PE gave me irreversible ED

Deeppurple9/Azulvioleta there are indications in the literature that testosterone therapy may be effective in treating veno-occlusive problems. You should maybe inform your doctor/look for an endocrinologist for more info. Here’s a couple of example links to scientific papers reporting promising results:

Testosterone Undecanoate Restores Erectile Function in a Subset of Patients with Venous Leakage: A Series of Case Reports
Quote from the paper:
CONCLUSION: The observations made in these limited series of case reports suggest that testosterone improved erectile function in hypogonadal patients by restoring veno-occlusive function. Prospective, multi-institutional, double-blind placebo-controlled trials in hypogonadal patients are indicated.

Although the link below is a case report concerning a 56-year old hypogonadal man with diabetes, testosterone therapy may also be of use in younger patients. Have you had your testosterone/prolactin/estradiol/etc (full assay) checked?:
Dramatic improvement of penile venous leakage upon testosterone administration. A case report and review of literature

I’d strongly advise you to explore ALL alternatives to surgery.

dawnsong, it seems to be useful to people with diabetes. I have no diabetes, mi testosterone checked, it´s normal.

It´s too dangerous to put your level of testosterone up the normal levels, mine are up because I´m 21. Imagine those who had this therapies done have hipogonadism, low hormones, and much olders than me. Mine is just physical, nothing to do with hormones. Unfortunately.. thanks anyway.

Why did you overwork? I have gotten poor eq and stopped , now I never jelq.I used to do erect jelquing before I even knew it had a name (I was a kid and it made it look bigger, then I went thorugh puberty and the part a jelqed was bigger than the rest of my penis, so I know it works).I rarely practice now.heres a good rule of thumb, if you cannot do kegals inbetween 50 strokes you’re doing too much

You have to be smart about it, personally I think they should revise the newbie routine and remove the jelqing.

He has said that he didn’t overwork at all. I don’t think jelqing needs to be removed, as it is considered by many as the best and most complete PE exercise that tags both length and girth. I do agree we must respect jelqing and be very careful when doing it, but as long as you don’t overwork it and don’t do them to erect you should be fine.

Was (july 07): 5.25 nbp (5.9 bp)X 4.5

July 10 :6.15 nbp (6.65 bp)X 4.8

Goal: 6.75 nbp (7.1 bp) x 5.1 Final goal : 7.25 nbp x 5.3

I don’t think being “careful” will make any difference if you have this defect. Careful is good if you have a normal valve. If you have a defect in the valve, you will not know until it fails without warning, so you have no way to prevent it by being careful.

The sad fact is that it is really a roll of the dice. Do you want to take the chance you may have this defect? The chances you have this is very, very low, but if you do…this is the result.

I wish I could reassure you boys that it won’t happen to you, but the truth is there is no way we can make that assurance.

I will tell you this, if its going to happen, it will probably happen early on.

If you’ve been PEing for a while, chances are your valves are just fine. Then the next danger is if you are doing stupid shit…there is no protection against being stupid. :)

Deeppurple9 I’m aware that the patients involved don’t fit your profile. You say your testosterone levels are good because you’re 21 -I see you mention you had them checked - what were the values?
I ask because it is possible to be hypogonadal at any age so don’t be too quick to dismiss this.

The patients mentioned in the articles I posted had physical veno-occlusive (venous leak) conditions which responded to testosterone treatment. To put it simply there are indications that testosterone treatment (through whatever pathways) played a significant role leading to a healing/improvement of the underlying physical condition. I’m not suggesting that you follow testosterone therapy but I am saying you should discuss this with your doctor and possibly have a detailed hormonal checkup.

Hi. I read all your posts on this thread. I would like to say that you should not give up hope. Some injuries can heal themselves very very slowly. For instance severed nerves can re-grow, but nerves grow very slowly. I bashed the side of my finger in a road accident, and it took over a year before the numbness totally went. The length of nerve damaged was only 1 or 2 mm. Nowadays, I can’t tell which finger I damaged, but for a long time there was numbness and tingling - for well over a year.

OK, so veins aren’t nerves, but my point is that your body could already be in the process of very very slowly repairing itself. If this is so, you need to ask, “how can I help my body”. Three answers come to mind.

1) Keep your spirits high. I know you are depressed about the situation, but it is well documented that people who fee doomed do not heal as quick as positive people. Be as positive as you can. Do things that make you happy. Learn to meditate. Help others.

2) Eat high quality protein. If you can eat salmon and prawns, do so. Eat lots of it. Your body can’t make repairs of this type without high quality building blocks.

3) Exercise. Get your cardiovascular system in tip-top condition. This will make your erections a little bit firmer - every little bit helps.

Please keep writing. I am really hoping that you can post a success story on here one day :)

But you’re talking about suicide. Are you saying you’d rather kill yourself than take more pills? Please keep an open mind toward getting the help you need.

at my age, not less than 15 20 minutes I suppose.

From http://www.fami ly-clinics.com/ … r/diagnosis.htm :
"The Regiscan is another device that monitors the nocturnal erections precisely and gives a computer printout of the degree of rigidity, duration & number of erectile episodes for both the tip & base of the penis. "

I don’t know how to interpret the Regiscan results of 5 minute erections. Perhaps I would see that as very bad if I understood the context better. But my first impression is that a 5 minute erection is still an erection. You would have passed the toilet paper test. Your results show that you are not completely impotent. That is something. It is a start. And from a start there can be a path toward progress.

Although your doctors may have fine medical credentials, from your account it really sounded as if at least one of them took a very punitive tone toward you and toward PE in general. You said he got angry with you. This bothers me and makes me wonder whether the doctor(s) might be being unduly alarmist in an effort to "teach you a lesson." Beware of moralizing doctors!

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

I just found this paper, which gives a good overall description of veno-occlusive dysfunction and suggests that androgens play a role in keeping the system healthy.

I know androgens aren’t your issue, but it might be helpful for other members who are trying to better understand your condition.

Sparkyx, thank you for being right on top of posting a warning and for continuing to monitor the situation.

I really wish that we were wrong on this. As, obviously, so does deeppurple. This sucks. I have always been in the “PE doesn’t work for some people” camp rather than the “it works for everyone, you just need to find the right combination!”

Deeppurple,

I am so very sorry that this has happened to you. Thank you for sharing your experience so that others are informed.

Good post MM!

ModestMan, all of us have erctions at night, but suposed to be more than 10-15 minutes to be considered normal, because they´re present during all the REM phase, and it last much more than mine 5 mins. The thing is, I have erections, but blood go away just in a minute. That´s what venous leak is about.

Im going to read the paper you found anyway. Thanks for trying to help me really.

deeppurple9-

I know this appears to be a completely different situation, but there is a long thread here with guys having an ED condition, and for one of them it turned out to be a spasm in the ilio-psoas muscle group, caused by a sporting injury: Firm flaccid penis read the first few posts, and then go ( nearly 2 years later!) to post #286. This guy got lucky and found a solution.

In general, doctors are not so good at knowing how muscle spasms interact with the nerves and blood supply. The ilio-psoas muscles go from the lower back to the front of the hips, and in so doing, cross a lot of nerves and major blood vessels in the abdomen and pelvis. Compression of nerves and/or blood supply can cause ED.

So what I’m saying is - give it time. You may just get better. Or a cure may be found. Remember, when a doctor says there is no cure, he means there is no known cure yet.

You are young, time is on your side :)

Thanks Marky, despite it seems to be completely different from what I´ve I try to keep searching for a solution but believe me it´s not easy when nothing seems good and less when you´re 21 =/ but it´s what I´ve so.. thanks again.

deeppurple9 im very sorry for all that is happening to you but all I have to say is that maybe your penis wasn’t ready for jelqing or doing anything, as you can see all the rest of the forum do jelq, clamp, etc, etc and they have no problems.. I think that maybe your veins or body are not good at all for doing these things.

Once again im so sorry and I hope you can fix it.
