I've cured my premature ejaculation

My only concern about taking paxil is that I’m not one of those people with high sex drive, and I fear that it makes my erections lower or more occasional. What have you experienced about erection quality and quantity?

I’ll have an appointment with my doctor in one or two weeks, and then I’ll ask him about Paxil.

Paxil, Zoloft and the whole family of drugs will usually delay orgasm, but they also are known to kill libido and sometimes erections. It is for sure worth a try. If libido is affected badly you might give Wellbutrin a try which actually boosts libido and on high enough doses is known to delay orgasm too. Dosage must be adjusted carefully in all cases or you will end up with anorgasmia whats no fun either - going for hours, not able to cum at all.

The perfect drug for premature ejaculation was IMHO GHB/GBL which not only delays orgasm but boosts tactile sensations and focus on the act. Also very dosage sensitive though and not compatible with alcohol. It´s banned now, but in Europe GBL is still legally available (not for human consumption, but as glue-remover). To speak the truth: GHB/GBL is/was the best drug for sex ever.

SSRIs do often reduce libido and erection quality, but they are typically taken in doses of 20mg or higher. A dose around 10mg may not have these effects. For me, 10mg a day of Paxil hasn’t affected my erection strength at all. It has had an extremely minor affect on my libido. But this is hardly noticeable; it was most noticeable during the first two or three weeks.

Well last night I had my first sexual experience since starting the Paxil and it was GREAT!!!! I was able to go for as long as I wanted to and had to try very hard to make myself cum after about 10 minutes or so. I still might go down to a 10mg dosage after awhile just to see if it makes a difference.

Schabernack, I know there are some differences between both Zoloft and Paxil, I was just making the reference that they both work in the same way as far as what we are trying to accomplish.

Way to go Formula, I went to 15mg of paxil from 10mg for a week and no changes, so I have now upped it to 20mg to see if that makes a difference. I will not go over 20, if this doesn’t help I may switch to something else. Hopefully the wifey will spread her thighs soon so I can give it a go. Will keep you all posted. Formula are you buying your paxil on line, if so where and what are you paying, or for anybody who is. I paid 102.00 for 60 tabs of 20mg, not sure if there is better pricing out there.

No mine is prescription but it is the generic Paroxetine. Of course I was loaded up on Cialis and Levitra as always but it was nice to go on for more than a minute or so. Only problem I’ve noticed so far is that my erections off of Cialis etc. are weaker and I have to really try hard to maintain them. This might be due to the cabergoline because I experienced the same thing when I took it before.

For me, the Paxil worked the first night I tried it. Remember, it is also used as an as-need medication for premature ejaculation. So it’s not meant to require weeks, or even days, of use to work. Still, the effects do seem to improve after some regular taking.

I got my appointment tomorrow. I hope I can get a prescription without much hassle. And I hope the side effects, especially stomach problems, are not too strong as I have stomach problems already.
