully I’ll build some sort of “discoloration resistance” and the interval days between pumping sessions will reduce, eventually reaching 0 (e.g. no discoloration after a pump session). If the interval does not change by the beginning of week 7 then I’ll stop and reevaluate.

It’s unfortunate, but after I last posted a caught a cold. I’m nearly fully recovered and I would have pumped tonight but I took some cold medication which I forgot contained pain killers - so no go. Will have to delay until tomorrow then change the schedule.

Otherwise I have also decided that I will reintroduce extending. Just regular unheated extending though, not the precise heat+strain variant from earlier (IndyMan - Indyman’s Journey). While I prefer the more precise method, I want to be able to do this passively while I work.

The only catch is, as I have mentioned previously (IndyMan - Indyman’s Journey), my current sleeve is a bit too large and at maximum extension I lose vacuum in the cup. I have read of people gently tying string around the sleeve to help prevent loss of vacuum. I will do something similar, though I will use a weak elastic band plus a drawstring clip instead of a knot - I feel that this approach will be more effective AND safer (I don’t like the idea of a knot).

I’ll give the elastic method a test in either a morning or evening session where I can observe vacuum and blood flow.The last thing I want is for the band to cut off blood flow…

Only a short update.

Did a quick 30min morning test extending session. Either my pumping has increased my girth enough or the rubber band trick worked great. Either way no loss of suction or blood flow issues.

I’ll have to wake up earlier, but I’ll try aim for 60mins extending every morning. I think it’s also worth heating during this session. So I’ll add that in. But won’t do strain monitoring or anything.

Return of the Linear

This new pumping schedule isn’t working out at all! I missed the two sessions now, as my schedule is just a bit too erratic. I want to keep pumping when I get the opportunity AND I want to avoid bruising/discoloration. Looking back, I previously mentioned that when doing gprent’s linear pumping routine, having a 2min break between stages helped (The Fix). Perhaps my only solution is to revisit this routine, gradually lowering total vacuum over time and seeing how the discoloration responds. Given that I am already conditioned, I’ll start with -3”Hg and go to -8”Hg over 30mins.

Otherwise I have been successfully extending every morning. Increasing time from 30min to 50mins. Still no issues with loss of vacuum or blood flow. If there’s still no issues by Monday morning then I will feel confident extending during work hours.

A change in direction

After successfully trialing daytime extending I have decided to put girth work on hold and resume focus on length. I am simply missing too many sessions and length work is something a little more flexible. Plus I never reached my original mini-goal.

This week I have done 2x45min extending sessions during the day (separated by some hours). Mostly at around 1.6-2kg tension, though it will not be consistent since there is relaxation (I generally re-tension @ 10mins and 30mins). I will sometimes include an additional 50min extending session in the morning or at night; making total extending for each day at 140mins.

Generally over the coming weeks I’ll aim to increase each session to 1 hour, for a total of 3 hours per day. Also looking to increase tension to around 2.2kg (5lbs). When combined with 2min piss pulls (at least several through the course of a day), that should *hopefully* result in increasing length.

Cheeky Pump Session

Been extending all week on schedule, but decided to mix things up with a quick pump session today, with gprent’s linear routine from -3 to -8”Hg.

Noticed afterwards that all the petechiae were located roughly halfway up my shaft in a small band. Guessing this is the region just above where I packed the tube to (around 6cm). Curious if this indicates that this is the region experiencing greatest effect from the vacuum, and if so, can it be used somehow? Food for thought for later.

Otherwise there was still some discoloration in the usual place, though not as severe as previous. Not much edema and had enhanced flaccid for at least 4-5 hours.

Not sure I’ll make pumping a regular thing for now as length work is going great, but if I do, it’ll only be 1x per week I think.

Measured 17.0cm length and 12cm girth on the first of the month. So sitting at my current length record, not bad. Girth was a little disappointing… but I’ll come back to that another time I think. Interestingly enough my IPL record the last time I was at 17cm BPEL was 17.8cm. This time it is 18cm. Wonder if that is an indicator of anything?

I haven’t run with the extending routine for long enough to make any judgements yet, will see what next month brings and likely the one after that before reevaluating.

Unfortunately this method of extending makes for quite the boring progress log, since by design I only measure BPEL, BPFSL, and MSEG once a month. There’s no strain or stress increases to report, as they are not measured. The only thing I can really report is that I completed a session, or my weekly TUT. Something like that.

So, this progress log might be fairly quiet generally in the coming months unless I have something interesting come up.

That said…
The base of my extender is the C type (circular with a section missing). Up until now I have been extending upwards, since if I point downwards with too much force I simply push myself out of the device through the opening. I’m a bit slow to the party but I have only just realised that I CAN use my extender downward simply by rotating the top plate (where the vac cup attaches) and then rotate the whole extender. If I do not gain as much as I hope this month, then next month I might try extending downwards.

I might also look into getting some new springs, as these ones are feeling a bit worn out.
