I have to say I trust doctors very little. I would think that mental ED would look very similar to venous leakage, but what do I know.

I can see that a there is a potential for this to happen, as sparky says, but to say a cock-ring does not work I think is just inexperienced. You can pump and then try a clamp for a cock-ring as Big Girtha has explained and you will be hard as long are you want.

Your problem with using a cock-ring also shows that the cause may not be leakage. If you have new blood coming in (an erection with venous leakage still gets good blood flow in) and you are stopping the blood flow out with a ring then you should still will be able to maintain an erection with a cock ring as long as you want. I am not sure on the actual pressures (blood in versus blood out), but I have been able to get new blood in and not release the ring or clamp. This is demonstrated by many clampers saying you need to continue to masturbate to maintain a 110% erection. But even if you do not touch you penis, it will still be near or at 100%.

I would say drink a six pack and go get a blow job from a hooker just to double check.

Azulvioleta, there is some good advice here on the cockring thing. There are systems used successfully for men with impotence of pumping up and using a ring to maintain the erection quite successfully.

I would say look into permanent treatment, but in the meanwhile work with the cockring and pump concept. I know you gave it a try, but there is no reason why it wouldn’t work for you, just keep working with it. It may be that a wider type ring might be better than a narrow ring. Look into it as a temporary measure.

As others have said, please keep researching and don’t give up until you find a treatment that works for you. I hope you choose to avoid implants. Five years from now, the treatment options might be far better than they are today. You want your penis intact so you can benefit from those treatments.

If you feel depressed about your condition, please seek treatment for your depression. One of the great things about antidepressant medications is that they really make it easy to live without sex and be happy. Please remember that the option is out there if you need it. Sometimes, just knowing the option is available can be very helpful, even if you decide never to take advantage of it.

To confirm your inability to get erect, have you tried the toilet paper test? In this test, you lightly wrap a band of toilet paper around the circumference of your penis and tape it in place. Then you go to sleep. If the toilet paper is torn in the morning, you’ve had an erection. If it’s not, you haven’t. It might be worth trying.

It is possible that your condition has been made worse by worry. A positive result on the toilet paper test might give you reason to hope.

say anything about long term, because this surgery effect long not more than 1 or 2 years as much.

I think the point of the toilet paper test, is that perhaps you are having normal erections in your sleep, but not when you are conscious. This would point to it being somewhat a mental issue. I know it has been shown that the veins are not being closed properly during erection, but this may be caused by a psychological/anxiety issue.

It really sounds like you have thoroughly looked into this with real experts. I again would say take a serious look at the "pump and cock ring" approach to get you through until a better solution is found.

And I’m not talking about Porn Store products, but serious medical grade devices that your Urologist can discuss with you.
