But I completely agree with you that the best diagnostic tools should be utilized.
Doctors will test you for the most common problems first, high blood pressure, cholesterol, testosterone levels etc. If no problems there, test for next most common cause. If there are problems with the first tests, then you’ll have to sort them out first and see if the problem is still around. If so, move onto the next most common cause for your symptoms, and so on.
And if you think about it, it really makes the most sense to do it this way. But rest assured once all the more common causes of your symptoms have been ruled out, a doctor will be more than happy to test for the less common conditions like venous leakage. If they won’t then they are a shit doctor and you need to go to a different one.
