I've cured my premature ejaculation

Well going on day 12, still have not had sex with the wife since day 6. But I have masterbated a couple of times and still haven’t noticed any difference - still around 2-3 minutes - and I feel like coming.. If nothing changes after 3 weeks I may start to up it to 20 mgs/day and see what happens.

Results not likely until at least 3 weeks of treatment:

Sertraline (Zoloft) — Potent SSRI used to treat premature ejaculation. Improvement may not be evident until at least 3 wk following initiation of treatment. If no benefit with respect to premature ejaculation after 6 wk or if adverse effects become troublesome, discontinue in favor of alternative treatment.

Paroxetine (Paxil) — Potent SSRI antidepressant used to treat premature ejaculation. Improvement may not be evident until at least 3 wk following initiation of treatment. If no benefit (with respect to premature ejaculation) after 6 wk or adverse effects become troublesome, medication should be discontinued in favor of an alternative treatment.

Fluoxetine (Prozac) — Potent SSRI used to treat premature ejaculation. Improvement may not be evident until at least 3 wk following initiation of treatment. If no benefit with respect to premature ejaculation after 6 wk or if adverse effects become troublesome, discontinue in favor of alternative treatment.

Interesting read DarkTrick.getting close to 3 weeks and hopefully will see results.

Well everybody is different.

Without going back to re-read, I believe King_G saw solid results earlier than 3 weeks, like around 2 weeks, but he was also having sex every other day (lucky dog), which can also produce it’s own effect.

My point above was the documentation I’ve read points to a possible minimum of 3 weeks before improvement is experienced. Could be it takes some people longer than that.

I am at 3 weeks yesterday, have seen little improvement. Just have to wait it out. Hang in there man.

I have also seen results earlier than 3 weeks but I know that you have to give it at least a month for solid results. I’m actually in my third week now and I must say that there are noticeably differences in my ability to not cumming quickly. Zoloft 50mg

If you stretch it, it will grow. If you clamp it, she will know.

A few beers and some Zoloft will not be nice to you in the morning. major hangovers and the occasional grown man bed wetting is never fun. But hey, i could screw for longer than 2 minutes!

No problem. I don’t drink alochol because of trouble with migraines so that’s not an issue. The only thing I’m afraid of is that I have to take so much Cialis and Levitra just to get an erection in the first place that there might be a conflict between them and Zoloft or whatever I pick and I might not be able to get an erection at all. If that makes any sense.

In the read that Dark Trick posted they said that viagra may actually help while taking these anti-depressants.

Yes I’ve read the two in conjunction are a good combination for treating this problem.

Just came from the Docs, she asked how the Paxil was going and I remarked I’ve yet to see a clear indication that it’s working, and it’s been 3 weeks. She said 3 weeks isnt really that long, to give it 6 weeks, and if there is no positive change, we’ll try something else.

And during the initial discussion, she did suggest using the Viagra with the Paxil. I accepted (I love Viagra).

Hey dark, do you feel a little wierd dealing with your problem with a female doctor?

Horny Bastard

Not at all. I did that on purpose (I needed a new Dr anyway), figuring she’d be a bit more sympathetic. It also seemed like it would be more of a challenge. :)

Being a new patient, she insisted on a complete physical. If you’ve never had a head to toe physical by a female Dr in her early 30s, I can assure you, it’s an interesting experience.

Ref the Paxil, she was quite attentive. I hit it from a ‘quality of life’ angle - saying ‘sexually I have somewhat of a short fuse’, supported my argument with documentation, and she had no problem with the Rx for Paroxetine (I ended up with the generic Paxil, cost me $1 on my Rx plan). She also suggested the Viagra just in case ($10 on my plan, how nice).

My interest in this is greedy in a sense, as I can (usually) last a ‘reasonable’ amount of time, though there are times when I’m really fighting it.

I want total control over my ejaculatory timeframe. I investigated Dostinex for the same reasons (different mechanics though), with which I was sorely disappointed.

But with Paxil and Viagra - I’m hoping for a diamond-cutter hard-on that just doesnt want to quit. I just want to be supernatural, a sexual terrorist, and what’s wrong with that? :)

I am wondering - have any of you guys ever tried a penis desentisizing cream?

Seems like a solid, easy solution to me.

"…medical therapies for PE that are worthy of mention. One approach, topical therapies for PE, involves the use of local anesthetic creams with or without condoms. These generally are applied to the glans penis 1 hour before coitus and diminish the sensitivity of the glans penis. Drawbacks include significant penile hypothesia, possible transvaginal absorption leading to vaginal numbness and anorgasmia, and local irritation. "

And we have also read about a number of negative side effects of SSRIs, but you still take them.

And I still don’t know what “hypothesia” is, I have checked all dictionaries I have and Wikipedia, and still don’t have a clue what this word means.

OK, I managed to find out, it’s “loss of tactile sensation”. Well, that’s just how it works. If you put the right amount on, you’ll get just enough stimulation you need.

I heard that it desensitizes the woman also. Plus I like to get head and I don’t want my woman having some desensitizing cream in her mouth :)
